Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

Schönes Erlebnis in ruhiger Lage wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Die Wohnung war sauber und gut ausgestattet, was unseren Aufenthalt sehr komfortabel machte. Seda war immer erreichbar und Hilfsbereit. Ich würde die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

It was truly impressive to book an apartment with Mohsum. Despite a conflict in the booking, his exceptional handling and flexibility were greatly appreciated. The altrnative given apartment or villa to me was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and situated in a peaceful area with a perfect location. A magical escape in the heart of historic Istanbul! Our stay at this Balat apartment was absolutely incredible. The flat was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything from a modern kitchen and smart TVs to air conditioning and central heating. The real highlight, though, was the 100 sqm terrace — the views of the sea, Golden Horn, and city skyline were breathtaking. Whether dining under the stars or relaxing in the cozy winter dome with a PS5, the space was perfect year-round. The location is unbeatable — just steps from the sea, tram, ferry, and steeped in rich history and charm. We loved exploring nearby sacred springs, churches, and local cafes. Communication with the host was smooth and everything matched the listing perfectly. Thank you for an amazing stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Gorgeous apartment in a fantastic location. We went to Istanbul to walk/explore and eat and this beautiful place was in a very quiet, yet central location. James was extremely helpful and gave us loads of recommendations which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place.

Very big and cozy space with all the amenities needed and a nice living room to chill and relax

This apartment is wonderful. Quite big and well decorated. The most important thing is the view and the easy way to go everywhere in the city from there. A TRAM station is in front of the building for the ones that do not like walking too much. The port is also in front of the building making it easier to go to the Asian part of the city. Will be back for sure. Istanbul is very safe and food spectacular.

I had an unforgettable stay in the heart of Cihangir, in a peaceful and elegant location. This place is not just an accommodation but truly feels like a second home in Istanbul. Every detail has been meticulously considered: a spacious and comfortable living area, the pleasure of a home cinema experience on a large screen, a bright and quiet neighborhood… Even the bed, pillows, and dryer have been carefully chosen with comfort in mind. For those working remotely, this place is also an excellent choice! There is a dedicated workspace where you can comfortably take care of your business. Sara, made this experience even more special. With her warm hospitality, excellent recommendations about the city, and attention to every detail from check-in to even sharing the local grocery store’s number, she truly made me feel at home. If you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed home in Istanbul, this is definitely the right place! I will definitely be back!

Eine schöne sehr zentral gelegene Wohnung mit Meerblick von der Terrasse aus. Nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt von Hagia Sofia und Sultanahmet Moscheen. Die Wohnung grenzt an die alte historische Stadtmauer und byzantinischen Palast der 1600 Jahre alt ist. Die Kommunikation mit Ali verlief einwandfrei. Wir hatten alles in der Wohnung was wir brauchten. Wichtig zu wissen, dass die Zimmern nicht groß sind und keine Türen haben, was wahrscheinlich einfach typisch ist. Zudem ist die Wohnung etwas hellhörig und in der Nähe verlaufen die Zugschienen. Uns hat das alles aber nicht wirklich gestört. Wir würden die Wohnung wieder mieten und weiter empfehlen. We had a very nice stay. Volkan replied immediately, gave clear self check-in instructions, and there was always 'staff' nearby who could come to the apartment within 15 minutes if we needed help. When our toilet didn’t flush upon arrival, someone came to fix it right away. When our toilet paper was almost finished, we received new rolls. The apartment is brighter than it appears in the photos, thanks to two street-facing windows. I had feared it would be too dark, but that wasn’t the case. The location (New European Quarter) is great—close to Galata Tower, Taksim Square (full of restaurants and shops), and fancy hotels like the Pera Palace, where Agatha Christie wrote Murder on the Orient Express. Do note that the area is noisy both day and night, and the flat is not well insulated against sound. Streetlights prevent full darkness, even with curtains. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs and a sleep mask. Bus, metro and train stops are 3-10 min away—leading to the 'Old city'.
