We hadden een leuke tijd ondanks de weersomstandigheden! Heel hondvriendelijk! Onze pup van 5 maand en onze hond Jazz hebben zich kunnen uitleven in de tuin en omgeving en dit af en toe op een speelse manier met de leuke hond van Valentina! Valentina en haar man zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en altijd bereikbaar indien nodig. Heel rustige omgeving en een mooie uitvalbasis in de natuur maar toch niet ver van Aosta. Wij hadden pech met het noodweer maar wij hebben genoten van de rust en onze uitstapjes. Wij hadden alles wat we nodig hadden en geen enkele vraag was te veel! Wij komen zeker terug!

la casa è un tipico chalet di montagna con tutti i servizi essenziali. la terrazza è il vero gioiello della casa. unica pecca è che è veramente difficile da raggiungere la strada è assai impervia e sotto la pioggia abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà. Host reattivo e disponibile.

Lieu fort agréable et très accueillant pour un groupe d’amis. Tout est de qualité pour se sentir bien, comme à la maison. Il faut juste savoir que tous les espaces spa/jacuzzi etc. sont payants.

Abbiamo passato qualche giorno in questa bella casetta con mio marito e i nostri due figlioletti. La casa è piccola ma con tutto il necessario e davvero tranquilla e accogliente. Panorama bellissimo. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di incontrare splendide giornate che ci hanno permesso belle camminate in zona. Grazie!

A beautiful cabin in a stunning location with amazing views, hot tub at an extra cost but not unreasonable and one of the best views from a hot tub we’ve ever experienced. Everything was clean and warm and comfortable, surrounded by nature and although close to other cabins it still felt very private. We booked at the last moment but everything was ready for our arrival. Highly recommended for nature lovers looking for something romantic and secluded

Alloggio molto bello, immerso nella natura, super curato, sia l’ alloggio in sé, sia gli spazi verdi intorno. Con la sua tranquillità, privacy e silenzio è perfetto per una fuga romantica, la vasca con la vista sulla valle è bellissima. Le host sono state disponibili e gentili per tutta la comunicazione. Super consigliato!

Abbiamo passato 3 giorni in tranquilita e armonia con la natura perche era questo che cercavamo. Ci siamo goduti ogni canto dei uccellini e il calore della casa, con il suo buon profumo di pulito e legno . Non mancava niente perche la casa é attrezzatissima. Ringraziamo di cuore alla hostes Genny per la sua premura nel dare tutte le info con i posti da visitare in zona, sempre disponibile a rispondere alle nostre domande. Per facilitare il nostro arrivo ci ha mandato anche un video e ci ha lasciato pure un pensiero per augurarci Bona Pasqua, una colomba! Cosa dire altro che grazie mille Genny, non vediamo l'ora di poter tornare in estate!

Die Unterkunft in der Nähe von Pila war super schön. Nach der Anfahrt den Berg hinauf, waren wir in einer anderen Welt. Das Haus lag toll, wir konnten über einen kleinen Trampelpfad hoch nach pila laufen, haben aber das Auto mit den Kindern bevorzugt. Die Gegend ist ein Traum zum Wandern und Fahrrad fahren. Die Restaurants in Pila sind super lecker und die Angestellten freundlich. Bei schlechtem Wetter haben wir uns Aosta und umliegende Burgen angeschaut und als es nachts merklich abkühlte konnten wir den Ofen einschalten um das Haus zu wärmen. Das Haus ist klein aber es fehlt an nichts. Es ist alles vorhanden was man in einem Urlaub mit Kindern braucht. Küche, Bad, Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Grill, Sitzplatz außen und sogar eine Waschmaschine. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Amazing stay at Giorgio’s place. The 6 of us (3 kids) have just returned from a great stay at Giorgio’s place in Pila. Giorgio was very helpful throughout. The place is great, we managed to ski to and from the door! The apartment is very warm, clear and peaceful. I highly recommend a car as the location is remote - we took an suv with 4x4 and was fine to use on the snowy drive (mid Feb). Giorgio was always happy to help and remained flexible for a really late checkin (sorry Giorgio) and an early departure. I have nothing but positive remarks for the stay… I highly recommend for anyone wishing to stay for winter skiing, summer biking/walking or just a general stay in beautiful surroundings.

