Stone Country Cottage

Very private, quaint stone cottage in the Townland of Coomkeen, on the Sheep's Head Peninsula (the Wild Atlantic Way), Ireland's best hiking country. Two Miles to village of Durrus, five miles from town of Bantry. Cottage was originally built in 1845 by my great uncle. ceilings in kitchen are low, in order for fireplace to keep warm. There are odd heights in doors typical for the era., PLEASE BE ADVISED PERHAPS A CHALLENGE FOR VERY TALL VISITORS. Or you can take a walk back in time and enjoy.

Although only 10 minutes drive to bustling Glengarriff with its pubs and restaurants the house and grounds feel incredibly secluded. Visitors have said it is like entering another, magical world!

Seat View Lodge - in the heart of West Cork

Seat View Lodge is a beautiful cottage located in the heart of West Cork. The cottage is newly built with a lovely balance of modern and rustic characteristics. The house has stunning views, a large garden and a spacious interior. The house has everything that you could need for either a weekend getaway or for a long visit. The Byre - a rural escape near Bantry in West Cork

The Byre at O’Brien’s Cottage nestles in the hills of West Cork 13km from Bantry. This traditional stone building provides ground floor studio accommodation. There is a king-size bed and a double sofa-bed which are both in the living area which can accommodate up to 4 guests if you don't mind a bit of a squash! if you are a party of 2 but need both beds, please let me know so I can provide extra linen.

The Moorings is situated on a one acre site, 1 km from Bantry town centre. It is located on the N71 Bantry to Glengarriff road. It is ideally located for exploring Bantry, West Cork, Kerry and the surrounding areas on the Wild Atlantic Way Route. The house has recently been refurbished and there is private parking in the driveway.
