Mountain Views and Starry Skies in the Countryside

Come enjoy the quiet of the country, only 15 minutes south of town. Stunning views of the La Plata Mountains and dark night skies for great star-gazing! Nice area for cycling and walking. Many of our neighbors have donkeys, horses, llamas and goats, chicken and sheep. No cigarette smoking but we are 420 friendly (outside only please!). We are a safe place for women travelers. There is a very friendly Labrador Retriever and a Basset Hound that live on this property but not allowed in the apt.

The Heritage House

Heritage House will sleep 6,king, queen, and twin/trundle beds. Closets are large. No pets, Open space living area has a gas fireplace, comfortable furniture & two large smart TVs. It is filled with photos and accents from the area. A fully equipped kitchen with appliances. The small counter has 3 stools and the table includes 6 chairs. It comes with a dedicated coffee bar with supplies. The backyard is landscaped and fenced With a covered patio, furnished with a gas fire pit ample parking

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located renovated office space. With two bedrooms plus a daybed/trundle everyone will get a good night sleep. The living room is spacious with a 55" smart tv and high speed internet. The kitchen may be a bit on the small side but is stocked with all the amenities you could ask for. Bathroom stocked with toiletries. Located 15 minutes from the local hospital and 20 minutes to San Juan Quality Waters. Park up to 4 vehicles

This cozy bungalow on "The Mesa" is approximately 13 miles from downtown Dgo. It is an unattached stylish efficiency with all of the comforts of home. We are close to the airport and hospital in the southern agricultural area of town. Beautiful views, simple living and comfort in this adorable custom apartment will have you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! There are pets on the property and neighboring ranches galore. The apartment is very private, with ample parking; trailers welcome.

You will love this Log Cabin Tiny House in Rural setting. Nice porch for morning coffee while watching the sunrise. Occasionally deer and quail will wander through. The fire pit and the hot tub increase the enjoyment the evenings under the stars. If you want to leave, Aztec is 10 minutes or Durango only 30. Tico Time is 10 minutes. House is stocked with condiments, spices, coffee, a pancake breakfast, wifi, cozy couch and loveseat, smart TV, queen bed, full bed and peaceful surroundings!

The Songbird

If you love nature you are going to love The Songbird. All day long you will hear songbirds. And in the evenings, you may see deer, turkeys, pheasants, geese & quail. It’s a 1-bedroom 512sq.ft guest house with a 256 sq. ft. covered porch and it’s located at a secluded distance from our private home. It was built for visiting family members and is used throughout the year. The little cabin is surrounded by 4 ft. chain-link fence so that everyone, including our pets, is welcome and safe.

Stay for work or relaxation in this unique and charming studio filled with custom furniture and cozy amenities. Property backs up to the Florida River and has a view of the local historic Rio Grande Railroad bridge used in the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The studio has Starlink internet, the coziest bed ever, cute kitchenette and heated floor bathroom. Plus a wood pellet fireplace! Just 18 min drive to downtown Durango and 8 minutes to the closest coffee shop!

Wildwood Cabin on the River

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. If you’re looking for a calm, peaceful place to be, then you found it. The Wildwood Cabin is nestled in a Bosque of cottonwoods on the banks of the Animas river. The “Wildwood cabin” was built in 2012 at the rivers edge of our small farm as a guest house. Enjoy the use of our park to fish from the river bank, picnic or just enjoy the river during your stay at the cabin.
