A rustic large cabin built by owner. Many trinkets of his life. Sailing themed artwork. Very intriguing life story. Open space. Solid internet connection. Dark night sky (see Milky Way easily). Beautiful sunsets. Warm. Functional. Definelty different from other BnBs we've stayed. Enjoyed communicating with Joanne.

I came here with my husband for a quick pit stop on our way home from spending a couple of days in Acadia National Park and it was perfect. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and made us feel right at home. There was plenty of space, it was super clean, and everything was up to date. The area was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful, which was exactly what we needed to relax before our road-trip back home. Eric and Erin were super helpful and welcoming, and their touches to the cabin did not go unnoticed! The bathroom was well stocked and even had bathrobes, the kitchen had all the essentials needed, and we greatly appreciated the speaker and firepit outside. We enjoyed the cabin so much that we will definitely be staying here again in the future and highly recommend it to anybody who is looking to submerge themselves into the beauty of Maine!

A great place to stay in such a great area. Feels so in the middle of nowhere but in a good way. The stars are beautiful at night, the house was gorgeous, and they have plenty of games to play since there is no TV. But we didn’t miss the TV at all! Whoever sleeps upstairs will be forced to wake up with the sun because of the lack of curtains but also not a bad problem to have :) And the bathroom floors are heated, which is such a nice amenity!

We loved this spot so much that we ended up taking advantage of an opportunity to stay an extra night! The house is over 200 years old and therefore a bit creaky, as well as on a main road, so if you really need absolute silence to sleep, Parker House might not be the perfect spot, but we do live in a remote area and we were able to sleep, besides just enjoying the well furnished space. Hope we get to return!

This is one of the best places we have ever visited. A beautiful setting and very private. The home was fantastic. Very well done and very comfortable. Everything inside was super clean and neat. Very nice bed and fantastic bed linens. A lot of care and time has gone into creating the spot. And let’s not forget the beautiful outdoors, the setting was fantastic. We enjoyed the fire pit way too much. On a clear night you can see the stars without difficulty. We will definitely come back and plan a longer stay.

Doris and Bill’s house is beautiful, clean and charming with an impeccable view of the ocean. The house is beautifully decorated, has lovely artwork and is so cozy and comfortable. Recently renovated, and the hosts are lovely: responsive, knowledgeable about the area, friendly and accommodating. We stayed with just two of us at the house, but this would be a great house for a larger group. The house is absolutely charming with comfortable beds and plentiful bathrooms. The kitchen is great to cook in with nice appliances and cookware, so many thoughtful and delicious welcome items were at the house when we arrived. The screened in porch overlooking the ocean is a delight! We didn’t have time to make it down to the beach as we were there for work, but I bet that is spectacular as well! Beautiful home, great hosts!

My husband and I loved staying at Paul’s wonderful home, as with many of his previous guests. It was quiet and private, and all the listed amenities were great. Internet was fast and we were able to cook our meals in the kitchen. We loved connecting to the Bluetooth speaker in the living room. The hot tub was very easy to use. It is located inside a sheltered addition to the house, which is accessible by a few steps from the back door. That was perfect for us because it was raining during our time in Penobscot. We were also able to walk over to Northern Bay from his home and stopped by the gas station across the street to grab some snacks. Thanks for a lovely stay!

My husband and I spent a long weekend here for his birthday. We brought our 2 small dogs, and our hiking shoes to escape city life for a bit. When we arrived, we took the dogs down to the boat launch just a few min. walk down the street. The local folks we met were all very nice. We also were about 10 min. from several restaurants/cafes, although some weren't open yet because April is still the off-season for the area. Within 10 minutes, there are several public parks where the dogs can run off-leash, and you can hear the nearby stream from the front yard. We made it to Acadia National Park to watch the sunrise and explore a bit. The neighbor had eggs for sale at a little roadside stand, too. We REALLY enjoyed the cozy, eclectic, and inviting space, especially the gas fireplace! We didn't think to look the inside of the shed until we were getting ready to leave, but it would be a SUPER cool place to chill in the summer, or for kids to hang out -- decorated and everything!