Spacious flat in a chalet overlooking the Valnontey valley. The bedrooms are spacious and have space for storing our stuff. The kitchen/dining is spacious enough for preparing meals and eat at the long table. Andrea is very responsive if you ever need any help

Il soggiorno è stato molto bello! L'host è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile. La comunicazione è stata chiara e rapida fin dal primo momento. La casa era pulita, accogliente e dotata di tutto il necessario per sentirsi come a casa. La posizione è ottima, tranquilla ma comoda per raggiungere tutte le principali attrazioni della zona. In 9 siamo stati molto bene. Unico consiglio che posso dare al proprietario è sfruttare meglio la zona esterna. Consiglio vivamente questo alloggio e spero di tornarci presto. Grazie ancora per l’ospitalità!

Fantastic hosts, cosy apartment, delicious food. Very private in the beautiful forest, the distant sound of the river lulled us to sleep each night. Definitely be sure to eat a meal or two in the delicious restaurant!

C’était tout simplement grandiose : la maison est isolée au milieu de la nature, avec une vue sublime sur le Cervin, très bien équipée (réchauffer son eau avec un chauffe eau à bois, quel plaisir !). Camillo est très sympathique, avenant, très agréable. Un grand merci !

Una vacanza stupenda grazie all’alloggio di Barbara così caratteristico. Ha tutto il necessario esattamente come nella discrezione. Ubicazione comoda e strategica. Supermercato e ristoranti in vicinanza a 5 minuti a piedi. Nessun problema di trovare parcheggio davanti casa. Ottima soluzione per una coppia! Armadietto riscaldato offerto dai proprietari una splendida sorpresa!

Fin da subito Alvi si e' dimostrato molto cordiale e disponibile l'appartamento molto carino e caratteristico, situato in mezzo alla valle e con una vista molto bella, vicino agli impianti da sci di Valtournenche (circa 7 km). Ci siamo trovati veramente bene e lo consiglio. Stefano

We had a great time at the Diro chalet. The kids played with the snow in the small patch of grass in front of the house, skied to and from Valtournenche cable car and had plenty of fun with the Wii. We found the chalet had a very practical design, with a wet area and ski box to leave skying going ar and boots coming back from a young walk. Local restaurants, supermarkets and shops are a 10 minutes walk away. The chalet had a beautiful spot in the corner of the lounge where my husband used to sit and read a book in the morning sun, enjoying the view across the valley and river. A beautiful spot and property, we all wish we can come back one day

Dicono che talvolta si trova ciò che si cerca. Lo chalet di Luigi corrisponde esattamente a quello che cercavamo da tempo: pace, silenzio e magnifici scenari naturali. Situato all'interno di un bosco incantevole, in un ampio spazio privato e recintato, ci ha permesso di disporre di una base piacevolissima e ben organizzata per disintossicarci dai diversi inquinamenti di cui soffre chi vive in città. La casa è funzionale e non manca di alcuna comodità, il signor Luigi è un ospite squisito, attento e discreto che, senza invadenza, ci ha offerto il suo supporto ogni volta che é stato necessario. Speriamo di tornare a godere di questo luogo magico.

We had a happy stay at Barbara’s cosy and rustic Alpine chalet which is situated a little bit outside Valtournenche. It is a wooden chalet and very quaint. We were staying as a family of 6, 3 adults and 3 children. The 3 children shared one bedroom, 2 adults shared one bedroom and one adult was on the sofa bed in the lounge. Barbara was extremely helpful and responsive to any queries we had. One thing to note is that the upstairs bedroom is on a mezzanine level so is not entirely private if there is someone staying on the sofa bed. This did not worry us however. We found this arrangement fine. We also found the hot water tank was not big enough for all 6 of us to shower in succession but again this was not a problem for us, we just staggered our showers to allow the hot water to reheat. We were very grateful for Barbara for being so helpful and communicative during our stay. The chalet is very clean and the views are beautiful. Anyone staying in Barbara’s chalet will have a lovely time

We rented the house in early march to ski and had nothing to complain about. The house is beautiful with a lot of history. Great place to stay with absolutely amazing views.
