The house was spotless with plenty of room downstairs for us. The main bedroom was large and lovely with an ensuite shower/ toilet. The other 2 bedrooms were smaller but perfect for our needs. All beds were very comfy. The kitchen/diner was VERY well stocked with everything thing we could have needed. Lovely welcome basket with fresh bread and milk with some goodies too and a fresh bag of coffee. Lots of little thoughtful extras, like books, games, doggy items, beach towels and a fab record player! We loved sitting in the garden in the morning and evening. Hardly noticed there were neighbours as it was very peaceful despite being a residential area. We loved our stay and if back in the area would definitely stay again. Immaculately clean, lovely place to stay! We were only staying one night much to my 3 year old wanted to stay forever!!

We had a wonderful stay at Selby Cottage. The property was immaculately clean with lovely modern decor and lots of welcoming touches. Karen was a fantastic host, warm and friendly and hugely helpful and accommodating. Property is in a great location, easily walkable to all amenities in town. The outdoor space was lovely and an asset to have in sunny weather as forms a bit of a sun trap. The beaches at Alnmouth are only a 10 min drive away. Highly recommend a stay at Selby Cottage for visiting this beautiful part of the country and even better that you can take your pooch along!

We loved this place, it was perfect for our six year olds, they loved the garden, the spacious rooms and it was a great location to base ourselves while we explored to NE - we will be back xx

Perfect place to stay if exploring Newcastle and surroundings. Sandra had thought hard about what her guests might need and it was all available for us.

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was great and exactly what we needed, our host was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

We stayed for two nights in this lovely house. Full of quirky decorations from various parts of the world. The host rang us not long after check in to check we were all okay. Central location for what we needed. Will definitely book again

We had a fantastic stay here over the Easter weekend. Lynn and Louise are fantastic hosts always really responsive and went above and beyond in leaving an Easter welcome basket with treats for the kids. The caravan is clean and exactly like the pictures and description provided. We didn’t use the site amenities but the caravan is located close to the main entertainment centre and pool. It is only few mins walk down to the lovely large sand beach which the kids and dogs loved! Overall we had a great stay here and would happily recommend!

This is a lovely place to stay, in a quiet part of the countryside. Shared amenities, including games room, gym and pool, are excellent. The cottage itself is spacious and comfortable, with all the essentials we needed for our holiday.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

A wonderful weekend break at Swallowtails. The accommodation was tastefully decorated and extremely clean and comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Set in a beautiful rural surroundings and countryside walks. The local village has a couple of good pubs within easy walking distance and are dog friendly. Lots of great places to visit within a short drive. The hosts were extremely helpful and respond quickly to any queries. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

We had a lovely stay in Amble. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend the fish shack for a meal which is a 10 minute walk away.

Absolutely faultless. Beautiful caravan, grrat location for getting about, nice and peaceful. And litted out with everything you need and more! 100% wouod recommend.. thanks so much for a great break x

Just wow! We’ve just got back from a simply amazing stay at Pam & Richard’s beautiful cottage. Some highlights for us were: 1) the little touches from treats for the dog to home baking, we felt so well looked after 2) the beautiful surroundings, it was so peaceful, no photos can really do it justice 3) the cottage itself, the beds were so comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless and it had everything you need. Pam and Richard were just lovely, and whilst they’re just next door, they didn’t impose at all, we had some brilliant recommendations for walks and food. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you both! x

Fabulous place for peace and quiet. So close to the beach for walks with the dogs. Everywhere we walked to was really catered for dogs. Some great places to walk to on the beach. Accomodation warm and cosy just as described, host made you feel at home with nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be back.

My third stay at Nicks place was brilliant. Looking forward to going again soon.

Caroline is a fantastic host. Her home was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. Some lovely small details that make it extra special on arrival- welcome pack, well stocked (cleaning materials, dog throws and bowls etc). Fantastic location. We loved how peaceful it was at the cottage and the close proximity to the beach. We would definitely recommend staying at Paddy’s cottage and hope to be able to return there in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Hideaway! The location was perfect, and the cottage had everything we could possibly need. It was a bit more compact than we had pictured, but so thoughtfully laid out that it still felt cosy and comfortable. Packing and unloading weren’t entirely straightforward, but the option to park for free in the main car park or down by the river was a real plus, both were very convenient. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful riverside walks leading to the castle or the beach. The local pubs are delightfully dog-friendly, and everyone we met was so kind and welcoming. A big thank you to our host, Elaine, who was incredibly responsive and helpful, it made our stay all the more enjoyable. We're truly grateful for such a lovely experience!

The Beach House was a perfect stay, the beach was a 5 minute walk, the centre of Seahouses only a 10 minute walk. The area is so peaceful and tranquil with a lovely view of open fields. The house was perfect for 8 people so much room and everything you needed. The outside area again so peaceful and lovely out look. Would definitely return.
