We loved our long weekend stay at the Lochen House! Our pups loved the yard, as did we. The hot tub, rowboat, and dome were the cherry on top. Such a fun stay. We also made time to visit Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Leland. The location was very convenient. However, the noise from the conveniently located main roadway, US31, was pretty loud. This of course is clearly mentioned by Jeff and in others’ reviews, but it is worth mentioning again as it slightly took away from the peaceful feel of the rest of the property. The value is there though. The house itself was clean and tidy. It had everything we could have needed and we really appreciated the grill. Overall, it was a great stay and we hope to be back in the future! 😃

Scott's camper has mold in the bedroom all down the wall on the right side of the bed could not sleep in that room also he would turn the heat down to 60 at night through his phone and made me agree to a temperature to keep the camper at yet still kept turning down heat our entire stay in the middle of the night would wake up shaking cold. maintenance was supposed to do 4 deep cleaning never once did he do his job half-ass accomodations truly feel disrespected even waisting my money on this place. for Scott to be a pasture of a church and spoke to me the way he did speaks volumes. John 3:16

This is challenging…Michigan has a vibe & an energy that is indescribable…This Airbnb exceeds all expectations! Love this place! As a disabled veteran… I yearn to move to Michigan…I honestly do not want to leave this review because I do not want tourist to find out about this lil private secret place! Over the top amazing place to stay. Beautiful, comfortable and adorable! Seth and Kelsey were outstanding hosts and my husband and I were so impressed, these two should give lessons on how to be the perfect hosts!!! The food was amazing and they also slipped in a little birthday surprise for me. The property was so well maintained and the hot tub and fire pit were a welcome surprise and we enjoyed meeting other guests fixing s’mores!! I forgot to sign the guest book so will be back soon!!

Wonderful place to stay, this place had everything and worked great for our bachelorette party group of 14! Everything was clean and neat, easy to find a use, and Barb was very helpful with any question we had! Traverse city was an easy 20 minute drive. The farm animals were fun to have around as well! We loved it and highly recommended this place!

Even with cold, rainy weather, we still had the best weekend staying here! The cabin is so cozy with everything we needed, we felt right at home. Being right in the water was fantastic, especially enjoying the view from the hot tub on the colder days. If you're in the area I would highly recommend staying here!

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. The house is in a quiet area with easy parking and views and an easy walk to the bay. Check-in was simple, with Kate providing great instructions for the keypad to let ourselves in. The house was cozy with all amenities as described, and we felt right at home. All the Traverse City attractions were easy to get to, and Kate provided great recommendations. We had an awesome time and would definitely stay here again.

Extremely unique layout and design of house. The house easily accommodated our whole party and the deck, hot tub, River, and kitchens were wonderful. The house is fully stocked with all amenities that other AirBnBs often lack like towels, toiletries, kitchen appliances/basic spice/condiments. The property is densely forested and feels very secluded. Great stay.

The place is lovely and worked well for my family. The cost of a two night stay doubled w tax, cleaning fees, etc. We almost cancelled due to the final cost for two nights. Is it possible to offer short stays the option of cleaning themselves to eliminate that cost?

We stayed here for my sisters bachelorette weekend and had such a great time. The place was perfect for us to have space to hangout in the evenings. There were plenty of beds for all of us to sleep comfortably. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in the woods, this is a great one! The view off the porch is beautiful and the log cabin feel is great! 5/5 stars from us!

Great host! We enjoyed our stay. Awesome location. We’ve stayed in TC many time and this is our favorite. We hope to stay with Fernando again in the future. Thanks for making us feel at home!

Maria’s place is an absolute gem! We stayed three nights over NYE and it was exactly what we needed! It is a gorgeous cabin with thoughtful touches … very peaceful yet close enough to anything you would need. Although, it’s very well appointed so quite easy to just stay in and get cozy by the fire. We drove to Sleeping Bear Dunes area which was not too far and found the drive to be very beautiful! The best part was the snow we woke up to New Year’s Day … just magical and our dogs loved it. 10/10 recommend!

We had a great weekend at Lisa's cabin! Our dog, Arrow, enjoyed the respite from city life. The surroundings were very quiet and private. It was the perfect amount of space for us. I found the eco-friendly features of the cabin to be very inspiring! I also appreciated having access to a compost bin. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed making coffee in the morning, as well as simple meals. Lisa was very accessible via text throughout the entire stay. Downtown Frankfort is a short drive away -- just 10 minutes. We visited in mid-April and the weather was perfect. We are looking forward to returning!

Great place to stay near Ludington. Check in was super easy and they deliver firewood to your site! The host answers questions over text which was nice. We stayed in a rustic cabin which had a table and beds inside. There was electricity for plugging in our phones. We also liked the overhead fan.

Very nice clean unit with a partial view of the lake. Second floor with easy access to the elevator.

We really enjoyed our stay! Very beautiful area and close to many great hikes. The woman who helped us was very sweet and the pool area is really nice compared to some of the other camp ground pools we’ve been to. Definitely one of our favorite KOA’s. We will be back!

We had a great stay! Lori was very responsive and flexible with checking in/out. She was quick to respond and very helpful. The house was spotless and bathrooms were nice. The location was perfect for skiing on/off the hills! Beautiful view of the area from the house. We look forward to staying at this place again!

The place was nice. difficulty getting in the condo. Lots of keys! love the pool, hot tub, and the bay. The patio area was awesome for sunrises. The air conditioning did not work do well. Turned the air to 68 or 70 and woke up in the middle of the night to it being 76. Doesn't seem that the circulation was good. carpets are a little dirty and stained.

This was the most magical way to spend the last three weekdays before school started for my kids. 7/10 perfect would stay again.
