My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Sharon’s lovely home in Aptos. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, and we felt at home to use the kitchen, living area, and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains. Sharon was very responsive since before we arrived, which helped us feel prepared to enjoy our trip to the area. I really appreciate her attention to detail.

Enjoyed our time in Carmel. House worked great for our family. Appreciated the little touches like unscented laundry detergent and soaps around the house. Nice to have a garage you can park in. We enjoyed walking to and from town a couple of times, but mostly drove back-and-forth.

I enjoyed our stay at Cindy's place. It was a lovely, clean and private home in a peaceful neighborhood, and Cindy was highly communicative and proactive throughout our stay. The decor was so fun and thoughtful, as well! The home was well-equipped for all our needs, and I appreciated the plate of cookies to welcome us to the home. Overall, a great experience and I would stay here again.

What can say about Juan José that hasn't already been said by previous guests with positive experiences! Juan José truly was a gem to speak with and be around. My son and I were grateful for the breakfast and free use of the kitchen. We absolutely loved the location and its convenience to a walkable shopping mall, a bus stop as well, and in such a quiet, peaceful and safe neighborhood! The kindness Juan José extended to us was top notch! And we are grateful for our stay.

The stay here was very enjoyable. Place was clean and looked just like the pictures. Lots of snacks and waters were provided and we were gifted muffins every morning! Aquarium passes were a huge plus and hospitality was unmatched.

Penelope’s place was a perfect stay for our family of 4. My hubby and I shared the queen bedroom while my 2 sisters shared the one with 2 twin beds. The bedrooms were provided with all the basic necessities needed for our short stay. Penelope also showed us the way to the washer and dryer in the garage so we take care of some of our dirty laundry from our hikes. A fridge (full of yogurt, crackers & cheese, and milk) and microwave were conveniently located in the queen bedroom. Just outside the sliding glass door from the queen bedroom is a beautiful garden 🌸🌻🌷visited by all kinds of different birds every morning! We also spotted Bambi on our way in one evening 🥰 We could not ask for more and truly appreciate the little gestures and care Penelope put into providing the perfect accommodation for our little getaway 💖💕✨

Airbnb as it was when it first began! Kind and friendly people who've opened their home to guests, share their kitchen and provide breakfast foods. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent, the kitties were sweet and not at all intrusive. Amy had created a whiteboard of local recommendations by meal and town, with specific dish recommendations! No complaints, great experience.

Super nice and cozy place. I got the garden view room and had a great stay. Bathroom came with a hot tub w/ jets.

This is the only place I stay when I visit Monterey. It’s less than a 10 minute drive to the aquarium and you can even see the ocean. It’s super affordable (you’d pay more than double at a local hotel) and so adorable. The house is historic (obviously), the gardens are lovely, and the hosts are helpful, friendly, and kind. I’ve been staying here for 10 years and have visited more than a dozen times. I’ve stayed in all but one of the rooms. They’re all different depending upon your needs. I hate to give such a glowing review because it will make it harder for me to get a booking but I can’t keep this gem a secret!

Rebecca is the most warm and welcoming host! She went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special with a personalized welcome sign and freshly baked muffins. We stayed up chatting like family in the evening, and she even made us delicious scrambled eggs in the morning. Out of all the Airbnbs I've stayed at, this one truly felt like home. Thank you, Rebecca, for your incredible hospitality! ❤️

Rishi offers an incredibly warm welcome, that is genuine and caring. How lovely, after we’d been on a long road trip! He offered us a bottle of wine at check-in and other nice touches when he learned that it was my birthday. We took the advice of another reviewer and left our car parked when heading out in the evening, as all the spaces were full. Uber was reasonable price. We loved the quiet location, and only issues we had was not being able to access reception area the morning we were leaving, for breakfast and to check-out. Otherwise, our host made our stay very very welcoming and memorable. Would recommend!

Absolutely perfect. The bed was comfortable. The sheets and blankets were soft. Our little fireplace did the trick for the chilly evenings. Bathroom was well stocked and large. Breakfast each morning was hot and fresh. Delicious little muffins were available at all times. Furniture in the living room was soft and cozy. We had a lovely lovely stay.

Staying at the Jabberwock Inn made our stay in Monterey. Rick and Suzanne could not have been more accommodating. Everything about their place is special. Great attention to detail. Delicious breakfasts! Very comfortable. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying here.
