Enjoy the sunrise over a horse pasture, the sounds of nature, and the brightest stars in Virginia. Our Non-Functioning Family Farm is on the side of a mountain with fresh spring water. On the grounds you have a Hot Tub, Barn, Private Gym, Playground, Fire-pit, Hammock, Acres to Roam, Multiple Decks, etc. A quick ~10 minute walk to the Falling Rock Bridge on the Tye River for fishing, kayaking, tubing, or looking for Otters! Nelson lake has a boat ramp and public fishing just 5 miles away.

Secluded cabin close to VMI, W&L, and Lexington.

Our cabin was originally a grainery. We moved it to sit on a wooded knoll on our working sheep farm. Mornings can be spent relaxing on our front porch while watching lambs play. We offer a firepit and outdoor furniture to better enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.

Acorn Hill Cottage B (Lower Unit)

Acorn Hill has two cottage units available .. one upper with a king bed and one lower with a king and twin bed. (Note, this posting is for one of our cottage units and is not for one of the suites in the main lodge). Small pets welcome, additional charges apply (typically $25 per night per pet; discounts for longer stays; collected at time of stay). All stays come with a hot made-to-order breakfast in our restaurant. Bistro hours: Mon-Sat 6:30am-11:00am Sunday Brunch 9:00am-2:00pm

Beautiful home close to LU **New Updates**

A great family home that is perfect for gathering. There are three bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a king bed. The two guest bedrooms have 2 singles in each. A pack and play, as well as air mattresses are available. The upstairs has 2 full baths, and the main level has a half bath. Laundry is also available. Situated on a large 1 acre lot this is perfect for outdoor entertaining. Netflix and Hulu are available on two big screen TV's. Outdoor and indoor toys available.

The Old Parsonage in The Blue Ridge

The Old Parsonage is the perfect place to spend your get-away days. you can even work from this "home away from home". Acorn Hill in Lynchburg, Virginia, has an apartment which was built to accommodate larger groups and families. It is located next to our main lodge and on is the top floor of our Spa & Salon with a private entrance in the back. Small dogs welcome, additional fees apply (typically $25 per day per pet; discounts may be available for longer stays). All stays come with a made to order breakfast in our restaurant, the Bistro, located inside the main lodge.
