Miriam is great! This felt like home. They were ery proactive with communication about things like ferries, things to do on the Island, etc. She was very accomodating on the time, even to the point of allowing us to check in early since we arrived on an early ferry. She is thorough, and kind, leaving delicious homemade treats, and even brought us fresh blueberries from the garden. We would definitely come back! Thanks Miriam!

Jennifer’s cottage far surpassed our expectations! This was a perfect stay. Jennifer was flexible with the check-in time. She was welcoming and responsive. I am sorry we did not get a chance to meet in person. We were given access to a locked shed to keep our rental bikes. The fresh coffee and French press were appreciated. The cottage was beautiful and just the right size for 2 of us. It felt like home and was so relaxing. Easy to walk to Fairhaven with all the shops and restaurants. The trail system was amazing, so easy to hike and walk about. We can’t wait to stay at Jennifer’s place again, and again, and again!!

Doug’s place is exactly as described—a beautiful, serene retreat that offers the perfect blend of privacy and nature. The pond is amazing, and the outdoor space is where we spent most of our time. Even though the owners are on the property, it feels incredibly private. Doug himself is very friendly and welcoming. The actual living space is small, but that’s exactly why we loved it. We prefer being outdoors and value nature over amenities, so this space was perfect for us. If you’re looking for a big space that feels like home, it might feel a bit small. However, if you love nature and enjoy a peaceful, camping-like retreat, it’s ideal. We were a group of four adults (two couples) and two dogs, and we fit perfectly. It’s also conveniently close to the city and national parks, so you get the best of both worlds. We highly recommend it!

I enjoyed my peaceful stay at the beautiful apartment. I had planned to use the provided mountain bikes, but due to an injury, I instead rested, breathed the mountain air and enjoyed the scenic views. The apartment was blissfully quiet and looks even better than the photos. Susan and Stan were very kind and friendly. They provided a bottle of wine and a bar of chocolate in the apartment for my arrival, and they even shared some produce from their garden. Previous guests had left some kitchen staples in the apartment such as flour and oil which helped me with cooking. The apartment is only a few minutes from town but feels like a world away. I would definitely stay here again when I am in the area. I highly recommend.

We had a great time staying at Dennis and Sue's place. The place is cozy, private, and had all the amenities for a relaxing weekend. We made meals in the kitchen which has all the essentials. We had fun checking out hikes in the area and this was a great home base for outdoors activities. Thanks for a nice stay!

This place was absolutely magical! Tucked away in the woods, it felt like a perfect little escape from the world—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The loft bedroom was a dream—sleeping up there truly felt like being in a treehouse, surrounded by the treetops. You can tell a lot of care and thought went into making this a special stay. Whether you’re looking to disconnect, recharge, or just soak up the beauty of the outdoors, this is the spot. I can’t recommend it highly enough—already dreaming of coming back!

I really enjoyed my stay at Jon's, it was exactly as described and listed. It felt very cozy and had everything I needed for my week visit. They were very responsive and made sure I had everything I needed to feel at home. The choice of furnishings and supplies in the home was very thoughtful and I could tell they put effort into making it feel more like a home and less like a "rental." I would definitely consider booking again!

Ike was very communicative and responded quickly whenever I asked. It was very private feeling and just 5 minutes from Meadow Greens. Luxury sheets and towels and everything immaculate. Although not a scenic neighborhood, it is close to many things in Lynden.

Wonderful kitchen and dining area! We spent hours playing games and could see whales in the bay from the inside windows. We had a wonderful stay!

My wife and I loved staying at this place. It was very clean and so pretty. It was our first time staying at a tiny home so we were not sure about what to expect. But, without any reservations, we loved it! It was so elegant and even though everything was smaller than what you would typically find in a house or apparent.

This camper was super cute, well stocked, and easy to find! Just what we needed for a trip to mt. Baker. As an added shout out, we left a bag in the camper at our departure, and the hosts were super responsive and very graciously shipped it back to us. Thanks again!

I stayed here for a few months it was cozy and Christian was very friendly and accomidating. It was very nice to cuddle up on the couch for a movie night. Hospitality was amazing and warm and welcoming. I will definitly send family and friends to this amazing spot. Very quiet and friendly atmosphere they made it feel like home away from home. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet quant place to find peace and adventure.

Great stay! Great host! Just what I needed. Was a base camp for me as I hiked and explored the area. Nice and quiet. Nature all around. A nice retreat to take it easy and relax. I highly recommend!

Such a great place to stay with kids. Basketball net, badminton net, kayak, canoe, lots of outdoor space. Fantastic indoor games and things to do. So peaceful sleeping, all you hear is frogs crickets and rain on the roof. Absolutely clean and cozy. We’ll be staying again!

This guesthouse is not far from grocery stores and restaurants, but it feels like it! I woke up every morning to birds and cows. Peaceful and tucked away, it was just what I needed. Kathy and her husband were quick to respond when I asked for help and otherwise gave lots of space.

I had a very nice stay at Haley's cabin. The cabin was clean, comfortable and quiet. The area around the cabin is very peaceful and it is nice for short walks. The neighborhood is also very friendly. Haley was very pleasant and responsive to my needs. It was a great place to stay for a month. I would definitely go back again.

This cottage was everything and more to make our trip AMAZING. It is so cute, so cozy, so clean. The space is utilized so great. The location was perfect. The furry four legged beauties running around in the backyard was such a pleasure. The host was amazing, very communicative and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay! Tara's tiny home was exactly what I needed after a long backpacking trip in the mountains! The farm was peaceful and had beautiful scenery. I loved seeing the chickens roaming around the property. The inside of the tiny home was clean and comfortable. Photos in the listing were accurate. Tara was always responsive to my messages and she greeted me during check-in.

LOVED staying here, and would definitely stay again. We were concerned Anita's place would be too far out, but no way. Very easy, beautiful drive that just felt like going home. This is a stand-alone modern, private studio south of Fairhaven. We plan to move to the area next year, and I'd love to buy something exactly like this. PERFECT for two people. We had some initial troubles with the wifi, but it was soon remedied (router was unplugged). We greatly appreciated the washer and dryer, free parking, and gorgeous views out the sliding doors. Also, just a couple minute walk to a great trailhead for hiking. Would absolutely stay again! It's a dream!
