Great transient for big groups. Sir Phil and his mom were very accommodating as usual. Easy transaction as always. I cannot go wrong with their properties whenever I need a transient just for myself or for a big group.

Pleasant staying in this place, Rian even bent her rules to accomodate my sudden change of schedule. Felt safe even during the storm that hit the island. Always makes sure that guest are taken cared of 👍

Beautiful, secluded, quiet... such a true paradise up in the mountains. We stayed here for 10 days, and even though the weather was not the best (typhoon season), we still had a great time. The wonderful caretakers, Ella and Elmer, transported us to/from Balatero Port. We were mostly in contact with Ella during our stay and she made sure we had everything we needed and looked after us during the long down pours and an overnight power outage. The hosts were also great to check up on us during the worst of the typhoons and the power outage. Rent a motorbike for a very inexpensive price from a local resort (ask about their weekly discount) and explore the towns and beaches. There's a small market near White beach to get groceries or visit some of the great restaurants in the area.

Everything as described. A bit of a language barrier but we figured it out. She will likely want you to pick up the key half a block away as she didn't live on site and also drop off the key in that same location but it's a 2 min walk so not a big deal. I guess there isn't an address added to the listing for that reason. Just start messaging her before the last minute unlike I did as that will save a bit of time and confusion.

Amy's self-contained studio apartment is large and private. It's the perfect hideaway and at the back of Arkipelago Divers, which is run by Amy and Pedro, with a joyful team. Being at the back of the dive center and restaurant, you're amongst residents (including pets) and some back-of-house operations. I like that family vibe. If you're a scuba diver, staying in Small La Laguna and with Arkipelagos is convenient, quiet, and essential for quality diving and expert guiding. The operation is well-run and very professional. Great for photographers too. The restaurant, pool, hang-out areas, beachfront, staff, and diving make this place complete. No need to go anywhere else. Amy is open-hearted, welcoming, and helpful to all with hands-on advice and assistance with travel and other information. 5 Star hospitality! I've had the best week, amazing dives, lots of laughs, and have been embraced like family. I'll be returning and will recommend to others. THANK YOU, Amy, Pedro, and crew!

This stay is the best I’ve had in Batangas so far. We had some difficulty finding it since we arrived late at night and GPS was spotty at times. Just make sure to find the landmark sent by the host. The place was great! It had a complete kitchen, drinking water, dishwashing liquid, and hand soap. They also provided towels and we only had to bring our own toiletries. The space also had big balconies where we could dry our clothes and had a view of the sea and nearby islands. Sir Pido was also a great help by organizing our half-day island hopping tour for us! Ma’am Tina was also very attentive and addressed any issues we had during our stay. The only thing to consider is that the location is a bit far from the main town and I can’t imagine getting there without a private vehicle.

This was my second time staying here. I could live there forever. I stayed 2 weeks the first time and I came right back for a month this time. If I am not busy this winter I will definitely be coming back for 6 months in November. Truly a hidden Gem on the island.

Host is very accomodating and responsive. Place is exactly what the picture looks like, clean and organized. Great view from the bedroom. Will recommend this to my friends.

Awesome place, awesome location! I was very pleased with the unit we got! Clean, comfortable and near the best parts Puerto Galera. The staff were all very polite and welcoming. They helped me with my booking even if I planned and booked just the night before our visit. I will definitely be coming back here, and I would highly recommend this to everyone. Great Job!

Excellent quiet place, back from the beach, friendly owners and neighbours. Pleasant veranda, great place to sit and enjoy the sea breezes.

Good clean place with a peaceful environment

The place is amazing, almost magical. We felt like we are in a mediterranean vacation. Every detail is well-thought of. We love the room where we stayed, I think it's Family Room B. The place is very serene with only the sound of the waves and the birds calling. We felt sleepy once we stepped inside the room - it's very homey and well-designed for rest and relaxation. It is everything as advertised, plus Zeus, the inhouse dog is such a treat! The beach is private and clean. Only, you need to hike down and up but it's worth it. We are not too fit to hike so we only went twice in our 3-day stay, and use the pool the rest of the day. The food is good, huge servings and well-plated. It is kind of pricey at 1,800.00 (600 per meal per person) since we, as a family, have small appetite and a lot of allergies, so we were not able to maximize this cost. We wish that they don't make this mandatory since they also have a restaurant where you can order decent meals, and you can have options of what to eat. There's a rough road in the last kilometer to the location, and we got a bit scared because our vehicle is not 4X4 and the road is muddy since it was raining. We managed to get to the place nevertheless, and like what I said, it was everything as in the photos but the photos can't capture the charm and the peace that this place exudes. The staff is friendly and helpful. The wifi is also good if you need to catch up with some work. We had the best sleep because the beds and room is so comfy. The pool is clean and the water in the pool is not heavily chlorinated. If you want to get away from it all and connect with the universe - this is the place for you!

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, with tremendous value for your money, look no further. Carls place is perfect, the rooms are clean, comfortable and very spacious. The view from the living room is just perfect, and the big terrace is great for having some drinks with friends. There are basic cooking utensils available and there is a big fridge. The bedroom is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The aircon in the bedroom will keep you cool at night and can even keep the whole apartment at a comfortable temperature. There is also a fan available and towels are provided. If you stay at Carls place I would recommend getting either a scooter or motorbike, they are a must for the serious climb up the mountain and give lots of freedom to explore the island for yourself. The roads are well maintained and paved. Long story short, great location, great host, great room and the best value by far!
