Joe was extremely helpful and flexible both at check-in and checkout. The house is very clean and comfortable , we were 4 and our small dog. It is situated on a very quiet street.The backyard is great , it leads to a river that you can paddle (in season, we were there for thanksgiving). The house is an easy 25 minutes from Newport , you will need a car to do things in the area. The driveway easily accommodates 2 cars. We will probably come back, but in the warmer months!

We booked this house to hold all of the groomsmen for our wedding! This house had plenty of space! The house itself was absolutely stunning in every way possible. None of the guys wanted to head back to Chattanooga they were truly in love with it! They all went kayaking and cooked us up a nice dinner. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay on the lake. The property has direct access to the water and the reflection of that water at night made the stars brighter. The host was always available for any help at all. She was truly a blessing!!

Great, private location in Homosassa. Easily walkable to McRae's, the Monkey Bar and a few other spots. The house is as described on AirBnB. It is spacious and comfortable. Susan is a great and quick responding host!

We really enjoyed our stay in this home! The host was very helpful and responsive. The highlight of our stay was definitely the ability to kayak right out the back door - we paddled out into Mud River Springs and saw manatees absolutely everywhere. It was a magical experience! The yard was peaceful and it was relaxing to sit out with coffee on the deck and watch the wildlife (squirrels, birds, fish). Situated in a small quiet neighborhood (but still close to all the activities we came to the area for), we couldn’t have imagined a more peaceful place to spend our week. We really loved this spot and hope to enjoy it again someday!

We were very happy to find this house. It was perfect for two couples. The best part was taking the provided kayaks out to seven sisters springs. Beautiful. There was also a canoe for those that don’t like kayaks.

We had a great stay at Mel’s place-we t down to Morehead city for a fishing trip and this house was perfect for our group. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved staying here. The location was perfect for our needs- it was a beautiful, quiet area - the house was perfect providing all amenities we required and more. The kayaks are a brilliant addition allowing us to enjoy the water as well. Sitting out on the deck and balcony enjoying the early mornings was divine. We were glad of a car given the location but shops etc are not far. Phil was a terrific host responding to our queries very quickly. We would love to return again in the future.

We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

We had wonderful time and enjoyed this place a lot although we only stayed one night. Kate is a very nice and responsive person. She provide very detail information about the cottages and for sure we will come back sometime in the future or recommend to friends. Thank you, Kate.

Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

Nous avons adoré ce chalet situé dans un lieu calme, paisible, beau. Le logement était très bien équipé (nous avons même trouvé un adaptateur alors que nous n'avions pas pris le nôtre). Le parking devant le chalet n'est pas accessible sans voiture adaptée à cette période de l'année, comme nous l'a indiqué l'hôte, nous nous sommes garés facilement sur la route très proche du logement.

The main cottage is very cosy but still offers plenty of room to spread out. The sun room offers a beautiful view of the lake which made our morning coffee and lunches very enjoyable. Having visited during the colder part of the year we appreciated the fire and an abundance of blankets (for the sun room). The kitchen is well equipped, even for a full on family roast! The next door bunkie is such a great addition. And it’s not just for sleeping! The living area and the balcony, with just as pleasant view of the lake, is is great for enjoying a moment away from the hustle 😁 The surroundings are peaceful and you can get a nice long walk on the road that didn’t get too muddy even after a torrential rain storm.

From beginning to end this cottage is off the charts. Cute, unique, functiinal, confortable, well organized, thoroughly supplied and the location is private and beautiful.

Words can’t describe the peacefulness and tranquility of this place! If you love peace and quiet and enjoy nature’s beauty, this is the place for you! Hanging out on the deck, sitting in the hot tub and just enjoying the scenery with my husband for our 22nd anniversary was just what we needed! The bed was comfy and the toilet seat was amazing haha! The perfect getaway for us! We will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful little cabin in the woods ! My 3 kids 6, 3 and 1.5 really made the most of it and enjoyed it very much ! The walk to the lake is doable and they accommodate for everything by providing things like a dish scrubber, wagon, life jackets, this is one of the best rentals I’ve stayed at !

Quiet winter weekend in a classic Maine cabin. Great communication, everything as expected.

We had a great time! It was a perfect bayou scenery and getaway! We brought our canoe (even though they have kayaks as well). We saw alligators and many birds! They had everything we needed plus more! I loved our little welcome treats. It was such a thoughtful touch!

Lynn was a great host - very responsive to our questions about the area and the amenities. She even went by and left a fire starter for us for the fire pit in case the wood was wet and hard to light. We didn’t even ask, she was just that kind and proactive. We loved the cabin and its quiet, peaceful location on the lake. It’s also very close to the Spring River and we spent a nice day fishing. The fried pickles and nachos at the walkable restaurant/bar nearby were spectacular, and the locals were friendly as well. We ate on the deck which also had a nice view of the lake. The cabin was exactly as advertised, clean, and easy to find even if it the GPS was a little confused. We will definitely return. It was the perfect place for a getaway for this couple.

I have been there before and i just love it. It is super cute and the owners are great .There is a restuarant 5 minutes away and a convenience store.

My husband and I just had the absolute, most amazing stay at this cabin in the woods. The hosts communicated thoroughly and were very responsive to any inquiries we had. The photos and description are all 100% accurate but don’t show the true beauty and serenity of this hidden gem. There were several kayaks w/lifejackets, firewood (with starters), fishing poles w/tackle, coffee/tea provided. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Pack your food, drinks and clothes-that is it! They have everything needed for the most relaxing and wonderful get-away!
