Finding a affordable place to stay to visit Charleston at a affordable price is extremely difficult. That is what I discovered. You can either get scalped downtown paying thousands - maybe a night - for a mediocre hotel, or take a chance to get a vrbo or airbnb close to town and get junk house in a slum neighborhood. I had to go to a wedding. So did other family members. I tailored my search for highest guest ratings and this property came up. Yeah it took 30 minutes to drive to town. but again - anything closer was a slum or a 1000+ a night in town. I was pleasantly surprised. This property is a older ranch in a middle class neighborhood that has been COMPLETELY remodeled - and I mean COMPLETELY. New appliances, new flooring, new paint, the furniture may be original but it was comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and it was easy to travel to the city and easy to get back. My other family members picked a airbnb rental in Mt Pleasant - spent $3000 on a dump.

This was hands down the best AirBnB experience I have ever had! I arrived late and the house was all lit up. Colleen left personally touches, like fresh flowers and delicious pecan and coconut cookies. I even had a little gift waiting for me. The house felt like home. Cozy. Cute. Comfortable. Any question I had, Colleen answered right away. Great suggestions on restaurants and things to do. I, honestly, wished I could have stayed linger.

Mark and Vivian thought of everything. Wonderful experience. Great Hosts. We felt right at home. It was perfect for our two families. Quiet neighborhood. Amazing views. Easily accessible to great restaurants nearby.

Our stay was amazing! There were more amenities that we didn’t even have an opportunity to use, such as the gas grill on the balcony. The neighborhood is a great place to walk with family and very state of the art playground very close by in park circle. Everything was just as described. Even a baby gate to protect the little ones from falling down the stairs. Would definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for somewhere to get away and relax look no further. This place was amazing, Me and wife booked a couple days for her birthday and we loved it. The views were beautiful as described but even better in person. The location is great too as it is only about 20-30 minutes from downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. Amy was super accommodating, friendly, informative and a great eye for art. We will definitely stop in again when we are back in the area.

The host provided great recommendations for local spots to check out, from restaurants to hidden gems around the city. The house itself was absolutely charmingThe décor was stylish yet cozy, and every room felt like a retreat. I especially loved the outdoor patio – perfect for sipping morning coffee or unwinding after a day of exploring the city. Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for a better spot! It was within a short driveing distance of historic landmarks, charming boutiques, and some of the best restaurants in Charleston. At the same time, the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, providing the perfect location

My husband and I loved this place on Goose River Reservoir. I picked it because it was on the water. It was peaceful and relaxing on the enclosed back deck. It is close to great stores and eateries. About 20minutes to Charleston and Mt. Pleasant. There is plenty for kids to do at the house. The Master bed was comfy and warm. Shower was awesome. What I liked: The house felt warm and cozy. I liked being on the river and listening to the bugs, squirrels and birds. We loved being on the back deck relaxing and drinking our coffee. House rules were not overbearing, but to just clean up after yourself, no dirty dishes left in the sink, take out trash and bring the towels down to the washer. I tried to sweep, but I didn't find a broom. I spilt coffee grinds, but was able to clean it up. Communication with the owners was great and quick response! We really enjoyed our stay and would book again!

Loved this place! Spacious and in a good neighborhood which over the last few years, has been rapidly improving! Felt very safe for my family, though driving maps may take you some routes which may make you wonder as you get there. Again, it's safe and in a good neighborhood! Good location to things without being in the heart of downtown or Mt Pleasant, which would quickly increase the price ... this is a good value. Host was super easy to work with and even worked with us to allow an early check-in based upon our arrival. Emily was very responsive and communicated clearly. Place was clean though there were some carpet stains upstairs that one can live with. Only down-side was lack of window treatments or shades in the Master BR which made it impossible to block out the light. Even with this though, it was a good, clean home that I would recommend and would stay again.

