We had a really nice stay at this bungalow/chalet “The Dell”. The location was peaceful and quiet, which made for a very relaxing break. The property itself was lovely, with a particularly nice big bathtub. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we appreciated the few essentials left for us on arrival. The open-plan kitchen and lounge were spacious, making it easy to host a casual lunch with family. The outdoor space was also a great bonus, with a lawn and patio furniture to enjoy the sunshine. The children enjoyed the safe space. The property was easy to find thanks to the clear instructions provided. Overall, a good stay in a lovely, quiet setting! We’ll be booking again

Vikki-Jo was attentively welcoming with the most efficient responsiveness we've experienced on Airbnb. The cabin was roomy, rustic and perfect for us. The hot tub toasty warm and spotless. We had a little spider friend in the shower room who popped his head out to say hi occasionally, but we liked them. It was totally private away from the main property and everything was as described. The whole stay was a perfect experience from the moment we booked right up to the moment we left. This is how Airbnb should be done. A true 5 star experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I think it was competitively priced for a stay with a hot tub which we enjoyed after walking around Colchester Zoo all day. Thank you Vikki-Jo for our wonderful stay 💐

This is a beautiful cottage in an outstandingly enchanting location. Linda was a great host who stayed in touch and checked in on how we were getting on. There were so many thoughtful touches which were very much appreciated and over and above what we expected. The cottage was so well equipped, everything has been carefully thought through. A welcome hamper with luxury teas, coffees and local produce. Every appliance you could ever wish for and lots of things to do. We had a magical stay. We will definitely return and recommend to our friends.

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we booked until after we left. Beautiful little touches like delicious fresh eggs from their chickens, milk, butter, jam, biscuits and a range of hot drinks etc. It felt spacious, the interior (and exterior) was beautiful and comfortable, the log burning stove was lit for our arrival ( Sharon messaged to ask if this is what we wanted) and all instructions before we arrived and in the house were clear and most helpful. We felt we had our own space, yet there was always friendly helpful advice on hand. We couldn’t have wished for more. Thank you Sharon.

We had a gorgeous 3 day stay at the Fysh Bowl in absolutely idyllic surroundings. The stand out for us was the walled garden where we retreated to every afternoon. We enjoyed the various local walks and easy access to Bures village. Would definitely return in the future.

Absolutely beautiful cottage which was peaceful and so homely and comfortable. We wanted somewhere peaceful to go for walks and just relax. This place was perfect. Elizabeth was so helpful before our arrival with an idea of a walk to a lovely pub for lunch. She responded to any questions and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Will definitely be going back!
