First Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Great location (very quiet), clean, everything you could need and very homely. Janice was a great host and all instructions were clear. Great holiday, good value for money and would definitely recommend. Melanie.

The place was absolutely beautiful, clean and had everything you need. The house was massive, the pictures don’t do it justice. The bedrooms and beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were spotless. There’s a spacious garden in the back and lots of space for parking. The location was perfect , not too far from the main locations in the Lake District. The check-in process was very easy and David’s instructions were clear and easy to follow. David was responsive and gave us lots of local recommendations. If you’re a big group traveling by car, I highly recommend this place.

Such a beautiful cottage with amazing views, it definitely exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, very quiet and peaceful and only a short drive to Carlisle for shops/restaurants. I’d definitely go back and recommend for a trip away in the lakes.

We all had an amazing time ! Plenty space for our family of 11 and 3 dogs.

Fabulous stay. House is walking distance to grasmere village and also very close to a number of walks including Easdale Tarn. We had a wonderful stay.

I really enjoyed staying in this cottage. The location was beautiful and the village is really Peaceful. The cottage was really affordable, I absolutely struck luck finding this place and would definitely visit again. Very comfy beds, and soft fluffy bedding/towels. The house was exceptionally clean and well maintained. It has everything you need. The log fire was lovely after a long day of hiking! Would definitely recommend.

Really cosy little cottage in a lovely little village with plenty going on. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby and lots of activities in the surrounding area to keep you busy! Nancy is a great host who was able to provide lots of advice on things to do and her guidebook was great for booking meals out! Will definitely be back

We had a wonderful few day’s stay in the Lake District. The cottage was just perfect for our visit and we couldn’t have wished for more!

Robin communicated promptly and was super helpful. His cottage is ideally located - a quick walk into Ambleside, but away from the centre and very quiet. It was clean and cosy. Perfect for a great walking holiday.

Well located flat in central Keswick - on street parking but we had no trouble on Easter weekend finding spaces. Well stocked with everything - great to have milk/tea/ coffee bags :) Big shower but narrow to get past bath to get to it ( see photos so not unexpected). Looked recently renovated so pristine clean. No window in bathroom so faint damp smell sadly but lots of air fresheners. There was a little back garden which would have been lovely to use if a little warmer. All in all great stay for 5 nights.

Church Street was a lovely place to stay, good layout, comfy furniture, plenty of room and all very clean. Location was good for us, 10 mins walk into the centre of Keswick or the lake. A great base for exploring this beautiful part of the country.

Great stay, check in was very easy, parking was okay, and the apartment was very cosy. It was quite cold when we arrived, but the heating was really easy to use and the place warmed up in no time! The location is very handy close to the village enter, lots of shops and restaurants. During our stay we visited the Lake Road Kitchen for the eight course taster menu, which was amazing and literally just up the road. If we decide to come back to Ambleside we will be sure to book this apartment again. Thank you

Wonderful place to stay near Wastwater. Beautiful flat, nicely decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. On the first floor with outdoor steps. Easy short walk down to the lake to swim or launch paddlboards. Can walk fells from the flat, perfect location. Really enjoyed our stay and would return.
