Pilot Cove offered my family of 4 (plus dog) a wonderful experience at the doorstep to Pisgah and Brevard. Loved being close to the Hub and the food and coffee truck at the bottom of the hill were great. I enjoyed drinking an Americano from the coffee truck on my way into the Forest or after a long trail run on the Art Loeb trail. The walking trails on the property were the perfect place to walk the dog (though several downed trees cross the path). The house was simple but fit ours needs as we spent most of our time outdoors. Overall we loved Pilot Cove and will be back!

Cute little cabin in a peaceful spot just outside of Pisgah National Forrest. Close to delicious food trucks and even downtown Brevard. We were able to rest and enjoy equally with this stay.

This year was the second year my group and I stayed with Lake Norris Chalets. They were completely painless to work with both years and are very responsive to any questions you may have. Their homes are precisely as described in the descriptions. One huge perk about renting with Lake Norris Chalets, if you are in one of their homes with a dock, and you rent a boat from them they will deliver the boat to the home, fueled up and ready to go. This is a great service that frees up a lot of time you would spend going to the marina, filling out all the paperwork and getting the boat back to your place. I would recommend Lake Norris Chalets time and time again for anyone looking to have a great weekend on the lake!

The Pilot Cove cabin was a wonderful spot; we visited the Pisgah National Forest, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, and the Blue Ridge Parkway to Asheville! I highly recommend this lovely location!

Wow, a great place where you can become one with nature. You find yourself immersed in taking in the views morning, noon, and night. Pilot Cove is a peaceful community and had feel of a place tucked well into the mountains but just on the edge of town. A true favorite!

My husband and I recently stayed at Pilot Cove, seeking some much-needed relaxation and a chance to connect with nature. This retreat was everything we hoped for and more. The room was incredibly comfortable, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that made our stay truly rejuvenating. One of the highlights of our stay was the fully equipped kitchen. It was fantastic to have the option to cook our own meals, which not only added a homey feel to our stay but also helped us save money on dining out. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was a wonderful surprise. While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and the floors needed a good vacuuming. However, these were minor issues in the grand scheme of things. Overall, Pilot Cove provided us with a perfect getaway. We left feeling relaxed and reconnected with nature. We will definitely be returning and recommend it to others.

Was upset at first because they informed us the day of our arrival that the hottub broke but they were very caring and accommodated us for it and took action to fix it right away. The only thing is make sure you bring extra supplies like garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. as they only supply one of each. Also lots of geese droppings walking down to water but goes with being on a lake. Make sure you check your GPS settings so it doesn't take you backroads, learned that one. No garage so vehicle gets very hot, sunshade helps and deck is hot, no umbrella for shade to sit out at table. Overall beautiful place and Gunner was pleasant and pleasure to deal with any issues we had.

Lirio Woods was a great stay for my boyfriend and me! We appreciated the little details (i.e., pre-filled ice cube trays, laundry basket, room heaters, dryer balls for your down jackets, extra/sorted firewood, recycling bins, marked/lit parking space, etc.) that made the trip more comfortable and convenient. There were lots of helpful info cards for the amenities. The fireplace was already set up the night we checked into the stay. Although it only has a kitchenette, there were enough appliances and kitchenware to make meals and reheat leftovers--induction burner and toaster oven came in handy. The place was in a quiet location away from road noise but easy to venture into nearby towns. Thank you so much, Katie, for hosting us! We appreciated your excellent/efficient communication during our stay. Highly recommend staying at Lirio Woods!

We loved staying at Beech Sweet! It’s a small space, but it’s a cute place to stay right in the mountains, with just stunning views in a beautiful area. John and Erin were amazing, helpful, and understanding hosts. The suite was perfect for our stay, and we particularly loved spending evenings in the pool area or on the porch, enjoying the sunset over a mountain in the distance. So grateful to have stayed here!

Nice quiet place. It was also very considerate of the neighbor to walk over and fore warn us he was going to fire off a round from his newly cleaned handgun with the kids playing in the grass area! Only in Tennessee.

