Once we chat about how to responsibly and passively interact with turtles and other sea life, we will walk down to the beach and hit the water! We will take it nice and slow so you have a few moments to get accustomed to your gear and you feel confident enough to enjoy the underwater world. This is a natural sea grass bed, which is why we are blessed with turtles :) Please do remember, however, that this is a completely wild experience and we could never guarantee the sighting of a wild animal. 99 times out of 100 we see several baby and adult turtles per tour! With guided, professional instruction, you'll have a fun and creative time making an item out of clay on a pottery wheel. I will show you how to work with the clay, get it ready for the wheel, center it, and eventually start shaping. Usually students can make either a small bowl, plate, mug or vase on their first try. You will get up to 30 minutes of time on the wheel which is plenty to create one item, and then you can add accents to your piece i.e. handle and you'll get to handbuild for the remainder of the time (add accents to your piece). You can take the pottery home with you the same day you make them, or—if you'd like—I can fire your work, glaze it, and ship it to you for a small fee. Nuestra experiencia, comienza en nuestra comunidad, Chemuyil, donde nos prepararemos para nuestra aventura. Estamos ubicados a: - 25 minutos aprox. desde Tulum. - 40 minutos aprox. desde Playa del Carmen. - 2 hrs desde Cancún. Si no cuentas con auto o algún medio de transporte para llegar a mi comunidad, no te preocupes, con mucho gusto te explicaré la mejor forma de llegar a nosotros. En compañía de un guía local y en una bicicleta te llevaremos a conocer la selva y tres cenotes que nos han visto crecer, donde hemos aprendido a nadar y donde guardamos muchos secretos de nuestra vida. El desgaste físico en bicicleta es mínimo ya que pasamos más tiempo nadando que en la bicicleta. Durante toda la actividad pedaleamos aprox. 25 minutos en total. La distancia de cenote a cenote son aprox. entre 5-10 minutos. Esta experiencia dura un aprox. de 5 horas. Nosotros nos adaptamos al ritmo de cada grupo y a sus necesidades. Navegaremos en un cayuco por los canales más conservados del humedal de Xochimilco. Durante el recorrido, te contaremos sobre la historia del lugar y su importancia para la sostenibilidad de la Ciudad de México. En el camino, conocerás la riqueza biológica del sitio, como aves, serpientes, ranas y plantas. Arribaremos a una chinampa donde podrás ensuciarte las manos experimentando la técnica de cultivo ancestral y descubrirás por qué es considerada patrimonio de la humanidad. Además, te involucrarás en las actividades diarias de la chinampa como siembra, riego, cosecha y ensemillado de cultivos. Antes de regresar a tierra firme, tendrás tiempo de relajarte y disfrutar la paz del lugar. Este es un recorrido cultural que ayuda a promover el desarrollo comunitario del humedal.

Bienvenidos! El primer paso será mostrarte los ingredientes que puedes encontrar en los hogares oaxaqueños, una de las ventajas de nuestra experiencia es que contamos con un jardín con hierbas y chiles orgánicos. Elaboramos quesillo y queso fresco todos los días. Mi hijo Baldo compartirá su conocimiento acerca del mezcal, una cata en la cual podrás tomar degustar tanto como gustes, además de agua fresca, refrescos y jugos. Botanas? Claro que si, pero lo tienes que hacer al estilo oaxaqueño, lo que significa gusanos, chicatanas y chapulines. ¿Has escuchado algo sobre el metate y como se hacen las tortillas a mano? además de tortillas elaboraremos tetelas, memelas y tlayudas. Haremos diferentes salsas utilizando ingredientes de la temporada todo cocinado sobre comal, leña y brasas al carbón. El mole es un emblema de la cocina oaxaqueña y cocinaremos uno de los 7 moles utilizando el metate. No te puedes ir sin probar el mole negro, chocolate de agua, café de olla, nieves y un rico pastel. Todos participaran en los procesos, cortando, moliendo, elaborando salsas y por supuesto comiendo, recuerda cuando visitas una casa en Oaxaca tienes que venir con el estomago vacío. Live a true El Yunque rainforest experience with a local. Excellent for foodies and adventure fans. We visit 2 waterfalls and the famous waterslide. TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED. Adventure to pure rainforest and learn the history of its unique flora & fauna like iguanas, guava trees, bamboos and 300 year old trees. We drive to the East side of El Yunque Rainforest. On arrival we do a 30 minute hike to the first waterfall & watering hole. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water, and scenic waterfall. Further up, after a 15 minute hike (High difficulty level), there is another waterfall with a natural waterslide. We end the trip by stopping for lunch at a local family owned restaurant that serves authentic grandma style food (Food not included in price). The hike for these outdoor wonders requires regular shoes with “good grip” that can get wet and muddy. The trail is very muddy and clothes will get fully wet. NO FLIPS FLOPS OR CROCS ALLOWED. Safety is my priority and we will have a fun adventure to show you the authentic essence of Puerto Rico & secret gems of the rainforest. Good Physical Condition required. Hike can be challenging for participants that are not active or exercise regularly. Bring water, towels/change of clothes for a full day of fun and beautiful new experiences. Nos reunimos en el centro antiguo de puerto vallarta De ahi tomaremos un transporte público que nos llevará a mismaloya, un lindo pueblo en el sur de la bahia. Ahi nos bajamos a la playa donde nos embarcará la lancha para comenzar el recorrido por la zona protegida de Los arcos de mismaloya: 5 hermosas islas en una area maritima protegida. En las increíbles cuevas conoceremos la fauna del lugar entre otros la gran variedad de aves que viven en las islas. Después el capitán nos llevará a una zona especial y segura donde podremos hacer snorkel y conocer la gran variedad de fauna marina que habita en el lugar. Antes de regresar a vallarta hacemos una parada en el lugar iconico en la historia de la ciudad.
