The neighborhood is quiet and down-town Wasilla is only a mile away and connected by sidewalks or bike trails. Venture to Hatcher's pass for picturesque hikes or to the Iditarod headquarters to mush with the huskies. There are many lakes nearby, fine cuisine, parks and other entertainment.

Close to the Wasilla Airport, Menard Sports Center and Parks Hwy, perfect for all the tournaments and shows at the Menard. Great place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. Kayaking and boating on Willow Lake with several fishing spots in the area. Deshka River, Willow Creek. Gas, food, medical, churches. A great spot year round!

Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your use and it’s located a mere 50 yards from the cabin. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.
