Wonderful weekend with the kids and the dog. Loved the hot tub and the game room. Lovely, cozy place to enjoy as a family.

We had a wonderful time swimming, fishing off the dock (caught a nice sized large mouth bass & panfish) and boating. We enjoyed the paddle board, kayak and screened in porch. We used the fire pit one night before the mosquitoes came out. We didn’t use the hot tub. We rented a pontoon from Brett at Island View Resort. He also sold bait, gas and a map of the lake with tips for fishing the lake. We caught crappies, bass, panfish and northern. The bunkhouse was prefect for our two boys. Our daughter enjoyed the loft room. It was nice that there were 2 fans. The kitchen was well equipped and we liked having a large electric skillet. Didn’t use the washing machine except for washing the towels before we checked out. The beds were comfortable. We also liked the large dining room table -used it to play games in the evening. We’d definitely recommend getting peanut butter twists from Pattens restaurant in Orr. It was a very relaxing vacation. We’d definitely rent it again.

This cabin was wonderful. It fulfilled our needs while we were visiting family in the area. Location on the lake provided some beautiful sunsets. The host was great for communication. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautifully maintained house with plenty of space. Aaron was an excellent host and was proactive in thinking about what we may need for our week-long stay. The property was lovely and one could see the efforts to maintain the house. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and everything working as expected. Sound did travel well in the house so that is one thing to be aware of.

The home was so comfy with thoughtful details to make each area of the home just perfect. We loved all the special decor touches. We went to relax and got that for sure. Deer coming into the yard while we were using the outdoor hot tub was an unexpected delight.

This Airbnb was a perfect place for a larger group due to the spacious and well planned space. Everything was high quality and felt built to last, which seems rarer and rarer nowadays. We used the pool/hot tub and pickleball facilities. Pool+hot tub were a nice size and there was plenty of seating. We enjoyed the pickleball but the paddles did seem aged. It would be nice for the resort group to implement self check in for the ease of the guests but Crystal at the front desk was a friendly face.

The property is as in the photos, very spacious in the inside. Right on the water, only a minute or two from downtown Ely, but worlds away from the City. Nice setting, plenty of room for all in your group. Multiple levels, built to enjoy being on the lake, so many nice touches, and the kitchen is well stocked, with plenty of glasses/plates and everything required to feel at home. Plenty of towels! Hot tub is in a private setting! Second floor is reached by open stairway, includes an open area overlooking first floor, that includes conversation area with futon, and large bedroom with great view of sunrise and attached bathroom with shower and large jetted tub. We were just two, and felt comfortably together, larger groups will not feel crowded, and two cars can park in the garage, and they provide two remote garage door openers, so you do not have to get out of your car to open or close the garage door. Truly is like having your own place in the woods, if you were a millionaire!

Highly recommend, very peaceful, clean, and fair priced. Beautiful view overlooking the lake. We will be back!!

Mariah was an excellent host and the cabin was exactly what we were expecting. Will definitely stay again if in the area. 5 stars for host and cabin.

We wanted to spend some downtime in the north woods after the holidays, and the tiny house was exactly what we were looking for! The kitchen was well-stocked and everything was just perfect. Reading, eating, sleeping, relaxing in the sauna, and just taking in the beautiful wintry surroundings was so peaceful. Saw lots of wildlife, including a resident red fox. It was also close enough to Bayfield to check out local restaurants and bookstores, and take the ferry to Madeline Island.

Great cabin on the lake. Perfect for us to have a few days away. Loved our stay!

Lovely little space for my birthday getaway! The cabin felt perfectly sized for two people + a dog. We've stayed in smaller! The kitchenette has a ton of counter space for cooking. We were surprised by how much we loved pulling out the couch after a long day of hiking and watching a guilty pleasure show to end the night 😁 Everything was clean, new and well taken care of. We ran into Michael, who was very kind and helpful. My dog loved him 😊 It was chilly weather during our stay, so I'd recommend packing a pair of slippers as the floor is tile. The cabin itself warms up nicely. The real standout is the outhouse - cozy warm, well lit and not stinky at all!! Amazing.

We stayed at John's place in the winter, and it exceeded our expectations. The place was clean and well-stocked. Running the log stove and sauna were a must, as they were the only way to stay warm. We saw a wolf and many other wildlife during our stay. Snowshoeing on the nearby lakes were a highlight. The trails marked by Dave were easy to follow, along with the maps they provided. If you are looking for a peaceful trip surrounded by nature, you found the right place! Thanks to John and Dave for being so helpful and responsive.

Hands down our favorite Airbnb stay EVER! Brien and Shelley were so kind and communicative! Their cabin was peaceful, cozy, clean, beautiful, and an incredible value for the cost. We could tell they put a lot of love and intention into their space! Far enough from people for privacy but close enough to town for convenience! We could hear the creek from the porch and loved walking the trails. The bed was very soft and the gas fireplace created the perfect ambiance. The almost full surround of windows was perfect to watch the sun set and the stars come out. We were very sad to leave and we will definitely be back!

Nothing but amazing. Plenty of sheets, towels, etc. Pots and pans along with solverware, and cooking utensils were in great shape. Bonus was the wood stove. Plan to come back again!

Beautiful location, and amazing cabin. Everything is as described and host was very responsive. Definitely need 4WD in the winter, as stated.

The stay here at Blueberry Cottage was truly a beautiful place to have a little R&R. Take the a little trail straight to the sandy beach to see Siskiwit Bay. With this property being pet friendly right by the water was truly a win win scenario! Not to mention those gorgeous windows taking everything in. Lacey was a terrific host! Kept me informed when there was weather coming through and had back up plans in case we needed to pivot and choose a different property to stay. The consideration and open communication made me feel at ease and while I didn’t need any assistance knowing she was a message away was incredibly reassuring. 5 out of 5!

This was a great little cabin for our kid free weekend away! They had everything in the kitchen you could need to cook meals. It’s tucked into the woods so it’s private and it’s just what we were looking for. It was clean and we had a great experience! Derek was quick and responsive when an issue came up.

Shirin & Frank’s cabin was very accommodating and is in a beautiful location. Everything about the place was awesome and exceeded was I was expecting from the photos. Would visit again!

The cabin is very clean and the interior is very spacious. The deck and screened in porch add substantial usable space. A few things: -Not a lot of grassy/yard space given the forest/cliffs/brush. There is a bonfire pit with space for chairs around it. -Check for burn restrictions. Arrived on October 17th to a total ban on burning since the 11th. We were notified the day of check-in but it changed our plans of hanging around a fire. -As far as I could tell, the propane heater only goes on and off without a thermostat. On all night is too hot for the lofts. Off all night is too cold for the futon (depending on outside temp). -Porta Potty was very clean but smelly. -Sliding door lock consists of I-bolts with a padlock on the exterior. Someone could play a joke and lock you inside with a different lock. In all, this well-stocked cabin is a great way to experience the beauty of lake superior without breaking the bank. Would certainly recommend and come back again.

Absolutely beautiful!! Private and Peaceful!! We will definitely be back, and will tell all our friends and family of this amazing cabin.

This is a great getaway place. It’s right by the water with great views over the lake. The hosts are responsive to needs and want you to have a good stay. Check in and check out are very simple. I would recommend this cabin.
