A unique and spacious house with two wonderful fire places (and plenty of wood), and a great big bath, to name a few highlights. Amber was excellent to communicate with, being very friendly and responsive. Also a lovely outlook, often spotting the local kangaroos. Thanks Amber - we really enjoyed our stay!

The perfect place for our family which includes a teenager and 3 young adults. The ping pong table was a favourite with our 15 year old and it was very relaxing to have a wine while sitting around the fire pit. Colby was excellent with communication.

The house was a great place for a long weekend with the family. It was spotlessly clean with all the amenities we needed. The location is very private and still close to town and all the attractions of the area. It was wonderful to stroll around the grounds early in morning. So much bird life! Rob was a superb host. All of his instructions were very clear and he communicated extremely well. Highly recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having 2 toddlers in a very homey accommodation was amazing. They as well as the rest of my family felt at right at home. Location is right next to a park where my kids would go down to and have a play and my parents enjoyed the crisp morning walk by the lake which is also so close. Thank you so much for hosting my family and I. Definately reccomend staying at Kilpa Cottage.

Beautiful home! Such lovely interior and surprisingly warm! We loved all the activities and little homely additions. Very close to Tenterfield with the added benefit of farmyard privacy. Highly recommend!

If you are hunting for a place to stay in Tenterfield, do not hesitate to book this absolutely gorgeous property. Paul is the perfect host, and he has put so much love, care, creativity and passion into preparing this character home for guests, it truly was a privilege to stay here for 2 nights with friends. Paul has a true talent for curating stunning interiors and exteriors. This home could easily be featured in a high-end living magazine. The inside spaces are warm, cosy and inviting, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal, the bedrooms are fitted with luxe linen and the newly renovated bathrooms had plenty of hot water for all. There is also a fully functional laundry room complete with quality appliances and an ‘info corner’ featuring brochures n the local area. Art, books, eclectic found objects, ceramics and soft lamp light abound inside, and the visual treats continue when you step outside into the expansive garden. We will definitely be back! Beautiful, unique property! We loved the 12 sided yurt with windows and amazing views in all directions. The nights were cold but the heated blankets on the beds and the wood burner kept us cosy. Lovely bathroom with local Washpool toiletries that smelt great (so we went to the shop to buy more). Great spot for walks in the stunning Girraween National Park. We enjoyed watching the kangaroos bounce through the garden! Highly recommended.

Chelsea's place was beautiful, it's an amazing place to stay and had everything we needed for a few nights. It's very close to the main st in town and east walking distance to pubs, coffee shops, the wine bar and Coles. We asked Chelsea a couple of questions and she responded very quickly.

We had a great stay. The house was very wheelchair accessible, which was a big plus for our friend who joined us. Everything was clean and comfortable. Pippa was a warm and welcoming host, and very easy to contact when needed. The surroundings were beautiful, and we really appreciated the peaceful setting. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Wing Field Cabin! The highlight was definitely the stunning views and the abundance of wildlife – it was such a peaceful and refreshing escape from the city. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly friendly and made sure I felt welcome throughout my stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in nature!

Perfect place to stay to experience Stanthorpe and the surrounding area. The place is close enough to everything but loved being in the country. Such an amazing stay and would book again.

Not sure I can add more to the already glowing, unanimous 5-star reviews, except to say it's all true . Extremely generous hosts. Plenty of milk, eggs, coffee, assortment of teas, thoughtful touches (Easter chocolates!), a fire-set up and ready to light, heaps of extra fire wood. All these little details mean so much to me when many hosts can be a bit stingy with things like only supplying 200ml of milk, or 2 or 3 tea bags, making you pay extra for firewood etc etc. The cottage has a great kitchen so you really can cook up a big meal if you want, with pantry basics (oil, vinegar, vegemite, etc) all available. Great recommendations in the (very thorough) guestbook for dining out. Fascinating things to see and do nearby. Had the weather been entirely dreadful - it would have been just as lovely to stay inside and read by the fire or watch a movie. So idyllic it's almost too good to be true. Thank you Shelley and Chris for a really special stay - it's already calling me back.

An amazing place to stay! We had a great time. Highly recommended this place to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with beautiful surroundings.

We stayed for one night and arrived after 5pm, our keys and instructions were waiting for us. The lodgings were clean and in great condition. We loved the town centre and enjoyed some great wines at Stone Fruit (local food and wine bar) and a great breakfast at Bad Manners outdoor cafe. We would recommend.

Our family stay at the cottage was peaceful amongst the beautiful Granite rock surrounds. Debbie, Allan and furry friend 'Mate' gave us a warm welcome and helped us with our belongings before giving us a full tour of the cottage. The cottage itself is very cosy and has comfy plush beds and plenty of bedding for those frosty cold nights. Allan was kind enough to offer to light the fireplace if we required it. I would gladly recommend their place for a location not so far away from town with everything you need. I would love to return on another visit to Stanthorpe. Thank you for the wonderful stay. We only wish we were there longer!

This is one of our favourite places to stay. It is a hidden gem boasting style, elegance, and comfort. The beauty of the landscape & the thoughtful details in the cabin always leave us feeling deeply grateful & rejuvenated. This is a very special place close to two of the most gorgeous national parks. You will be warmly welcomed, and you may not want to leave!
