Lovely, quiet, tranquil and beautiful place. Situated right next to a huge beautiful mangrove lagoon which is amazing for kayaking. A 10minute walk from the best beach I saw whilst in Sri Lanka, very wide, sandy and clean, 2ith very few people on it and just a few bars. The water here is wonderful, soft waves and great for swimming. Not great for kids to swim in as there isn't much shallow water. The vibe at the accommodation is super chilled and informal and we were made to feel extremely welcome and at home. We would most definitely come back here, one of the highlights of our trip for sure. .

We were so happy that we booked our stay at Shehan's. The accommodations had everything you needed. After travelling around Sri Lanka for 2 weeks prior to our stay at Shehan's we enjoyed how well appointed the room was, there was nothing that we would have changed. Loved that there was a mini fridge, robes and dedicated space for luggage. The care and attention that we were given was exceptional. There were so many special touches that Shehan provided that it is hard to remember them all. Some of the highlights were the scented cold clothes and juice provided at check in, the hot coffee after a wet safari, the home made snack provided when we checked out, the great conversation, etc. The grounds are well kept and we enjoyed spending time at the quiet beach that was just a short minute walk away (you can hear the waves from the villa). And finally, the food was exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed every meal that we had. Thank you Shehan for everything!

Super freundlich und sehr angenehme Gegend. Hatte das Apartment im ersten Stock. Man hat seine Ruhe, kann abschalten und hat einen schönen Ausblick auf Palmen im Garten. Zu Fuß ist man in 5 Minuten am Strand und kann dort direkt die Schildkröten beim schlüpfen sehen. Für den Preis und die Leistung echt top in dieser Gegend! Empfehle ich gerne weiter :)

We booked a family room with Sajan and everything is nice. Bathroom is super spacious, hot water works instantly. Amenities are all good: iron, hair drier, clothes racks are available upon request. Good wifi connection. There is also couch and patio for guests to use. Sajan also prepared us to-go breakfast with coconut at 5am when we leave for safari. Cleaniness is satisfactory . I'll recommend guest to live here.

Such a magic and breathtaking place on earth. The house is quite simple but fresh with separate bedrooms with separate doors. But what a location. Your private paradise beach but with restaurants and small nice hotels as neighbors. Tangalle town is small, friendly and with amazing restaurants. Quite and genuine. To the left you have long beaches with sea turtles. To the right more friendly to swim. The ocean is so close and the only surprise was how roaring the Tangalle coast ocean is. Bring earplugs plugs for better sleep. But all worth it waking up walking two meters and tipping the toes in sand. In your own private villa. We were a family of four and enjoyed the bedrooms, bathrooms en suite and cosy balcony and outdoor terass.

Sunimal and his team are just great. We spent there two nights. Also for our safari trip early in the morning his amazing team provided us a Lunchpaket for the trip. The restaurant at the resort is delicious. Every meal we got was super delicious. The pool area has an amazing view on the lakeside where we watched monkeys, buffalos and a lot of birds. We were also able to join a peacock party up in the trees in the evening ;) The team organized us an transfer to our next stop. We highly recommend sunimals place with his amazing staff. Thanks for all!

We spent a wonderful evening at the campsite. Our three kids (7, 5 and 3) absolutely loved it and made some great memories. Everything was well organised! Be prepared with your mosquito spray when sitting outside in the evening but not an issue when sleeping as the mosquito nets provided were effective. Great breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the safari as well.

Der Aufenthalt in der Villa von Lalith war das Highlight unserer Reise. Wir verbrachten hier eine Woche. Wer auf Ruhe, Privatsphäre und einsame Strände steht, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Wir waren begeistert von der Lage, denn der Strand ist unmittelbar durch den gepflegten, großen Garten zu erreichbar und wirklich wunderschön. Teilweise sind uns hier den ganzen Tag keine anderen Menschen begegnet. Wir fanden das Meer toll zum Schwimmen, man sollte aufgrund der Wellen und Strömung nur nicht zu tief hinein gehen. Die Villa ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so benötigt und noch mehr (z.B. Boogieboards). Lalith war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns nützliche Tipps gegeben, außerdem hat er auch zwischen dem Housekeeper (der kein Englisch spricht, aber auf dem Gelände wohnt) und uns vermittelt. Wir fanden es toll, dass dieser uns jeden Tag frische Kokusnüsse gegeben hat. Aufgrund der Abgeschiedenheit sollte man sich gut selbst versorgen, fussläufig sind aber auch ein paar Restaurants
