Bev is a wonderful host, and the cottage was exactly what we needed while we were visiting my parents nearby. Check-in was very easy, and the cottage was impeccable and well-appointed. We had everything we needed, and a short walk to beautiful Higgins Beach to boot! We definitely plan to visit again.

Wonderful place with exceptional hosts. The layout was perfect for our group of two adults and two kids. Easy 2 min walk to the beach. We all agree the best food we had on the trip came from the restaurant and shop downstairs and the best way to start our day was with a homecooked breakfast at Tami Lyns place. We hope to make this our yearly spot and would highly recommend and come again.

Cozy and conveniently located! The perfect hidden gem right under your nose! Great trails, only a short drive to the coast with plenty of local eats! John was very responsive and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend!

Hilary was great. We watched the tide roll in and out. It is a quick drive to Portland downtown for restaurants, ferries, and strolls. Walked and ran in our neighborhood as well. Clean and neat.

The place was beautiful and the hosts were great! It was the perfect distance to be walkable to the pier, but far enough away so we had peace and privacy. Overall I highly recommend Tami’s place!

We really enjoyed staying at Shelli's Dream Catcher guesthouse. Access to a beautiful beach almost directly across the street, and great views of the marsh directly out of the back windows. The place was clean and well laid out. Shelli was responsive and gave us an unexpected early check-in. Sunsets and sunrises were awesome. We stayed in late October, so I believe some of the restaurants within walking distance were closed at this point. Still, it's a great location in Wells, and only a short drive from area restaurants, shopping and other locations. We would recommend Dream Catcher at the Beach!

It was a wonderful stay. Build a camp fire, enjoy the surroundings and if you are asked if you’d like to join the bonfire or see some chickens, don’t be shy.

A truly wonderful stay! The space was spotless, stylish, and felt like a home away from home. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making my trip smooth and comfortable.

Heather was a great host - very communicative with a simple check in/out. The guest house was nice, featuring a waterfront view. While not too far from Portland, it is about 20 minutes which is worth considering if you like to come and go a lot. The guesthouse was a quiet, peaceful place to end each of the days of our stay!

We had a great weekend stay at Hilary’s cottage. Great location with an easy walk to Dock Square and super peaceful. We also brought our infant and there was plenty of space for a pack and play. Would definitely stay again!

We adored the Heron's Nest! The pictures cannot capture the charm of this place. It was the perfect size for the two of us and offered everything we needed. All spaces and amenities were not only clean and comfortable, but well thought out. It seemed that every detail for guests' comfort is considered. Mary Ellen and Walter were extremely communicative and welcoming. We loved the backyard view and we would definitely stay at the Heron's Nest again!

The cottage was just as described if not better upon arrival. It was perfect for a holiday couples getaway with our pup. Extremely cozy and warm with the fireplace and the property was great for a good walk with our dog. The kitchen was pristine and well stocked for a dinner in. Antonio provided great recommendations around town for both restaurants and beaches even in the winter. Would definitely book again, especially in the warmer months to take advantage of bikes and beaches gear in the shed.

Cozy, clean, great bed, good shower. We came at Christmas when it was quite cold and were thus able to access the walking trails out in back of the property without fear of ticks. Lots of small thoughtful touches and beautiful poinsettias to welcome us. Phoebe and Nathan responded immediately to our queries. Easy check-in and we felt safe. The property was quiet. Very nice stay.

Wonderful host, comfortable bedding and cozy quaint house! It snowed and George even plowed the sidewalk, steps and driveway for us. Will definitely be back when we come to visit our son and his family!

We had a terrific time in Maine and by far, this was the best! The apartment was clean, beautiful, peaceful and cozy. It was close to fun shops and wonderful cafes and restaurants!! Not to mention, the close proximity to Perkins cove and Ogunquit town/beach! Tessa and John were wonderful hosts, very responsive and kind! Looking forward to visiting again!!!!

As good as it possibly gets !! Living space was just superb, welcoming hosts, location gave us a wonderful Maine coastal experience. Lovely space & views to match. Family hosts became our friends, quite special people ! Thank you.

Awesome place, very nicely furnished, bed was super comfortable (thats important when its not your own bed!) Austin and Renee were very nice people, responsive and very helpful..plus, my dog LOVED the front yard, she was so joyous when we were outside...it was a big plus for her and i to have that run around safe space for her. Will definately be back next time i come up for work!!! Awesome hosts!

This is a clean, well kept and comfortable place to stay. It is a very short walk to the beach and many of the windows in the front have at least a partial view of the ocean. I would recommend it to anyone.

Our stay at this Airbnb was truly exceptional. Joan and Andy are incredibly welcoming hosts who go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home. The property itself exceeded our expectations in every way—beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. We were more than satisfied with our experience and are already planning to make this our go-to spot for future trips. We genuinely can’t wait to come back. Rest assured, you'll be in great hands and can look forward to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. If I could give them more than five stars, I absolutely would.
