Stayed for new year , hot tub was great once warmed up , weather was awful but still had an amazing time , would definitely recommend and would go again maybe with the grandkids

We booked this as a family trip for three for Easter. We arrived and found the property easily by following the instructions sent. There is one car parking space provided which was a decent size, we have previously had issues with tiny air bnb spaces. Easy access as there is a key pad on the door. The property itself matches the pictures, is clean and has a well equipped kitchen. Beds were comfy so was the sofa for sitting watching tv. The only criticism I could make is that some of the ceilings are low for me at 6ft 2 so watch your head haha. The hosts were great and communicated well and the location is absolutely spot on, walking distance to bars and restaurants and a short drive to the zoo and Cheshire Oaks. Would highly recommended!

Our short stay at Fox Cottage was amazing. The property is beautiful, spotless and comfortable. The views are spectacular! Andrew was a great host, very responsive and helpful and we really appreciated the very kind welcome hamper! Loads to do and see and there were even toys for our young son to play with! We loved it so much we’ve booked for next year!

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Mary's place! The cottage is just as described and in a beautiful and peaceful location. All of the instructions Mary provided were easy to follow, and while we didn't meet in person, Mary was communicative and available if needs be. We hope to return again soon!

A beautiful cottage, with a charming layout, making the most of the fantastic views. We could have sat watching the views for hours and were only sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy the terrace! It was well appointed and felt very homely. We loved how convenient it was for walking into Matlock Bath (only 5 minutes) with its fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours, amusements and lovely riverside walk and 2 play parks. What a great location for us as a family and it was very handy to be able to leave the car at the house and walk to the cable cars for the Heights of Abraham. We appreciated the milk and tin of chocolate biscuits. One tip for anyone who visits is to park at the top of the house, and not take the car around to the front of the house to save having to reverse up the steep hill as the road at the bottom has now been cordoned off. Brilliant place for a re set if thats what your looking for as we were. Outdoor bath was amazing, views beautiful, canin really cute and comfy. Firepit was lovely too. The other 4 cabins are closeby but you do manage to get your privacy. Dont hesitate its fab!!

Pamela was very helpful when we I needed to communicating with her. The cottage was beautifully clean and perfect for a long weekend with family. Thank you so much again.

We have had such an amazing stay. The hut is just stunning, very clean and welcoming and the little added touches chocolates ,Prosecco, fresh milk in fridge just made all the difference so thank you. We have had such an amazing relaxing stay so peaceful and private. The hot tub was lovely. Local restaurant walking distance and service and food great. We will definitely be returning soon and have already recommended to friends. If you are after a nice relaxing break then this is it.

Ally & Simon are incredibly great & helpful hosts. Their accommodation is absolutely spot on, clean & modern. Beautiful garden and the whole house. Definitely recommend staying there, very close to the town centre, great location. Parking spot in front of the house. We will be definitely coming back. Thank you for having us & the support on marathon. Definitely people that they care about their guests & their place.
