Enjoy the sunrise over a horse pasture, the sounds of nature, and the brightest stars in Virginia. Our Non-Functioning Family Farm is on the side of a mountain with fresh spring water. On the grounds you have a Hot Tub, Barn, Private Gym, Playground, Fire-pit, Hammock, Acres to Roam, Multiple Decks, etc. A quick ~10 minute walk to the Falling Rock Bridge on the Tye River for fishing, kayaking, tubing, or looking for Otters! Nelson lake has a boat ramp and public fishing just 5 miles away.

Lynchburg B&B Apt: Breakfast + Space for 7

Acorn Hill in Lynchburg, VA is a sprawling property with independent living spaces situated on nearly 10 acres. This listing is for our spacious apartment. It is located next to our main lodge and on is the top floor of our Spa & Salon with a private entrance in the back. Our duck pond is a short walk away. Small dogs welcome, additional fees apply - please inquire when booking. All stays come with a 30% discount on breakfast in our restaurant, the Bistro, located inside the main lodge.

Secluded cabin close to VMI, W&L, and Lexington.

Our cabin was originally a grainery. We moved it to sit on a wooded knoll on our working sheep farm. Mornings can be spent relaxing on our front porch while watching lambs play. We offer a firepit and outdoor furniture to better enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.

Lynchburg Cottage: Breakfast & Grounds Access

Acorn Hill has two cottage units available .. one upper with a king bed and one lower with a king and twin bed. (Note, this posting is for one of our cottage units and is not for one of the suites in the main lodge). Small pets welcome, additional charges apply (typically $25 per night per pet; discounts for longer stays; collected at time of stay). All stays come with a hot made-to-order breakfast in our restaurant. Bistro hours: Mon-Sat 6:30am-11:00am Sunday Brunch 9:00am-2:00pm

The Old Parsonage in The Blue Ridge

The Old Parsonage is the perfect place to spend your get-away days. you can even work from this "home away from home".
