We stayed here for my sisters bachelorette weekend and had such a great time. The place was perfect for us to have space to hangout in the evenings. There were plenty of beds for all of us to sleep comfortably. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in the woods, this is a great one! The view off the porch is beautiful and the log cabin feel is great! 5/5 stars from us!

We loved our stay at this house. Great location right on the lake, beautiful views and the snow made it even better. The house was as described, clean and very comfortable. We skied 2 days at Schuss and this is a convenient location for that. The dogs had plenty of room to roam the house and were comfortable as well! We would definitely stay here again!

Clean, quiet and an unusually well stocked kitchen! the hot tub was fantastic too. great home base for exploring the Traverse City area. would stay again!

The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely home in an amazing location. The access to Silver Lake with paddle boards and kayaks readily available was amazing!

My wife and I had a few days off for a fall break. Dennis' place was a perfect spot. The drive there and the surrounding woods were vibrant with color. The place was comfortable, well-suited for a short or long stay, and was stocked with plenty to do. The short path to the lake is great, and the dock provides a lovely view. We spent hours just sitting on the dock chairs reading. We were fortunate to have beautiful sunny days. We took the short drive into Traverse City to go to Trattoria Stella, one of our very favorite restaurants. We also took a short hike out back to connect to the Mt Minnie trail and thoroughly enjoyed that hike. Being minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, and Franfort was a perfect location. Our last evening, we went 15 minutes to Peterson Beach and watched the sun set and stayed to watch all the stars emerge in the darkness. It was amazing! We didn't, but we could have built a fire there on the beach.. We hope to return. Thanks Dennis!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean. The back yard was perfect for our blind doggie to wander around. The walking trail wasn't long, but it had a big hill so my heart got pumping. We would definately stay here again!

Lovely home on Rose Lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Home has plenty of room for a family of 5 .(3 adults and 2 kids) The kiddos loves the hammock in the backyard by the water and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. A definite add to our favorites list. Will stay again and recommend to our other family when they stay up here.

We had a great weekend with our adult kids. We planned a quick buggy trip with our daughter and son in law to spend some time together and play in the woods as we like to say. Home was close to trails. Lake was a plus for us! We will plan a trip in the warmer months to spend some time on the lake. Beautiful home. Kitchen has all you need to cook just like home. We had a lovely stay! The cottage was so cute and I just loved how they decorated it! We absolutely loved the hot tub and used it every day! We decided to walk down to the beach through all the snow, would love to stay in the summer when we can actually go swimming!! Ate at Peegeos twice during our stay, so close and so good, get the cheesecake! So delicious and made from scratch! We will definitely be back!

Enjoyed a winter getaway at this beautiful home! Beautifully decorated & designed with fun & relaxing time in mind

The cottage was the perfect location for my getaway weekend with friends! Not only was it serene and quiet, it was picturesque. The location is just outside of Traverse City for those looking to travel there. Inside was cozy and welcoming. The space itself is curated for connection with the big screen movie projector, game room, multiple board games and fully functional kitchen; not to mention it's right on the water with an outdoor shower. The space needed to be warmed with a few space heaters, but there were more than enough to keep us toasty through the chilly evenings. I would gladly come back to the cottage!

Great spot, exactly what we needed! It’s small and cozy, in a quiet area 10-15 minutes drive from anything you need. Smooth check in, clean spot, had whatever amenities you could think of. One thing: If you are taller than me (6’4) you may have some trouble with the bathroom. I made it work but were I an inch taller I wouldn’t have been able to fit for certain activities 😂

Spider Lake Cottage is a gem! Quiet ,peaceful and beautifully decorated. Nikki has truly thought of everything to make the guests' stay PERFECT! The kitchen is well stocked. The view of the lake through the windows is so pretty. Our Lab,Louis loved watching the squirrels and chipmunks in the trees and on the ground. There were also 2 ducks that made a few visits. We came during the early spring so we used the remote controlled fireplace while we read , played games and watched TV. We enjoyed cooking, drinking wine and turning on the twinkle lights at night. Very spacious and comfortable place to stay. Wonderful location in Honor -- so convenient to Platte Lake, Platte River kayaking, Platte Beach, and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Kodiak Cabin is nearest the road, so a bit of road noise, but the spacious cabin was well worth it.

Tom was great! he helped us out with a trailer issue, highly recommend staying here! will be going back again

The cabin was great for a quick little private getaway. We enjoyed the location on the river and we're thankful for a quiet private place to take our dogs!

Already planning to come back! Such a cozy and relaxing place to stay. The lake was amazing to look at and canoe around in. Beautiful location in general. Inside has everything you might need. Beds were comfy. Felt like home staying here.

Midge was an incredible host, extremely friendly and hopeful. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated for the holidays, with beautiful views on the local lake! This was the perfect staycation for our family & we look forward to all the future stays.

I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy spot close to skiing and other activities! Unexpectedly had toys, games, and even a pack and play. Great for families and kids! Our hosts helped with any issue that may have arisen and were quick to respond. They could not have been more helpful.
