Awesome place to stay. Convenient to the subway and the highway if you have a car! The place looked just like the pics. Very clean and neat. I would definitely recommend it and stay again!

The Great Stay Away From Home was just as described, upon entering , I felt like I was at home. The communication was awesome, always responsive and helpful no matter what time. Laure’-Ann is a gracious host that goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is comfortable and memorable.

Just checked out. Wanted to say how hospitable and amazing the bnb was. We have a huge family and everything was perfect. Many memories from this house now especially the Wedding memories. Also thank you for being super flexible and understanding

Second time here. Place was great, easy parking, clean, wifi worked great. The people upstairs were pretty noisy but that’s not the host’s fault so I won’t ding him for that. Overall I loved staying here.

Kirsten was extremely responsive and helpful. We booked our stay much in advance and had several questions prior to check in such as how many stairs there were, if there was enough kitchenware to cook a thanksgiving meal etc and she was patient to answer them all. In general, the property is beautiful, tastefully decorated, spacious and well furnished. There are a couple of trails around to explore and good food options to order in or go to as well.

L’appartamento di Zachery è piacevole e confortevole: abbiamo soggiornato in quattro (due coppie) per due settimane di vacanza alla scoperta di New York. Il quartiere è residenziale, tranquillo in una zona del Bronx piacevolmente multietnica. l’appartamento si trova di fronte a un bel parco pieno di uccelli e scoiattoli. La vicinanza di una fermata della metropolitana (linea 6) consente di raggiungere facilmente il centro di Manhattan in mezz’ora e alla sera di ritrovare una casa accogliente dopo una lunga giornata di turismo! Zachery è stato un ospite discreto e cordiale. Ottimo indirizzo!

Marlen has great communication, the home is very nice and clean, the presentation of the welcome items were also very nice and welcoming from the time we opened the door, the area has a lot of activities and it’s super convenient to shop being that a mini mall and target is just a 1 minute walk down the street. Though i will say, besides the baby running upstairs sometimes during the day, by quiet hours the baby is totally quiet, other than that the place is super relaxing and comfortable to take a break away from home or time off from work for a while, i will definitely be booking again very soon, & i 1000% recommend for anyone interested in this space.

I rented this apt for my parents who were in town. Gregory was always responsive and friendly. The location is very convenient and the place is as described. Will definitely keep in mind for my future guests!

Had a wonderful stay at Kay's place. It was convenient to restaurants, stores, public transportation. We enjoyed our stay and it was very clean with the amenities we needed for our 2 week stay. it was also a plus to have parking.

Very spacious apartment with high ceilings and central skylight. The Brazilian restaurant below is tasty and has good service. The bathroom has modern double sinks, which is nice, but an older style bathtub/shower. Uber to Wakefield 241 St subway station is about $15 and a quick ride, but it’s an hour plus subway ride to get to Midtown. Ly and Richi were very nice and responsive. Parking space was excellent, and there’s convenient grocery shopping options very close by car.

Gayle was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helped us problem solve a quick issue at check-in promptly. Her home was clean and welcoming. If you rent a car, there was plenty of street parking so we didn’t have any issues with that. Great location with a vehicle to get around. We would absolutely book with Gayle again! Usufruímos deste apartamento em família, num grupo de 6 adultos. A nossa estadia foi perfeita, apartamento espaçoso, agradavelmente decorado com cozinha bem equipada, qualidade e totalmente funcional. O terraço tem uma excelente vista panorâmica, sendo que o clima não nos permitiu a sua utilização. Conforto e limpeza 5 estrelas. Foi uma ótima base para explorarmos NYC, encontrando aqui um refúgio calmo para o necessário descanso e convívio familiar. Fácil acessibilidade por transporte público. No nosso caso Uber/Lyft que em 10 minutos nos colocavam na estação de Hoboken. Sem dúvida que voltaremos a considerar esta opção numa futura visita.

Ken's apartment is tastefully decorated with very good quality fittings and appliances. It is perfectly located to explore Manhattan. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ric and Úna

This was our first time as a family taking a NYC trip. Staying right in the city was extremely expensive so we considered being on the other side of the river. It worked out well. Olga’s son Hirian helped us as Olga was in FL. Hirian could not have been more friendly and helpful. Apartment is as described and had plenty of room for all of us. The 2 bathrooms really made a difference with 3 kids and all of needing to shower after a long day in the city. Apartment is right on the bus route for the city. Hirian is always available for any questions. Only X factor is parking but there a lot close by. You just need to keep paying on the app. If you are looking for a great place to stay this is a great choice!

The place was exactly as described and was a perfect home base for our family to stay. Very clean and quiet place with a full kitchen that we used for a number of meals. We walked to the Path train daily which was straight forward and felt safe - even when we came back late after seeing a musical one evening. Roy obviously really cares about his guests - giving suggestions of restaurants, stores etc. He was always very responsive and friendly. We would definitely return.

Our stay at The Home Away was nothing short of fantastic. On arrival, we had the pleasure of meeting Ricardo, who gave us a bunch of local recommendations as well as how to get into the city, etc. Our hosts were wonderful and really made us feel welcome as it was our first time visiting New York. The apartment itself is amazing, very clean and spacious, with some of the best views of the New York skyline you're likely to find. The area felt very peaceful and safe, far enough out of the hustle and bustle of the city while still feeling very connected to it. The location was incredibly convenient; the bus stop just outside the apartment has very frequent services that get you into Manhattan in less than 15 minutes. There is also a ferry port within walking distance that runs over to Manhattan every 20 minutes. There were plenty of shops and restaurants around the apartment, so you don't need to venture too far. Overall, our stay was 10/10 and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in NYC.

This place is great for a big group! Lots of room and a beautiful terrace at the top.

AJ was a wonderful host. Very responsive and the place was flawless. The instructions provided were very clear and easy to follow. At one point I noticed there were towels and hand towels, but no washcloths. I sent a message to AJ and washcloths were at my door within less than an hour. I really appreciated the peaceful environment. The location is very walkable and I felt very safe. I would highly recommend staying at this listing and I look forward to visiting again.

Wir hatten 12 sehr schöne Tage in der Wohnung von Christabella. Die Lage ist ideal, um sowohl New York City als auch die reizvollen Gegenden am Westufer des Hudson River zu erkunden. Besonders praktisch: Der nahegelegene PATH-Train bringt einen in nur 8 Minuten zum World Trade Center und in 19 Minuten zum Empire State Building – die Anbindung an Manhattan ist also perfekt. Aber auch Jersey City selbst hat viel zu bieten, mit zahlreichen guten Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Christabella war jederzeit sehr freundlich und hat schnell auf Nachrichten geantwortet. Die Wohnung war genauso, wie sie beschrieben wurde – sauber, gut ausgestattet und mit allem, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
