Good location

A big apartment with plenty of amenities. It really feels like home. Communication with the host was as smooth as possible. Strong Wi-Fi signal everywhere. A great vacation place. The only issue for some is that it is far from everything, without a car, restaurants, groceries, etc. are in reality out of reach, at least with a small child.

We loved staying at Jill’s! She’s the sweetest and the room for perfect. She leaves snacks and the extra touches. Clean linens and towels. Bathroom is great has everything we needed.

Wanda was the absolute best! We’ve stayed at many places in Lynchburg over the years. The Acorn Hill Lodge will be our go to spot from now on. From the super amazing cozy king size bed, to the absolutely delicious made to order complementary breakfast to our pup being welcomed like a member of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Oh, and the spa!!! My daughter had the full body hot stone massage and was in heaven!! This place is a must!!

My stay was very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, although it is very high. The first couple of times I got up, I forgot to use the hand-built stairs at the end of the bed. Surprisingly, I landed on both feet! There are nicely placed plants and tons of interesting books, which added to the coziness of the bungalow.

My wife and I and our 12 year old Golden Retriever stayed at Helina’s place for one night. Helina was extremely pleasant and helpful, and gave us some good recommendations for dog-friendly restaurants in Lynchburg. The accommodations were very nice. Everything was extremely clean and organized. While our dog did not get to run around in the yard, he did enjoy walking around the neighborhood. We would be happy to stay here again, given the chance. Highly recommended!

We have traveled to Shennanioah area many times in the past, but this is, hands-down, our favorite Airbnb! the upstairs space is very roomy and will be plenty for four people! Michelle is very attentive and thoughtful host. She provided all the necessities, and even coffee and snacks. We are very appreciative of all the toys that Michelle provided for our son to play with. The back patio is also amazing, comfortable lounge chairs, a little playground for kids, beautiful view. We highly recommend the place!

I had an issue figuring out the lock and Colton immediately came down and showed me how to get in and out. He also took a second to just talk to me. be prepared to see some rad chalk art on the driveway!

We loved our stay at Susannas! We lived in Amherst for 9 years and came back to spend time with friends. This small apartment was a great inexpensive home base for naps and bedtime for our 4 young children. This place worked great, the children loved running around the spacious yard, climbing trees and playing on the hammock swing. It was beautiful and peaceful. Susanna even made the children chocolate chip cookies. We also brought our dog and Susanna’s dogs were very friendly and they all had fun playing together. We hope to come again!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay in Lynchburg! Quiet and beautiful, can't imagine another place to stay! Would stay again!!!

Newly renovated, clean, nicely decorated! Great place for our stay for a couple of nights. Off street parking all the way to the house was a plus for us. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely place to stay! Mary is so sweet and hospitable and the accommodations were just what the post described and perfect for my stay in Lynchburg.

A perfect private fully equipped apartment. Immaculately clean. You will love the backyard wooded area. Very much like a fully equipped cabin in the woods. The Lynchburg and surrounding areas have plenty to do. The host was amazing. Stay with Lori once and you will definitely want to return.

Our stay was wonderful, a lovely location, the accommodation had everything we needed and Doug and Chloe were perfect hosts!
