We loved using the pool and the patio/grill area. The view and the landscaping are beautiful. The owner was helpful and responsive; she supplied firewood and charcoal. Plenty of dining space both indoors and out. Good A/C.

3 Nights was not enough for our 7 member family. We cooked, grilled, soaked in the hot and best of all had a delightful tour of Barbara's and Mike's Sheep Farm, all fit in around wedding events in Rixeyville. If life wouldn't have been in the way, 2 more days enjoying the massive deck and game room downstairs would have been perfection.

We had an incredibly relaxing, peaceful, quiet getaway. The house is more than enough space for 2 people, well stocked kitchen, amazing scenery. Beautiful Mountain View’s, screened in porch, super serene.

We had a great stay at the Blue House and can’t recommend it enough for your next trip to Lake Anna! The house was well-equipped, clean, and the host was flexible and accommodating with our check-in/out times. The property has beautiful, waterfront views and is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

We needed a place to hold us comfortably for an anniversary trip, and Jeff’s place sure delivered! He was quit to communicate with us about questions after booking and stayed in touch up to checking in to be sure we were on the same page. We even had a minor issue on a Friday evening and he was very quick to communicate so that our trip could stay on track! Home was clean and had everything we needed to make our weekend trip no stress. Thanks Jeff and team!

It’s a private place to go and enjoy and famili kids are very happy with the pool and activities

Our family of four spent two nights at Callie's Cottage. We had a great time enjoying the trails, fishing the pond, and watching the horses. Our kids had a lot of fun playing in the treehouse. The house was cozy, clean and well appointed.

Place was lovely and exactly as listed. Spacious , great views, clean and lots of DVDs and board games. Highly recommend staying here!

This was our family's second stay with Michele Indigo residence. We always bring our two pups and they love the walkable neighborhood and the large fenced in front yard. The house is quaint and unique as well as beautifully decorated, but comfortably livable at the same time. It is conveniently within walking distance to Old Town Winchester, parks, and fabulous restaurants. Michele provided timely check in instructions and local suggestions for food and entertainment. Check out expectations were a breeze and the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. Although our visits in the Winchester area may be coming to a close with our child's upcoming graduation from the University, our visits will continue and we will always use Michele's listing for our family's longer stays! Thanks again for hosting us Michele! We can't wait to stay again!

Everything was great and we had a wonderful time!

Great airbnb! Had so many amenities especially in the kitchen and bathrooms! Only unfortunate thing was that the neighboring farm has just manured its fields and the smell was extremely overpowering. The host warned us of this the day of checkin and I’m sure there’s no way of knowing this would be the case beforehand but it was just an unfortunate situation especially since the hottub was the main draw for us. Otherwise it was a great experience and the hosts were very communicative with local recommendations and clear instructions! Would come again but maybe not in manure season ;)

Our kids had such a wonderful time! Between the game room, the hot tub, the fire pit and the huge field, they always had something to do. Our favorite part was the sunrise view from the bedrooms. Stunning!

The home was beautiful and very welcoming! The hosts thought of every detail to ensure that our stay was comfortable for our group. It was a great place to seek peaceful time away. Overall was a great location to anyone wanting to enjoy the outdoors since the National Forest was nearby with gorgeous views! Or even enjoy all that the resort area offered! House was clean and the host was always made sure to get back to us about any questions that may have come up. Our kids loved that there was a game area as well that they could watch tv or game without having to give up the TV for the adults to watch TV.

The home is lovely and peaceful. The layout is ideal and the rooms are very spacious. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking your own meals and there was wood for fire which we used for the firepit on cold nights.

Our weekend girls' trip getaway to Susanne's pastoral family homeplace was absolutely wonderful, as this property is truly its own point of interest! While all bed/bath/kitchen provisions were top notch and well exceeded a typical amenity checklist, the thing that comforted us the most was a warm and open welcoming into the doors of this historic family home. From classic furnishings and sturdy wares, old photos and whimsical trinkets, interesting nooks and mysterious crannies, peaceful porch seating and delightful cow parades, abundant trees and beautiful flowers... we felt like we were right at home. Although we could have been perfectly content staying parked on the property our entire stay (and may plan to do just that for our next visit) we opted to enjoy a lovely drive for a day hike to a stunning waterfall in Shenandoah National Park, and went in to Charlottesville for some shopping on the pedestrian mall. We 100% recommend this historic property and Susanne's warm hospitality!

Nicole’s place was absolutely perfect for our girls’ getaway! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and provided the perfect balance of comfort and seclusion. We loved how private and peaceful it felt—such a great escape from the hustle and bustle. The fire pit was amazing for cozy evenings, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking. There’s a Walmart at the bottom of the mountain if you need anything, which was super convenient. A heads-up: if you’re planning to leave on a Sunday, the nearby landfills are closed, so you’ll need to take your trash further along your route home. The drive up the mountain is stunning, but definitely requires an AWD/4WD vehicle to make it up stress-free. Nicole was so responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything even smoother. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to escape and enjoy a relaxing, secluded retreat! Great place and awesome location, close to Old Rag and White Oak Canyon. Clean and nice accommodation, with a great view. Kid friendly as well. Would definitely recommend.

David and his wife Natalie went above and beyond in preparation for our stay. We hosted our wedding on the property and David was eager to help make the days leading up to the wedding weekend go smoothly and stress-free. Both home are beautiful, the pool and hot tubs are fun and relaxing, and the property is peaceful and private. All of our guests enjoyed themselves at the wedding and their stay on the property.

We loved the house and the area!! It was so quiet and peaceful. We sat on the porch for hours just staring at the view! Great hiking trails nearby!

It’s a very cute house, we really enjoyed our stay. We had no cell service but there is WiFi so it all worked out great! It’s the woods so there are some bugs inside but nothing too bad. It’s a great place, easy to get to as well. I’d definitely stay here again!

Connie's Rock Cottage was amazing! much thought was put into this cottage. Firewood and fire starter for the wood stove on chilly nights, robes we used for getting to and from the private hot tub just steps outside the back door,map of entire 550 acres of land including the wonderful paved walkway which meanders through the property. This was the mosr exceptionally prepared kitchen we have seen in out travels. Tons of utensils, a full set of potsand pans, dish towels, trivets, cutting boards and cooking sheets! We love to cook together when we travel and this kitchen was big enough for 2! We got some amazing pictures all over the farm. The lack of light pollution allowed us to enjoy the stars and Pink Full Moon in all their glory! We will be back to enjoy this cottage again!