My daughters and I had a wonderful and memorable girls’ weekend in Charleston. Alexander and Olivia were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The house was beautiful all the little touches (eye masks, ear plugs, a bottle of champagne) were well thought out.

It took us awhile to pick our Airbnb for Charleston, but we were glad we picked Bohemian Darts hosted by Brett. We came to Charleston for a girls weekend with long time high school friends. The price was reasonable. The location was excellent; we could walk to North King and easily drive into the historic section. The apartment is a single second floor unit above a design business. The apartment was clean and spacious with simple, tasteful decor. The kitchen was well equipped, including a drip coffee maker and dish washer (and 8 coffee mugs!). The living room was comfortable for four of us to hang out in between activities. Brett was quick to respond to the wifi/Internet issue caused by a local outage. Parking is available onsite for one car. There is a coffee/smoothie/breakfast/wine shop across the street and a bagel place a block or two toward King. We would stay here again! (and yes, there are darts, but we didn't play)

The property was fantastic as was the management responsiveness and communication. The only negative was not in their control - 3:30 am Carolina Waste management operations on Thursday morning that stopped right outside the home for 15 minutes of ground shaking dumpster trash collection of roughly half a dozen dumpsters rolled out of the alley adjacent to the property. To the credit of the managers, they had sleep-noise machines in the rooms to counter the frequent garbage collection in the area. Otherwise it was a wonderful place.

We loved the place - it was a bit of a drive to get into downtown Charleston though. Other than that, we had a great stay

This was a nice, well stocked place within walking distance of a bunch of great shops and restaurants. The host responded quickly and provided all the necessary information. I would stay here again and recommend to others who want to explore Charleston.

The Borough’s place was the perfect place to get away for a couple of days. It was an easy drive to Isle of Palms beach. We loved that the place was pet friendly. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

This town home is in a wonderful location. Ubers are available late into the night for a fairly low fare. If you drive it’s just a short drive to downtown and you pay for all day parking and walk everywhere.

My husband and I came down for a wedding and were over the moon with our stay. It was very clean, had excellent lighting, and multiple mirrors which was really nice. It was walkable to all the places we wanted to visit. We felt safe in our surroundings and plan to come back and stay in the same place!

This condo was absolutely beautiful! The location was peaceful with a great view and right by a beach boardwalk. The inside looked to have been recently updated and it was done with exquisite taste. The kitchen was gorgeous and the bathrooms had a spa-like feel. It was decorated beautifully and tastefully. I appreciated that it had everything needed, but was clutter-free!

An excellent location with a great view of the lagoon, this condo was the perfect place to unwind with a week of Spring Break biking and beach walks. Comfy furniture both inside and out and a well-appointed kitchen made for an easy rainy Sunday as well as a few lazy evenings in. Night Heron Park and the beach are only minutes away by bike or on foot, making the Park Villas a convenient location for couples and families alike. We'd stay at this condo again.

This was a great spot for our group of three women. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom. We were able to prepare some meals there and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable with great linens. The family room was a great space to hang out together. This was a great location and a quick walk to the private beach area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Vicki’s villa on Seabrook. The location is perfect, private and peaceful, nestled in the Live Oaks with beautiful views from each of the FOUR outdoor areas. It is an easy walk to the beach and the club, which has a great pool and lounge area on an embankment overlooking the ocean. We love to cook, and the kitchen is fabulous, well appointed with all the equipment you need to make meals. Vicki and the management were also incredible with communication. We couldn’t have asked for a better week. We highly recommend Vicki’s villa—you will experience a peaceful escape and right at home.

Fantastic stay at Seabrook! This was the perfect spot for a family and decked out with games, bikes, beach chairs and everything you’d need! One of the best stocked rental kitchens we have stayed at!

Location was great, close to the ocean and a short bike ride to shopping and restaurants. Sandra was extremely responsive and did a fantastic job making sure her property helped provide memories of a lifetime. I highly recommend this property and owner as they were worth every penny.
