We absolutely loved our stay at the nest. The setting was perfect for a relaxing couple days for our family. Fishing, kayaking, hot tubing and walking. Jennifer was a great host ! Definitely recommend !!

Beautiful and easy little cottage, lovely porch with wonderful big swing to nap on with the pup, luscious huge lawn to feel space and privacy, and absolutely beautiful lake view, easy rock step into shallow section to launch our floaties and Wayne’s paddle boards. Easy living with picnic table and great Weber grill, and second small fridge in the boat house. A keeper!

What a stunning lake house- we had such a wonderful relaxing time. The place is even more beautiful than the pictures. Stayed three nights and could have stayed many more. Well equipped kitchen so we could cook for cozy nights in. Super comfy bed and sofa and lounger chairs to sit and read outside- even went for a kayak and swim which was great fun. Hope to be back one day soon.

Stayed the weekend for a nearby wedding - perfect space for us to be together outside of the festivities. FOR AWARENESS: not detailed in the listing - there is a tenant that lives above the garage, that’s connected to the house. Although they were rarely seen, we could hear them while we were in certain areas of the house. Also, a friendly reminder that two of the bedrooms feature full beds and doesn’t always sleep 2 people comfortably. Overall, great house in a great location!

Tonya's home was beautiful, relaxing, and very clean!!! The king bed mattress was hard but very comfortable. The area was very peaceful and relaxing. The lake looked beautiful however the weather wasn't conducive for us to use it. I would love to return when the weather is warmer to be able to enjoy the fire pit and boats that Tonya made available. My daughter and I brought our 14 month old with us and the house was perfect and safe for her to run around and play.

Our trip was during the end of March so the temperatures were less than ideal, however, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone else.

This was our second time to stay. It had a gorgeous view surrounded by beautiful trees. It was so peaceful and relaxing with everything we needed. James is so easy to work with and very responsive. Highly recommended!

We booked this reservation for a calm, relaxing weekend, and that’s exactly what we got! John and Lisa thought of everything, all the convenience of a hotel with the comfort of being home. Very clean and accessible owners. Not to mention, the views by the water were perfection!

The place was very clean and comfortable. The amenities were great - there was coffee and supplies for it as well as some bottle water in the fridge. The place was quiet and clean and in a good location. Sean communicated well with us and we had a nice time.

Kevin is a great Host - very responsible and accountable. We fully enjoyed staying his place. He was always willing to help while needed. The AirBnB is clean and has full of required amenities. We left some stuffs while checking out, he communicated quickly and shipped it out very fast. I highly recommend to stay at his place at East Lyme, CT.

This was our 2nd stay at Andrea’s place. Very peaceful and convenient location for our visits to Connecticut. We come to visit family but the small river towns like Deep River offer much to do and excellent restaurants to boot. We highly recommend Andreas property!

We had a grate time at Denys lots of room for us all we. Had a large group we love. All the wood work on the main floor just lovely thank for allowing us to have extended stay that was soooooo convenient for us. Not many Airbnb offers it.😌 again thanks and much blessings 🙏

My stay was AMAZING! You can really see and feel how the host took time to make the home cozy and beautifully detailed. It was mind blowing to see how every part of the home was utilized without feeling cramped or cluttered. Definitely a great place for friends to come together. I was shocked to see how well the entire home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host provided superb comfort and convenience. Pictures do no justice for this zen home, you have to experience it in person. If you’re looking for a tranquil and beautiful place to visit; LOOK NO FURTHER!

The cabin was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. One of the things we appreciated most was the detailed binder the owner provided—it included a map of the property, local tips, and great information about all the activities available right on site. It made exploring super easy and fun. We especially loved kayaking with our friends—it was such a peaceful and memorable part of the trip. Between the beautiful surroundings, the well-equipped cabin, and the thoughtful touches throughout, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy, activity-filled, and well-cared-for place to stay!

This was the ideal location for my husband and me to spend the holidays with our family who live across the lake. Will and John gave us a warm, friendly welcome and Quinn also checked in to make sure we settled in and had everything needed for a comfy cozy stay. It was easy to communicate with everyone and the location felt peaceful and private but not isolated. I can't imagine a more ideal experience and cannot thank Quinn enough for making this stay the best ever we've had with Airbnb!

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the location was beautiful. We stayed for a few days and celebrated our early family Christmas here. It ended up snowing, which made the surrounding Connecticut forest even more beautiful. We found the cabin cozy and peaceful, with the town just 10 minutes away for anything we’d need. I definitely plan to keep this listing in mind for next time I’m visiting family in Connecticut.

We had to come to the area for a family funeral, so this was a last minute booking, and Nicole was just the best. She got us in quickly, with less than 24 hours' notice. The house is absolutely beautiful, and overlooks the equally beautiful Oxoboxo Lake. Would recommend this house to anyone needing to stay in the area. Thank you Nicole!

As everyone else noted, what an AMAZING find! A truly beautiful location that has you saying “wow” from when you first step inside. The place had everything you could ask for and we felt like we were at home. I would certainly come back again and I completely understand why she is booked out through the summer. What a lovely area and easy access to so many towns and attractions.
