This recently renovated Welsh cottage with original features, modern appliances and cosy woodburner is situated above the village of Garndolbenmaen, near Porthmadog. This is a perfect, secluded, romantic retreat for two situated along a quiet lane with stunning panoramic westerly views over Cardigan Bay and the Llyn peninsula. The cottage is well-placed to explore Snowdon (30 minutes away), the Llyn peninsula (right in front of you) and the quiet coves and beaches of Anglesey (30 minutes away).

Stunning shepherd’s hut between mountains and sea

Enjoy a relaxing and peaceful break on the edge of the Snowdonia National park. The shepherd’s hut sits alone in an acre of garden at the rear of the Old School house. The shepherd’s hut was hand built in Wales and has a double bed, luxurious bedding, soft, romantic lighting and a cosy log burner. There is an electric coolbox, kettle, toaster, sink, and a Kadai fire pit and covered gas hob to cook on outside. The shepherd’s hut has its own private bathroom located in a second hut next door.

Our cosy (heated) shepherd's hut is a great retreat for anyone who wishes to escape to the countryside. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, our shepherd's hut has many attractions on its doorstep with spectacular views of Snowdonia and the coast of Caernarfon bay. The hut is situated in the historical village of Clynnogfawr, centrally located between Pwllheli and Caernarfon. The stunning beaches on the Llyn Peninsula is only 20 minutes drive away. No dogs sorry.

Our 18th century cottage is nestled beneath low hills in Cwm Pennant, a quiet, beautiful valley in the heart of Eryri National Park. Sitting off the road, our only neighbours are sheep and cows - an ancient church across a river is the only building in sight. The cottage is as cosy and comfortable on the inside as it is historic and beautiful on the outside - perfect whatever the season.

The name Bryn Goleu means mountain light. One small/medium dog is welcome but please let us know and check the doggy rules with us.
