We had a wonderful time in Yelapa in this beautiful home! James was incredibly responsive and helped us with anything we needed. The views were breathtaking and the house was perfectly located. Yelapa was the perfect place for us to spend the week with our two toddlers. Lots of places to explore, animals to see and great food to eat. It was a dream vacation!

Beautiful large two bedroom with all the amenities. Large rooftop deck, two block walk to beach and restaurants. Just across the river from the Animas River trail. Be aware there is a flight of stairs to access the unit and another flight to access the rooftop deck. The host Kiri was extremely responsive before we arrived and when we were there. She is on site and greeted us upon checking in and helped with our luggage, arranged for taxi service back to the airport and provided excellent directions. Highly recommend!

My husband, two daughters (9 & 11), and I had the most relaxing 6 days at Dos Hermanos. The views from the house are incredible! We saw humpback whales breaching from the varanda while playing Uno. Marc and Michelle are so friendly and helpful. Marc’s sister, Sarah, was on an extended stay as well and was incredible. She even took my older daughter to the local middle school to teach English to the kids which was one of my daughter’s highlight of her trip. Maria cooked us dinner twice and I highly recommend it, some of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. The locals are friendly and welcoming and so happy to have visitors there. We had the beach to ourselves and swam and relaxed under the trees. We felt so safe that our girls went on daily walks to play with the street dogs and get ice cream while we stayed and read books on the varanda. Basically, this is a perfect trip if you want to relax. My only tip is to bring your own coffee bc the 2 stores only had instant coffee.

A friend and I stayed in Casa Fresca in early March and it was perfect – the weather was great and the bugs were minimal. Getting to Yelapa is an adventure – but Alfonso’s instructions were helpful and Vico (the caretaker) met us off the boat and arranged for someone to help us with our bags (we paid him as well). There are a lot of stairs to get to the house from the pier but it is so worth it for the views and the quiet. The living room was more comfortable than I imagined and we spent almost a full day just lounging at the house. The bathroom was clean and the shower had hot water. The beds were comfortable and spotless. The staircase to the upstairs was fine for us, but if you have limited mobility it might be a challenge. We ate meals out but the kitchen would have been fun to cook in. Getting to the beach at the other side of town was took 15 or 20 minuets and it was fun when we went mid-week. If I ever get to go back to Yelapa – I would rent Casa Fresca again in a heartbeat.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Yuri. La vue directement sur la mer était magique. Le logement est simple, assez bien équipé (cuisine) et propre. Nous nous sommes reposés. Nous avons exploré les environs de Yelapa à pieds. Les gens sont très gentils. Les restaurants sont très bons.

We loved our stay in Yelapa! Waking up each morning and watching the sunset each night with the view of the river and ocean was amazing. The outside living room area was a relaxing spot to be. The caretakers live on the first floor and were very kind and attentive if we needed them.

If you were looking for a really remote place with incredible views, this is your spot. As there are no cars in Yelapa, you’ll have to do a pretty decent hike to the property. It was a very cool experience though and the hosts provided some great support during our stay.

In the heart of the pueblo, very clean close to amazing restaurants, LOVED the open living room and falling asleep to the sound of the waves :) I recommend Alejandro’s place 100%

Irving & Judy are amazing hosts. Set us up with best restaurants & everything is close by. As in every review, the view of the water & Playa Isabel is incredible. Saw lots of whales & fun to watch the water taxi traffic. This Puebla is magical & we hope to return; 5 days went by too fast!

Yelapa is a special place to get away. The apartment was simple and had all amenities with A/C and fridge. The place was also quiet for sleeping. Beautiful courtyard area. I would rent again good price

Everything about this place is magical and amazing. Can’t wait to book our trip for next year and start a tradition of going yearly.

John is so friendly and helpful. We loved the easy access to horses ( extra pesos) when we wanted to go to the large waterfalls. Good to know bring pesos with you!!! thx for the memorable experience!!

