After 2 weeks of volunteering, this accommodation was great to come down and relax. The location was really great and Barbara was always on hand to help with recommendations, a bajaji etc. needed. It was a great end to our time in Zanzibar. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at Lulus' place. The house was clean and matched the photos. Place is a bit far from Stone town and any touristy activities but very close to the airport.

We had a great stay, lovely place, clean and nicely furnished, great pool, nesr the besch and the village. The host was very friendly and helpfull!

This was my third stay with Saidi in Fumba, and just like the first time, it was absolutely fantastic! Saidi is an exceptional host warm, welcoming, and always available to assist with anything needed. His hospitality truly makes you feel at home. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for a peaceful getaway. Whether it’s enjoying the serene surroundings, exploring the local area, or simply relaxing, Fumba is a great escape from the busier parts of Zanzibar. What keeps me coming back is not just the beautiful setting but also Saidi’s genuine kindness and attention to detail. He goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a great experience. Really nice place for a family of 4-5, place was close to many local things to do such as the beach being 8-10 minute walk, local restaurants that were a few minutes walk that were recommended and were really good and the items available for you to cook at Home utensils and such,Washer/Dryer to clean your clothes and the host was just responsive and kind !

Ottima vista, alloggio bello e nuovo, spazi esterni sull’oceano. L’unica pecca è che la location è in mezzo al nulla, ove non esistono nemmeno i servizi minimi. Comunque noi siamo stati molto bene

Charles/ Paul ist super nett und hilfsbereit, einfach ein ganz freundlicher Mensch. Zurvorkommend, auch wenn die Unterhaltungen auf Englisch manchmal etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig waren, er hat immer geholfen, alles gemacht wie besprochen. Sehr respektvoll hilfsbereit. Danke für die Hilfe beim Umzug. einzig allein, der Pool war nicht begehbar, das war etwas schade für die Kinder. Ansonsten top für das Geld.

Benard is truly a Superhost! From the moment i arrived, he made feel welcome and ensured i had everything needed for a comfortable stay. His attention to detail, communication, and hospitality were exceptional. The space was spotless and well-equipped, and his thoughtful touches made all the difference.

Die Anlage ist ein kleines Paradies und wird täglich gut gepflegt. Auch der Pool-Bereich ist wunderschön gestaltet und lädt zum entspannen & schwimmen ein. Die Wohnung ist schön geschnitten und für 2 Gäste völlig ausreichend, Terrasse und Garten sind ebenso sehr schön und gepflegt. Die Küche ist insgesamt gut ausgestattet, ebenso das Bad, hier fehlt jedoch eine Ablagefläche in der Dusche selbst. 2 Tipps am Rande: 1. für die Spülmaschine gibt es kein(e) Tabs/Pulver/Salz. Wer nicht selber spülen möchte, bringt sich am besten Tabs mit, da das vorhandene Pulver für Waschmaschinen ausgelegt ist und das Geschirr nicht richtig sauber wird. 2. Wir empfehlen Kaffeetrinkern sich einen Expressekocher oder eine Frenchpress mitzubringen, da keine Maschine vor Ort ist;-). Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, da wir uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt haben und die Vermieter sehr fürsorglich und freundlich sind. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung wunderschön und preislich fair vermietet.

Our stay was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, making us feel like we had stepped into a boutique hotel. The space was impeccably clean, thoughtfully decorated, and filled with little touches that made it feel like home. The amenities rivaled those of a high-end hotel. Yet, there was also a homely charm: a cozy living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and amazing service with local tips that made the experience extra special. The attention to detail and responsiveness made everything seamless, from check-in to check-out.

I recently stayed at this lovely apartment near Stone Town, and it was an incredible experience! The location is perfect—close enough to explore the historic Stone Town but situated in a quiet and peaceful area, which made for a relaxing stay. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of room to unwind after a day of exploring. It had everything I needed for a enjoyable trip. The host was absolutely wonderful! They were very responsive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Zanzibar. The combination of a great location, spacious and comfortable accommodations, and an exceptional host made my stay unforgettable. I’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Absolut schöne Unterkunft. Die Galerie ist etwas sehr besonderes und die Umgebung sehr ruhig und sicher. Markus hatte viele Tipps auf Lager und er hat alles organisiert, das ich nachts einchecken konnte. Ich bin sehr dankbar dass ich so sanft landen durfte in meinem ersten Aufenthalt in Afrika. Loved Stefania’s cozy place right in the heart of StoneTown near both Emerson hotels. Loved to hear the neighborhood kids playing outside - it was the sound of unbridled joy. While western kids are labeled as ADHD because their parents want to give them drugs to be quiet, these kids are allowed to be free to release their energy and just be children. Loved all the friendly faces around. It was lovely. Thanks to Stefania as well as her helpers, Sara and Rama!! Great team!

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Saidi war immer da, sei es Stromausfall oder Fragen zum Umgebung gewesen. Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben, die Zimmer waren nicht hellhörig und die Küche hatte die Basics die man braucht. Die Waschmaschine war ein großes +. Zur Unterkunft zu kommen war zu beginn nicht ganz so einfach, aber nach ein bis zweimalen findet man den Weg sehr einfach. Betten waren bequem und die Zimmer waren sauber.

very hard to find. the best is if you put feza school in to google maps. the apartment is around the corner. otherwise the apartment is very nice and clean. we also loved the pool. hope to come back one day

Boris and Olga's place is a little slice of paradise. I had the sea view room and loved chilling out on the balcony looking out at Mmemba island. The accommodation is brand new and has been designed/decorated to ensure that the stay feels very much like a home away from home. However, there are restaurants very close by so the choice of eating out or preparing your own meals is there. It's just a short walk from the incredible Matemwe beach and on top of that, Boris and Olga are wonderful hosts. Can't speak highly enough of the stay!
