We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. Although not Sians issue, construction near the train station makes it difficult to get into town by taxi because you have to go around the city. However, if you don’t mind walking and bicycling, there are exceptional bike and walking paths right out to the house from Oxford. I’d stay again in a heart beat.

This was the perfect location for a few days of peace and quiet - utterly beautiful location, super views, and the hot tub just made it perfection. Even when the weather was a bit ropey there was the hot tub and that view to enjoy. Great hosts, lovely dog walks round about and so many interesting things to do in the area. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to return.

We had a lovely and comfortable stay at Liz's house. She has been very kind and really helped us enjoy our stay at her place. House was clean, communication fluent and the garden is amazing. Our kids loved playing the toys in the house

We had a lovely weekend with family! The setting is beautiful - Thames is at the bottom of the garden! Lots of great walking and country pubs.

Absolutely stunning place to stay, we didn't want to come home. Everything was so well thought out, so many helpful and lovely touches to make your stay enjoyable. The home itself was beautifully furnished, cosy, a dream little getaway. The games room was so much fun, the hot tub is pure luxury with a stunning view, we honestly couldn't have wished for more, would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back. Thank you Abi and family for sharing your wonderful farm with us for the weekend.

Lizzy's place was wonderful. We were only there for a weekend and I would love to go back for a longer stay. There was plenty of space and the hot tub was a bonus. The property is also close to some very pretty villages and towns - highly recommended!

I was greeted by the host, let in to the property ,showed around and free to ask any questions. host is very friendly, and approachable. We loved to be able to use their garden (my son played there football for a bit, we looked at the chicken and horses. Host also explained easily accessible forest behind their property-perfect for a walk with our pooch before we left. Kitchen has everything you need, bed is very comfy, bathroom was good too. Will return one day again. we loved our short stay, thank you.

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. It was just like the photographs, incredibly clean and had everything we needed for a brilliant weekend. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to the main part of the town. I would definitely recommend the cottage and Stow on the Wold , which is beautiful. We ate at the Bell which was fantastic and there are so many lovely cafes and shops within walking distance. We would love to visit again for longer next time!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Location was good for exploring the local area. Beware if you are tall, there are a couple of low doorways. Very comfortable stay.

My family loved our stay at Old Forge. Our children— aged 4 and 7– had a blast running around the yard and having their own secluded room on the upper level. We all enjoyed the rustic wildlife decor and the lovely view of the field. The cottage was cozy yet spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Make sure to get dinner at the local spot— The Golden Ball Inn! Stow was a very short drive away with plenty of nice shops and restaurants and a Tesco for our grocery needs. We didn’t end up getting a chance to walk the paths nearby, but we saw plenty of spots we could have done so— and with any luck someday we can return to Old Forge and get to walk around. I’d highly recommend Old Forge for anyone staying in the Cotswolds, esp with children!

Great location and easy to find with a lovely cafe and couple of pubs walking distance. The cottage was perfect, very clean, comfortable and private….thank you for the treats, loved the wine and chocolates! Plenty of options for dog walking and the private garden was secure for our dog, loved our stay and the Cotswold.

Very comfortable, clean and well provisioned cottage. We enjoyed our stay. Southrop is in a very peaceful corner of the Cotswolds. We enjoyed the Swan pub, local walks, Kelmscott and Chedworth. It's maybe worth knowing that there is a cottage right next door so you may see and hear people right by the windows that run along the back of the cottage and the Gardener has a base in the garage right outside the cottage doors which led to a lot of machine noise and dog barking on a couple of days - though this may have just been bad luck! The weekend was very quiet. Overall, it didn't detract from a very nice stay but I didn't quite realise from the house description.

Lovely stay at Tim's place with my hubby Lee and our pooch Huxley. The lodge was very peaceful, warm and comfortable. And the new railway sleeper bed is fab! Tim and his co-host Paulina were good hosts, we had one small issue with the wifi, which they worked to resolve very quickly. Lovely welcome items waiting for us, which was a great touch. I work in the area quite often and wouldn't hesitate to book Tim's space again in the future.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Beautiful home - as per the photos and listing. It was obvious that a lot of thought and care had gone into the set-up. Everything in the home is high-end with gorgeous beds bedding. Lots of local info provided which makes us want to return to explore more! Dog-friendly and well set-up. A great base for a few days of local commitments. Would highly recommend.

Miranda's cottage is very well situated and set up for doing as we did - enjoying the local area, taking advantage of hot summer days by the pool, and walking in the woods with kids. Highly recommended for families of 4 or even more if you're prepared to really use the space. My kids were very happy sleeping in the twin beds, and we were able to use every inch of the place.

The house was lovely, had everything you could possibly think of for a comfortable stay. We stayed with three kids (one baby) and it was just perfect. Our kids LOVED the pool (super warm and Just right for the kids) and the games room. The welcome basket was amazing and super generous- best gift ever!

Nicky was a great host and the house was very clean, well kitted out and a lovely relaxing place to stay. My girls loved the tennis court and we would definitely visit again.

Our second time at this gorgeous old cottage. Felt at home. So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful area with fantastic walks and pubs. Would highly recommend if you are looking to get away and want a traditional cottage to relax in.

The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

Lovely comfortable and spacious family house . Suzie the host was very friendly and obliging and made us feel very welcome in her beautiful home. Would definitely book again .

I’d like to thank gardener Rex for answering all my questions throughout my stay. Without you Rex, it could have been tricky to communicate. Anyway, I and my family had a good time at Christopher’s place. It’s a place for both peaceful break or active sporting time. Great garden for a calm walk throughout a day, great pool with a hammam(a steam sauna), a tennis court…my family really enjoyed all the facilities. Also kitchen was really well equipped and a welcome bread and milk were delicious! Location was also great. Famous Cotswold big name spots, restaurants, farm markets are within 20 min by car.
