Beautiful and relaxing weekend away. The cottage has everything that you need and Sandy was an amazing host who went above and beyond to ensure a magical stay. This was the second time we visited the farm and we will definitely be back again.

A true hidden gem just a few minutes out of the city. The staff was really helpful and responsive, I was struggling to start a fire for the hot tub and within 10 minutes of me asking for assistance help arrived on my doorstep! I do recommend ordering the dinner basket, to add even comfort to your stay. I will be back :)

Absolutely stunning! Loved the morning game drive with breakfast afterwards. The bird life is unreal and even had a springbok graze near the dam where we were staying.

What a beautiful setting to getaway, enjoy the silence, listen to the birds and just relax & reset. Sitting in hottub watching the stars at night was bliss Perfect reset and we will definitely be back!

Very friendly homestay with amazing views. Peaceful and quiet with a lovely big yard. It is surrounded by a picturesque countryside with beautiful views across the valley.Location was beautiful and there was lots to do nearby. We were able to contact Amelia and Jacques easily and they were very helpful; from restaurant & activity recommendations to use of the cottage amenities. We had plenty of room for two adults; two kids & two infants. Just what we need to get away from the hustle & bustle of city life.A very beautiful & spacious cabin; we will certainly be going back as there is so much more activities and wine farms we left without visiting.

Utterly delightful! A cosy, quaint, comfortable stone cottage nestled inside a garden of trees, leaves and bird song with a wooden bridge over a babbling brook to plunge the soul even deeper into a wholesome escape. All that I’d hoped it would be - lovely hosts and seriously crunchy apples to feast upon! Loved the linen, pillows, outdoor shower, the balcony with braai, the rose-petal bath...Will return and recommend to all. A great stop to and from Cape Town along N2. Stop here!!

Very cute and cosy cottage with the most stunning views. We were 3 adults and a toddler and we really enjoyed our stay. Perfect place if you like the quiet and outdoors. We loved seeing the springbok from afar and the zebra’s, that came to visit us at the cottage. The cottage has all amenities needed for a convenient stay. Only other remark is that the pool area was a bit further away (not walking distance with a toddler) than anticipated, and it’s quite basic. Still enjoyed a nice swim on a hot day. Totally recommend booking this cottage!

Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

Anton was a very responsive and accommodating host. The place is tucked away in nature which means lots of serene sounds, peace and quietness. The place is decked out with all the basic cooking stuff, guides and books to really disconnect from our city lives. Only challenge was getting our small rental car over the driveway to the cabin. Highly recommended

this little gem nestled in the tranquil lush valley of the wilderness forest was fully equipped with added extras like candles; yoga mats; a beach umbrella; ground coffee; olive oil. being two creative beings, we appreciated the fun splashes of yellow around the cottage 💛 because of its remote location, mobile reception was very limited to non-existent so be prepared to disappear off the grid. perfect for a city-life detox.

I had an amazing stay at this cabin! Everything was perfect, from the cozy atmosphere to the beautiful surroundings. The place was super clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed and providing excellent hospitality. Their friendly attitude made the experience even better! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Definitely worth a visit!

This cabin was exactly what we needed after a hectic week—the serenity was truly unmatched. The scenic views were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere made it impossible to leave. We arrived late, but Chantelle kept checking in on us, which was so thoughtful. Upon arrival, Marc was there to welcome us, show us around, and share some great recommendations. Their hospitality made the stay even more special. It was so relaxing that we ended up canceling our plans just to stay in and soak up the tranquility. A highlight of our trip was spotting elephants right outside—Chantelle even messaged us to let us know they were nearby! This was one of the most peaceful stays we’ve ever had, and we truly can’t wait to return!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place is full of thoughtful details and the hosts clearly care about their guests' comfort. Even with bad weather, the accommodation provided everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable time. We would highly recommend it and would love to return.

We stayed in the Wheat Cabin. The view was fantastic, the cabin well equipped with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a great addition and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin is private and the best break away from the hustle and bustle. Lida and Kobus were fantastic hosts and ensured that we had no shortcomings, including complimentary wine and homemade bread.We will be back soon!

Very nice place to stay. Maybe a warning that other people are on horses around the farm and the dam is not very accessible or easy to swim in.

Such a special place, idyllic cabin in the reserve with giraffe and zebra passing by…. Totally switched off and relaxing stay! Very well equipped and comfortable stay. Will definitely be back !

We will definitely return to enjoy the peace & tranquility that this hidden gem has to offer. It has all the qualities of a 5 star stay. A perfect getaway where one feels spoiled by the relaxed and scenic ambience along with the carefully selected decor of rustic meets modern. It catered for our every need. Our overall stay was more than great, and the hosts are super friendly and helpful. Our pup felt so at home because it felt like home to us..Pity we could not stay longer.

a great house in a wonderfully quiet area. perfectly and very tastefully furnished. a few minutes from the beach. with a bit of luck you can watch zebras from your bedroom in the morning ... hildegarde and thys are wonderful and helpful hosts. we would love to come back ...

Such a Cosy place in an incredibly beautiful area. We really loved our stay! The bed was the possibly one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Very tranquil area, great for peace and quiet, with some great restaurants near by. For seafood lovers we highly recommend The Fat Fish, that place is amazing.
