Maria’s cottage was perfect for our family of four, including two teenagers! The cottage was spacious and clean. Outdoors was absolutely beautiful with various seating areas - a patio with tables/chairs, Adirondack chairs around a fire pit, picnic bench closer to the lake and then more Adirondack chairs right on the dock with a gorgeous view of the lake. The cottage had various outdoor sports/leisure items (kayaks, volleyball, badminton etc). Indoors there were cards, colouring books/crayons, novels etc. All of these made for a fun few days through rain and sunshine. Communication with Maria was timely and kind. We all had a restful and enjoyable 3-4 days at Maria’s cottage and would highly recommend it!! Thank you!!

We were watching our granddaughter in a curling bonspiel, so just stayed each night and back to the arena each day. One recommendation would be upgrade to queen size beds, but otherwise very nice.

Dustin’s place was lovely! It was well located, clean, and comfortable. He even left us sourdough bread and chocolate for Easter!

Would recommend to anyone for stays a week or less because laundry was only available during business hours. Vanessa was a great host that communicated very well.

We'll go back to Sudbury in the future and will more than likely book the same place again. Short drive to restaurants / entertainment. Not even 10 minutes away from the University.

Liz and Joe are anazing hosts. They not only helped us unload but walked us through amenities in the house. They are super friendly, responsuve and very nice people. Not only their place had everything but they made sure to send additional stuff to help us. Above all, place was beautiful, quiet and had a great view. We were lucky to spot Aurora (northern lights) and meteors...lots of stargazing. Had a great weekend! Would go back again for sure and have already recommended to friends!

The place was clean and had everything we needed. A spotless bathroom for each bedroom was great. Instructions for getting in was clear. Beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious.

Lisa and Al are such amazing hosts, we always feel so welcome and will be returning regularly. This place is literally a slice of Heaven and a must visit. 100 stars if I had the option. Thanks Lisa and Al for a wonderful weekend at your property!!

Hannah’s granny flat was lovely. Well appointed furniture, comfy bed, and clean. It is located away from the city and is in a peaceful location. If your travel does not require a full kitchen, then this place is great. As a family, we enjoy cooking large meals while on vacation over several days, so if that is what you are looking for, this place may not be for you. If you need a nice clean place to lay your head in a country setting with nice people, this is it. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

Centrally located in Hanmer. Modern, spacious and clean.

Jeff’s place was great! Bright, clean, lots of room. We loved the table and booth-style seating for playing board games. Couch was comfy and there were lots of blankets available to make it cozy. Bed was also very comfortable and plenty of good pillows. Loads of clean towels provided. We did use the hot tub which was nice and hot – a great feature after a long day. Communication was excellent both before and during our stay; everything was easy to find. For those considering booking, be aware you do have to use the door shared with the (very nice) downstairs tenant and then walk around the corner of the house to get to the hot tub – not a big deal!! just something to consider when planning; I’d bring a coverup, some beach towels, and make sure you have sandals for your feet. The hot tub itself is HUGE and very hot; it was awesome and worth the trek! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Jeff as a host and the place as a location; we’d love to stay

Best Air Bnb I’ve been to, felt great to be there, love the way it’s designed. Everything was perfect. Hot tub is nice and warm, they have almost everything to cook with. Bonus items in fridge and snacks. Great experience!

We had a really nice and peaceful stay at Lynn’s. She kindly let us used some snowshoes which was a must to explore the snowy nearby trails. The sauna and jaccuzi were really appreciated to warm up after a day in the cold! Would like to come back in the summer or fall as it must be stunning as well!
