Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

We also feature free WI-FI and a Roku T.V. -watch from the living room or master bedroom. We have spacious parking and a nice lounging area out back. We are 17 miles from the Dragon ,Highway 129 and we only a mile away from the AT. We have Satellite Internet so be prepared for Wi-Fi calling. Driveway is loose gravel up hill.

With two living rooms, large outdoor deck, and nearly 1.5 acres, there is no shortage of space to spread out. This home is nestled just a short drive up the mountain from Fontana Village resort/marina and 10 miles from the Tail of the Dragon. It includes a carport and is easily accessible by paved roads and a circular paved driveway.

It’s a short drive to the the Smoky Mountains, Cherohala Skyway, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Tail of the Dragon. The house is located 3 miles from the Appalachian Trail. WE NOW HAVE WIFI!!! No RVs allowed.
