Chestnut Cottage was an absolute dream. It was a gorgeous location with adorable lambs to see at the time of our stay. The home itself was so clean, felt spacious for it's size and picture perfect. It was a joy to stay here and would definitely stay again. Kate and Rob were lovey hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Totally recommend this stay. 10/10

This is a great place to stay . Catherine, the host was superb . Really helpful when I asked questions, and always replied promptly . The accommodation is great , with an AGA cooker , log stove , and a very comfy bed ! The lane to get there is very narrow, but you soon get used to it. We will be back !

Spent a relaxing Easter weekend at this cottage. It’s in a lovely peaceful spot, with lots of birdsong and occasional cockadoodle doos! Julia was very friendly and helpful and even offered us the use of their games room because the weather was wet. Very thoughtful although we didn’t take up the offer in the end. Would recommend if you want a peaceful stay in the countryside.

Had a great weekend over Easter at Jan’s place - a beautiful garden - the kids loved the trampoline and pool - we cooked BBQ outside our Accomodation kin the peaceful garden - had great fish and chips and a cider in Watchet - the nearest harbour town (10 min drive) - we also visited from the house; quantock hills (15 min drive) killer beach (15 min drive) minehead (40 mins) and linmouth - beautiful drive over Exmoor. Would definitely come back

Perfect weekend away in a little slice of heaven. The cottage itself was beautiful, clean, quiet and had all the facilities you could possibly want. Waking up every morning to birdsong and the sound of horses whinnying was a particular highlight. The grounds were beautiful and Amanda (and her family) were incredibly welcoming when we did meet them. A beautiful weekend and next time we are in Somerset, we’d love to return

Had an amazing last minute stay in the cosy shepherds hut, just what we needed after a stressful few weeks!

I really recommend this beautiful property; we had a fantastic few days. The outside area is really pretty and the surrounding area beautiful. We enjoyed a couple of great walks in the Quantocks, a real mix of woodland, moor, beach and hills. Everything was clean, comfy and relaxing. A lovely property.

What a beautiful place! I love everything about it and would go back many times! Was not too far from the centre and not to forget the lovely scenery. Sam showed us the mill and it was much appreciated! If we are allowed we will come back take care sacha and Andy xxx