Las Parotas rooftop studio was a magical place to stay. Very calm and private amidst all the trees. Bed is comfortable. Shower is large with hot water and good water pressure. Was able to cook in small but complete kitchen. The property exceeded my expectations! Patio is huge with great views and nice shade from many varieties of beautiful trees. Not far from Playa Isabel for swimming. Also close to town for groceries and restaurants. A hidden gem in Yelapa.

Great place to stay a few nights to get a feel for Yelapa life. The rooster sounds are no joke, I had to wear ear plugs to get good sleep. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was a phenomenon and a unique experience. Nestled in a village full of life but relatively untouched by the passage of time, you will not regret your stay. The surrounding jungle is abundant with life, and the setting is ruggedly adventurous. The host was always prompt and responsive. It was an unknown feeling to be such a minority, though the inhabitants of this beach/fishing/hiking town were kind and gracious. The views from the outdoor living/dining room were unbelievable, and the jungle noises remained a charming feature throughout the stay. One thing to note, you will need a car. Two things to note, you may want to stop for supplies as the restaurants are not always open and there is not a central market. Enjoy!

Great spot. AC works great. Comfortable and nice view. Lots of stairs to get to the apartment. It’s close to all the good restaurants. Loved it

Lo pasamos increíble, el departamento es hermoso, y la decoración nos encanto, decoracion colorida y esculturas bellísimas, lo mejor, tiene vistas increíbles! lo encontramos impecable, el personal de seguridad y el staff todos muy serviciales. Es un lugar muy tranquilo y familiar. Las albercas templadas, en excelentes condiciones, tienen estacionamiento, wifi, televisión con cable, buenas amenidades. Nota: no hay A/C ni mini split, solo abanicos en el techo, el clima es perfecto ahora (marzo) pero creo que si será un poco difícil para quienes se hospeden en verano con el calor.

Israel and Erika were wonderful hosts! They were very welcoming and very thoughtful. We have stayed in Mayto for several years and never rented a place with a kitchen, much less a beautiful kitchen like this one! This was a huge plus for us: having a place to cook fish my husband caught on the beach was fantastic. We also loved the very comfortable bed, the view of the ocean, and the proximity to the gorgeous Mayto beach (just a quick walk down the hill!). We were impressed with the Internet speeds in the middle of nowhere! We had a wonderful stay and didn’t want to leave. In fact we accidentally almost stayed an extra night (mix up with our calendar) and Israel was totally gracious about our mistake. This is a really nice house for a rural area!

Chris and Benito are amazing hosts and wonderful people. They are very kind and helpful. The unit itself was outfitted for every need you could think of and had an attention to detail I've not seen in any Airbnb I've ever visited. The view of the bay is breathtaking. The Internet was reliable for remote working.

Great location. It's probably one of the better Airbnb's in Yelapa. You're practically in town. All of the good restaurants are within a 5 minute walk. You have a small beach just down the steps away from any day trippers from Vallarta. The deck is large and a great place to relax (we were in the Casa Palmita Room) The larger beach is less than a 10 minute walk away, but after walking over there one day, we we didn't feel the need to go back there. The hosts were very accommodating, especially when we thought we may need to get my daughter to a doctor, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information and help we needed if we needed a clinic or if we needed to get back to Vallarta quickly (we didn't and she ended up ok).

We felt super lucky to be staying here in Yelapa. The property was really spacious, in the perfect location and we had the Miranda team to hand if we had any questions. The balcony is incredible and the extra communal roof terrace means everything is just easy if you need to wait or check out before your boat. Thank you!!!!

We had an amazing 4 nights in Yelapa. After exploring the area and the town we were even happier about choosing MiraMar. The central location was perfect for us. You could find more secluded places if that’s your goal, but we enjoyed experiencing the local scene plus enjoyed the fresh breeze and ocean sounds. The unit was great.. had all the necessities. Their roof top patio has breathtaking views! We enjoyed sitting on the beach watching the fisherman and families.
