Our home was undergoing renovations, and Martin’s place provided us with a comfortable and clean space to hunker down while staying away from the construction zone. If you’re looking for a clean and inviting place to stay near Kent town center, this is the perfect spot.

This house is gorgeous right on the lake in the winter was so beautiful. The home was clean and had everything you needed. Absolutely loved Catherine’s guidebook so well written and amazing communication. I would recommend this stay for anyone who loves a staycation!! Thank you for an amazing weekend! 💕

We loved this airbnb and stayed for 3 weeks. It sits right on the edge of the marsh with an extraordinary view. We greatly enjoyed how a short walk away is Chaffinch Island, which is a gorgeous park full of tides pools and hackberry trees. The space was clean and comfortable and Mary was a fantastic host. You can see a lighthouse on an island 3 miles out sea from all the rooms, even the main bed.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The space was beautiful, peaceful, and had everything I needed. I would definitely come back again!

The Cottage at Blackberry River Inn was beautiful and exactly what we needed for the weekend. Breakfast was included and wonderful. This place is a gem and we will be back for sure.

The home was spotless and the view was even better than the photos. The living room has tons of windows and great fireplace.

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

What a restful beautiful setting. Beautiful views. We really enjoyed watching the hens roam the yard. A super clean space, roomy and comfortable. Some cute towns nearby like Millerton, Hillsdale, Copake, New Preston, Millbrook. Kent Falls close too.

We Enjoyed our stay with Rio. He was kind and informative. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We would definitely stay again.

This was my fifth stay in Jeanne's wonderful cottage! The cottage gets better and better each time I visit: a newly renovated bathroom, redecoration in lighter/brighter colors, etc. The home is extremely well stocked - every kitchen item you might need (including loads of glasses/plates/silverware, pots/pans, etc.), thick towels, extra blankets and throws, and lots of cleaning and paper products. There are plenty of cozy places to sit and relax, both indoors and out. The best thing of all is Jeanne herself, who is without a doubt the most generous host I've encountered on AirBnB. She is friendly, communicates proactively, and is quick to respond to any issues/questions. She truly opens her home to her guests, encouraging visitors to use the space fully and to make themselves at home. The cottage is an easy walk to the beach ane/or to town and is lovely, homey, and peaceful. I'll definitely return!

This is a lovely historic building in peaceful surroundings. It's spacious and clean inside, with comfortable beds and couches. If you have problems with steep stairs it might be tricky, but there are two handrails to help. The only bathroom is downstairs - something to keep in mind if you need to get up at night. The host was very responsive about some minor repair issues we reported. I'd be happy to stay there again!

My daughter and I loved our stay so much. The setting is so beautiful and peaceful. I loved listening to all the bird song and my daughter loved the fish! Such a cozy, comfortable home. We loved our relaxing time here. Gabriele is a fabulous host, so responsive and so kind. Thank you!!

We loved it. Redefines “fully stocked” - David’s place had everything we could ask for. The water at high tide was magical. Kayaking, fishing and we found over 100 (literally) hermit crabs.

Had a staycation with my girlfriends and we felt right at home. They had all the necessary kitchen utensils to make dinner for my friends. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a home away from home.

Very comfortable. See through shades in bedroom and living area needed to be not so see through. Also could have used a dresser in the bedroom. Hard to get in and out of the driveway. We had a pickup. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Raj was very friendly, proactive and helpful. Place was clean, quiet and comfortable. Went to Clinton for work and it was a better place by far than a local hotel.

Amazing, quaint beach house just seconds from the water. Hosts were great, answered any questions I had immediately. We are from town and stayed while work was being done at our home but will definitely be recommending this property to friends and family who come to visit.

This is a lovely house in a lovely location. We enjoyed walking just steps to the little beach. We also liked how it felt removed from the hustle and bustle yet we easily drove into New Haven and surround towns everyday.

My sister and I were in town for a wedding in Old Saybrook. We loved this place. So comfortable and had all the conveniences needed for a theee night stay. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfy, the house felt safe and private, the water pressure was amazing and hot water was plentiful. Jaime, the host was immediately responsive and communicative. All was just great and the neighborhood felt safe for walking or sitting on the deck in the evening. Highly recommend

Very nice spot, overlooking central pond of Cogomon Lake(s) Friends picked us up in their boat, we floated to dinner ,drinks, felt like my office was a million miles away. The only knock, it is COLD this time of year--we dressed for it, but wake up shower was a little cold--
