I can't say enough good things about Marla's Airbnb. We were there with another family in December and it's gorgeous! There was enough room to comfortably fit 2 families (collectively with 3 preschoolers and an infant). The separate but connected apartments were perfect for each family to have their privacy when needed but also come together. We had meals enjoying the beautiful view, snug next to the fireplace. The hot tub was wonderful. Communication was easy and Marla is graciously accommodating. For those of you traveling with infants, there's a baby bathtub and a pack n' play. I highly recommend and am hoping to come back soon.

Incredibly beautiful surroundings, right on the lake. Private and plenty to do with lake watching, kayaking and walking. The house was spotless, simple, comfortable and welcoming, great for a family of four. The fireplace and windows in the main bedroom were gorgeous. Kara and Serge were very friendly and helpful. We’ll be going again.

The Getaway is a fully equipped river house with sensation views of the majestic St. Lawrence and all the magnificent ships passing by! Ziad was a first rate host and the on site hosts were very accommodating, welcoming and super friendly!! We will surely be back!!

We had a wonderful time at Blake’s cottage. We enjoyed the relaxation, BQQ, and walking around the village of Westport, which was very close by. Our dog really enjoyed the property and town as well. We recommend the Lost Penny Pub in Westport for a drink and food. Thank you so much to Blake and Lizzie!

I recently stayed with my family, and we had an amazing time! The place is fantastic, and it’s clear that the hosts put a lot of time and effort into making sure your stay is enjoyable. They went above and beyond in every way! The property was clean, organized, and spacious—perfect for our group. We felt so comfortable and at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great getaway!

The waterfront is beautiful, with a well-kept fire pit and a peaceful lake that felt private during the week. The cottage was thoughtfully stocked with everything from soap and coffee to all the necessary appliances. The internet was fast, and the heat pump kept us warm on cooler nights. We kayaked and canoed around the lake several times, enjoying the wildlife—turtles, herons, ducks, loons, and frogs. The fire pit was perfectly placed for sunset views, with plenty of kindling and wood. The BBQ worked great, and Verona offered everything we needed, including good food at Muddy Waters Restaurant and treats at a local bakery and Kawartha ice cream shop. Wow what a great location, so private and truly a gem of a retreat. The building is magnificent, natural wood accents everywhere. You can tell the quality that was put into this home. Will certainly consider seeing the natural setting this Summer. Hosts were super accommodating and very responsive. If there was one thing to know, if you bring young kids or grandkids, consider bringing some of your regular plates/bowls etc… the quality of the dinnerware that is supplied is top quality, sturdy and painted with beautiful patterns - top notch for sure, so you wouldn’t want to the little ones to break any of it!

The Happy Place cottages are lovely. Our group of 5 stayed in the Explorer cottage. Excellent use of space and very nicely decorated. The view and the surroundings were so peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the dock talking then have a beautiful fire. There was another group staying at the Dragonfly who joined us at the fire. It was a nice sense of community. Every one is us said we’d come back again

We really enjoyed our getaway at Jessica’s place. The cottage was the perfect size for two people, and the hot tub/sauna/cold plunge experience was just what we needed. We also appreciated all the nice touches around the house, like the little chocolates and bottle of wine. There are two bathrooms, a flushing toilet for #1 and a composting toilet for #2. The toilet for #2 is outside but attached to the house, and was much nicer than we anticipated. The owners are also around the property every day to work in their shop/feed their chickens so something to be aware of for privacy. We still felt like it was private because of the fencing that blocks the hot tub area. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here!