The house had plenty of space and is clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and is close to many sites in Asheville.

We had a great stay at Keepin it Real! This condo has everything you could ever need and more. Hosts were very responsive from booking through stay. They definitely did a great job utilizing the small space-two people is the perfect number. Very comfortable and clean. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Dollar General is close, groceries about 10 minutes away. Very nice deck with nice furniture. There are quite a few steps down to the condo from the parking lot and down to the pool. Dogs have to be walked up near the parking lot in the grassy area. There is no lake access for swimming-just for boats.

Fantastic House at Lake James! You will be hard pressed to find a more spectacular view. the house sits near the top of a hill overlooking the lake. The view is amazing, and lots to do in the local area. Andrew was a great host, very proactive and everything was just as he said it would be! The house has a boat dock, great for anyone bringing or renting a boat. The stairs up and down to the dock are a journey for most of the homes on Lake James, but they are worth the effort! My family loved the home and the area, I hope we will be back!

My family of 14 enjoyed every minute of their stay at this home. They were visiting from out of state for thanksgiving and everyone had a wonderful stay. Even with a large group, this home was perfect and walkable to a lot of restaurants and bars to keep everyone entertained. I highly recommend this property to any large group visiting Johnson city and the host is wonderful!

This was our second stay at the Carriage house. As before, it is comfortable, clean, and cozy. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the screened in porch with snuggly warm blankets provided. Kitchen was perfectly stocked, even parchment paper for cooking bacon. It was good to see spring flowers blooming, after such a rough winter. We look forward to coming again to stay here.

Wonderful stay at the Nest!! Hosts were delightful and friendly, view of the lake was serene, and the place was perfect for me and my pups. The Nest is above a garage, so definitely stairs are a consideration for access but they were very well lit at night, which I greatly appreciated! I didn't experience any noise due to the garage in evening or at night in case that's a concern to others. Hosts were so kind as to help me carry my stuff from the car to the Nest despite a later evening arrival. How generous and unexpected! Great hiking in the area, and the Nest was a wonderful place to return to after fun and full days. Definitely book if you're thinking about a trip to the area! :-)

Perfect location to Beech Mountain resort, past the main part of town so you don’t have to deal with the traffic. Home was perfect-exactly as pictured. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Bathrooms were updated and beautiful. My kids loved the place, as did we!

Great choice for a peaceful stay. Cute house on beautiful property. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment. House is clean. Great for families that want to focus on quality time.

The cabin is located in quiet neighborhood and short distance to nice waterfall. We had a great time at Ms. Wendy's house. She had a welcome basket full of snacks and a stacks of firewood for us to use. We didn't use it because it was raining the weekend we were there however we used fireplace and it was great. She responded quickly when we had some questions about nearby restaurants and grocery stores. We ate at one of her suggested local breakfast place and it was very good. It was a peaceful weekend.

Beautiful views overlooking the Smokies, Ober Mountian Trams, and downtown Gatlinburg. Easy access to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge areas. Zack was very responsive with any needs we had throughout our stay. Instructions and recommendations were very thorough, which we were thankful for. Kids had a great time in the game room and hot tub almost every night. Cabin was well stocked and very clean. Would highly recommend staying in this cabin !!

Thank you Denise for sharing your wonderful condo with my family. We enjoyed each day of our stay. The pictures on airbnb doesn't do it justice. Like another reviewer stated, I'm hesitate to say too much about how nice the place is do to more bookings. I can see my family returning here often.

This property is beautiful, homey, peaceful, and we hope to visit again. The surroundings are serene and our children and dog loved exploring them. It was incredible how quickly all stress dissipated when we arrived. We loved watching the sun rise over the mountains and made memories that I will cherish forever here. We booked last minute because we wanted to view a long term rental property in the area. The rental property didn't work out but this vacation saved the trip. We truly needed it- it felt like medicine. Thank you, Van! Our family loved every minute there.
