This cottage has a bedroom featuring a queen size bed with an attached bath on the main level, as well as a bonus room upstairs with a full size sleeper sofa. Note that the only bathroom is off of the bedroom. This duplex cottage is one of 9 units at Cape Cod Cottages, with shared amenities including three Level 2 EV chargers, a laundry room and a game room with foosball and ping pong. It’s located directly on Big Stump Beach, with miles of sand in each direction. Waldport - a great location for crabbing and clamming - is just to the North - and the quaint town of Yachats, with tide pools and charming shops and restaurants is just to the South.

We are conventional grass seed and hazelnut farmers who live next door and farm on the property. This home is nestled in a mature hazelnut orchard further surrounded by grass fields. Bob Creek Studio is located 5 miles south of Yachats, on the Siuslaw National Forest. Explore Bob Creek and possibly spot its elusive river otter family, or stroll across the street to the beach to explore tide pools and catch the sunset. The area is abundant in scenic hiking trails and must-see spots such as Thor’s Well (2.6 mi), Cape Perpetua (2.9 mi), and the iconic Heceta Head Lighthouse (8.5 mi). At the Bob Creek Studio, you’ll discover why visitors find Yachats to be a magical place.

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.

3 miles from Wine Country (10 wineries within 20 mins) and 10 mins from downtown Eugene and the airport. Our lovely Bunkhouse was built for a quiet, peaceful retreat. All will enjoy the surrounding natural view, along with the various wild birds. On a lucky day the Spencer Creek Elk herd will make an appearance. Quick travel to fine food, great adult beverages, and Univ. of Oregon Ducks athletic events. Midway between the Coast and the mountains (1 hr each).

Unbelievable views from every window; even on a rainy day, you'll catch yourself frittering away the time staring up river, or at the surrounding coast range mountains. Truly heaven on earth. This is the place to get away from technology and reconnect with nature. The Cottage is one of three houses on the property - only grassy areas and river bank are shared.
