My best friend and I rented the place to celebrate our birthday with some beautiful countryside and a hot tub, it really exceeded our expectations. We had issues turning the hot tub on and off again but in terms of using it was perfect. All the amenities were in great working order and beds were very comfortable. Would recommend for families as well with the massive garden and barbecue:)

Wonderful place to stay. Even better than the photos. Very spacious but cosy too. Great amenities, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, lots of hot water and towels. Lovely touches such a dressing gowns and even some welcome sparkling wine. Hot tub was wonderful, secluded but you don’t feel enclosed, as you can see the stars! Great sized driveway, and quiet location with gorgeous views. Easy access to local main roads which take you throughout the area. We managed road trips to Edinburgh, castles and the Isle of Arran! Beautiful farm shops near by and a useful Asda too! Highly recommended as a romantic place to stay for pre Christmas holidays!

I came to Scotland with the intent of visiting this beautiful cottage and boy am I glad I did. The home was private, quiet, spacious, and homey. We took advantage of the kitchen to cook breakfast and dinners, the fireplace inside for a cozy reading night, and the firepit outside despite some wind. Kirkaldy is a 35 minute walk from the cottage where you can access the Fife coastal path and see the small local town and stunning sea. Another thing I loved about this stay were the linens and bathrobes- so luxe and comfortable! Things to be aware of: Ubers do not access the property but jane provided local taxi numbers for us which we used. There are not many spices in the home so if you do plan on cooking with them, be sure to bring some. Finally, be prepared for sadness when you leave because you will miss this dreamy Airbnb.

Our stay at Laura's house was incredible. She provided everything we needed and more. We had our 1yr and 3yr with us and she had a toy for them, provided a high chair and bath seat along with the cot we requested. The house was so clean and beautiful, everything was perfect! Loved being surrounded by farm land, you can see Wallace Monument from the back of the house. The back patio is fenced in so our boys could play safely. We loved the hot tub! What a bonus! Laura responded to every message immediately, she had a welcome basket of food and champagne for us, she was so helpful and accommodating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Super logement , cocooning comme nous le souhaitions! Accès à Édimbourg relativement rapide. Attention aux instructions d’entrée, car le tri sélectif en Écosse n’est pas le même que le nôtre en France .. beaucoup plus poussé ce qui est un bon point pour l’environnement . J’ai fais par réflexe comme en France ce qui m’a value à juste titre un message D’Ali . Si je devais repartir en Écosse sans hésitation je reprendrais le même logement .. le SPA avec vue c’est un bonheur!

Helen was an excellent host and very helpful when we were dropped off at the wrong place! We felt really welcomed in their home, and enjoyed the lovely welcome gift. The hot tub is lovely and overlooks the beautiful property. Loved our stay!

We had a lovely few days, staying at Appletree Cottage, with our two grandchildren aged 6 and 3. The cottage was very comfy and well equipped, and ideally suited our needs. Good location for many attractions such as Blair Drummond Safari Park, Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies. We were lucky to have good weather so the excellent play area and hot tub were much enjoyed each day. Would definitely recommend booking.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pentland Pod. The pod was very clean and well equipped. Hazel and Jim are fabulous hosts. It felt like staying with family friends. They made sure to give us lots of recommendations of things to visit in the area. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was rural but you are near Edinburgh and Glasgow. The cottage was fantastic and everything was immaculate. The rooms were lovely and spacious and each bedroom had its own en-suite. There was everything you need for your holiday. Janet was friendly and really helpful. We would definitely book this cottage again.

Dieses Gästehaus ist sehr zu empfehlen. Mit dem (Leih-)Auto sind es ca. 40 min vom Flughafen Edinburgh entfernt. In der Ortschaft Polmont, in einer Parkanlage, weg von der Straße, befinden sich ein paar kleine hübsche Hütten, die gemütlich eingerichtet sind. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für viele schöne Entdeckungsreisen. Vielen Dank den Gastgebern. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

A fabulous cosy cottage, well equipped, and in a perfect spot to visit Edinburgh and surrounding area. Plenty of eateries with in walking distance, a great bakery and some wonderful places to walk. A welcome pack was very much appreciated, thank you Lorna.

Heather was very responsive and proactive in her communications. There was excellent, detailed information about local facilities, places to eat, walks and a range of other information. We had a great stay - there is a lot going on locally and slightly further afield. Nothing was too much trouble for our host and there is the added benefit on site of a communal combined set of ovens and washing machine/driers which often are not available at Airbnbs.

The hosts Catherine and Charles were totally fabulous very welcoming and full of great of ideas and tips of where to visit. We loved staying in The Bothy and it was the perfect place for our holiday very comfortable, clean and well equipped. will be staying again! thank you!

A gem in the countryside. Our Host was very clear on all instructions and friendly during all communications. We enjoyed the beautiful view with glorious sunsets. A very convenient and clean chalet with a playhouse for kids as well. The price was very reasonable and we will definitely be staying here again when back in this area. The underfloor heating was such a bonus!Many thanks!☺️

A lovely place to stay with family for Easter weekend. Really easy to check in and the host made sure we had everything we needed. Easy access to Edinburgh via the park and ride. Would definitely recommend.

Host was excellent. And the place we stayed was lovely and we felt like home and we never had a heart to leave in 2 days. Will definitely visit next time. Clean property and there were instructions in a notebook to visit places nearby. Kids enjoyed the backyard and we had a great time. Thanks a lot Ross

Felt very at home in a lovely steading in a peaceful location which is excellently sited for amenities including easy access to the motorway and neighbouring towns. Great stay, will definitely stay there again.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a very quiet area, so peaceful. Towels and linen were well presented and fresh towels given halfway through the week we were there. Cottage was so warm considering it was February. A summer stay would be amazing with the lovely garden area which is well furnished to suit a family or group of friends. Thank you.
