Relax in this peaceful location. Hemingbrough is a small village with easy access to York, Leeds and Hull. The village has a pub which is within easy walking distance as well as local shops. There is a farmshop nearby which sells good Yorkshire produce to take away and also has a restaurant. York is 20 minutes away with its impressive Minster and other attractions including 2 theaters. A number of historic houses are close by which makes the Annexe a perfect base for exploring the local area.

Annex has one bedroom, downstairs is the dine-in fully equipped kitchen and downstairs toilet, first floor has the lounge and third floor has the bedroom and bathroom with bath & shower. The annex is in Selby close to A1 and M62. Thirteeen miles from York. Good train links from London, York and across the Pennines. Good bus to York and Designer Outlet park and ride. Come and be part of our welcoming village for the weekend or maybe even a week. We are convenient for the wedding venues of the Oakwood at Ryther and Deighton Lodge, Deighton. No.3 is next to No. 4, our sister property and can be rented together to accommodate up to 8 guests. Please note there is no parking at the cottage but on street parking is available close by.

There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.

The Gables is a 3 bedroom Edwardian villa in a quiet part of Tadcaster, ideally situated between York (9 miles) and Leeds (14 miles) and close to many popular wedding venues. Holidaymakers and workers are equally welcome. Parking is on the lane right outside. For those wanting to visit York, the Park and Ride at Askham Bar is 10 minutes away and a better option than parking in York. The Gables is not wheelchair friendly.
