Tara was easy to deal with and place was clean and tidy. House had plenty of room and an excellent outdoor area including a pool to relax and refresh. Would definitely stay again.

Really nice place with a lot of room. Photos were representative of the site. Easy access to the lake, Mangakino village, club and 4 square. Ilana was quick to respond when I couldn't work the dang stove top (induction top, not my specialty). Great little fire pit, the marshmallow roasting was a hit. Also, the corner section, with the deck facing the footpath makes it a nice social place to be. Had a chat or a wave to a few locals (heading to or coming back from the club!). Also, has great views of the rugby fields, where apparently a few different clubs practice. Overall, great place to stay, very clean and easy to use and helpful host.

We had an amazing time at the Joannes place. It is such a peaceful and relaxing location , I spent hours looking out at the view and watching the birds. Joanne also provided a bunch of complimentary treats which was a really nice touch to the stay. If you’re looking for an escape for reality this is the place to go! Look forward to coming back some day :)

Had a lovely stay with Whanau and the perfect spot to catch up. The spaces were huge with room for everyone and accommodated us all perfect So many amenities. The massage chair was a huge hit ! Hot tub fantastic Jennifer was excellent host. Loved the organic vibe with great recycling and Food scraps Orchards are amazing. Would not hesitate to recommend and especially return

Very beautiful location. A rustic but super comfortable space. The bed was brilliant and the house was lovely and warm, especially with the fire going! The fire heated outdoor bath was sensational and we loved relaxing down by river edge. We’ll be back!

The perfect place for our family holiday. With two under 5 and this being our first family of 4 holiday it was a great comfort to arrive and see they'd put out items to help the kids ease into the new space. A kiddy table and chairs, toys, books. The extra touch was really appreciated and helped the kids feel at ease right away. The place was spotless. Couldn't fault it.

A peaceful, private residence that is easy to find and get into, close to the city but very quiet rural area. Hot tub is perfect and the place very clean, tidy and new fittings. Bed is comfy with good quality sheets!

This self-contained unit was one of the nicest ones that we stayed at on our trip. Lots of space, nicely decorated and very clean. Katie greeted us when we arrived and she made a great restaurant recommendation. It’s located in a quiet residential area. Very nice.

The house was lovely and spacious and very homely. And we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved that the water was uv treated rainwater so no chemicals! It was a nice central spot to go to places like hobbtion, blue springs, tauranga and rotorua. The kids loved it there and I think we'd all be be keen to visit again sometime. It just made our holiday! Thank you so much!

Our big family had a great stay at Nathan’s place over the Easter weekend. There was lots to do including a hot tub, pool, dartboard, tennis court and games. Best yet, it is also home to lots of sheep and some chickens! During our stay we were able to enter the chicken coop and pick fresh eggs in the morning! Very lovely home and 100% would go back again.

We had a fantastic stay at Tony and Jeanette’s! The property was as expected from the listing photos and description. The property was modern, spotlessly clean and felt private. The surrounding area was beautiful and the property although not in a main town was accessible to shops for its rural location. My family and I will rebook when needed and look forward to returning. We had an amazing stay! The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — incredibly kind, caring, amazing baker! and accommodating, especially when my partner unexpectedly got sick and had to leave early. Communication was super easy from start to finish. The location itself is absolutely stunning, peaceful, and totally private — perfect for a romantic getaway. We’re already looking forward to coming back! this is a must stay in our books and recommend it to anyone wanting a break from life.
