Our family of five had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, and had all the needed amenities. Two bathrooms made getting ready in the morning so easy. The host was welcoming, and very communicative. We were sad our stay here was so short. We will be booking here again the next time we roll through town.

We needed a last minute stay for a sports tournament. Kim was responsive and flexible, allowing us early check in to help us get settled and ready on time. Her place was very clean, and smelled great! Quiet street, more than enough room for 4 of us.

Lovely home in Lavalette, would stay here again in the future.

Overall it was a great experience. Easy in and out. We felt safe the whole time. One night during our stay there was an intoxicated man wandering up and down the street yelling at someone in a house beside us. Can’t really blame the host for that and otherwise it was a great stay.

If you like private country living - this is the place. Brad is an excellent host. I would recommend this place to anyone

Kim was a fantastic host. She knew that my husband and I were visiting to spend Christmas with his family in January and she left the Christmas tree up to make it feel more authentic. She also checked on us due to the big snowfall we all received from WV to TN (which is where we live) just to see if we were going to okay making the trip. Never had a host care so much. This place suited our family needs when visiting the Huntington, WV, area. Jacqueline was so friendly, supportive, and respected our privacy. The place was exactly what we needed! Would definitely stay there again!

Bob’s place was charming, quiet, and the decorating was lots of fun. The furniture was comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen well supplied and squeaky clean. My husband appreciated the offer to see Bob’s MG as they are both fans. We felt welcomed at his place. Checking in and out was flexible and easy. Will ask to stay again on our way through.

Great location for Mothman festival or other Mothman activities! She was very responsive and helped with any concerns we had leading up to our stay. Would stay here again.

Vielen lieben Dank, dass wir bei euch ein paar Tage übernachten konnten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Zimmer waren sauber und das nötigste (Kaffee, Filter, Kaffeemaschine, Salz,…) war bereits vorhanden. Sogar eine Schale mit Obst und Schokolade stand für uns bereit. Danke, dass ihr uns so lieb umsorgt habt! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! ♥️

My daughter and I loved our stay at this location. The additional pictures made it super easy to find even in the pouring rain. Our host was very sweet and nice and even checked on us to make sure we found it ok and was safe (we traveled during a storm). My daughter and I loved the old character of the place and found it extremely charming and peaceful. We both slept well - my bed was awesome! It was very comfy, and I had no problems falling asleep. It was perfect for our needs and for our short stay as well as conveniently located. I would not hesitate to stay at this location again! We may just do that in the near future. I was pleased and happy and I am very appreciative for the kindness of our host!
