We absolutely loved this house! It was the perfect size for what we needed and it was so cute. Felt like home. My husband and kids and I would totally stay here again!

The Riverfront Retreat is an immaculate, well-appointed, generously stocked home on the Snake River with lovely views of mountains in tranquility. We watched the sun come up from the kitchen, listening to the birds and ducks. The kitchen was perfect for my husband, who is a chef, and the beds were very comfortable. It was a perfect place for our family gathering. We went grocery shopping prior to arriving and relied on the local store for basics, but you could purchase the local wines there, which was great as we did not have time to go to the wineries. One of the best Airbnb stays our family has ever had—truly unforgettable! The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views overlooking the Owyhee Mountains and Lizard Butte. On Easter morning, we sat out front and could hear the sunrise service being sung in the distance from Lizard Butte—such a peaceful and moving moment. The area was incredibly safe and quiet, which meant our younger kids could ride their bikes for miles without any traffic worries. The peace and calm of the whole place made it feel like a true retreat. My daughter in law, who is quite the neat freak, felt instantly at ease in the home—it was spotless, and she didn’t feel the need to clean a thing before settling in! That says a lot! The host was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made sure we had everything we needed. They checked in just enough to let us know they cared, without ever being intrusive.

I would recommend this home over and over and hope to stay there again in the future. The home was clean, great location with not only a big backyard to play but a path to walk and large grass area next to it. The home was clean, great neighborhood, had everything we needed, and even some extras. We had 6 people and there was plenty of room where everyone was comfortable. Brenda was very responsive when I had questions and very friendly. Highly recommend.

This place was perfect for a large group of adults for the weekend. The amenities were wonderful and the house was stocked with all the essentials which was very convenient. It also had plenty of towels, pillows, and extra blankets. We had 4 couples stay comfortably in this place for the weekend and there was also plenty of seating. We even enjoyed the games provided. I would recommend this place and stay again.

3rd time staying at the Little House by the River. The place is a slice of heaven.The views from every corner of the house are stunning. The place was spotless,as usual,and Sue left us a chocolate Easter Bunny and chocolate egg on the counter. I cooked everyday and there's an excess of cookware/bakeware in the kitchen that makes it impossible to need anything. Spending sunrise or sunset on the porch or the hammock listening to birds, especially the cooing of mourning doves, was a joy. Seeing the quails running on the spacious lot that the property is built on ( Probably a full acre ) was amazing. Neighbors are far from you so you won't hear a thing. You can even exercise by walking on the property or relax on the hammock and watch the beautiful and colorful Idaho sunset and all God's creations from nesting birds on the property to birds of prey. Dish Internet was reliable and fast, Used it daily with zero issues. Sue is the best host and a lady with a beautiful heart .

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The place was spacious, clean, and the surrounding area was beautiful. Kimberly gave great instructions and the place was well lit inside and out. Would highly recommend! There's the nearby Black Canyon Reservoir that I highly recommend. And the town of Emmett is very fun, always has some little festival or something happening.

Jeff was very welcoming. He checked in to make sure all was good. Any questions I had, he responded quickly. Traveling as a single older female with a disability, I felt very secure/safe with the bungalow/area and the surrounding area is amazing! Thank you again!
