Martha provided all relevant information regarding her property and much more on the locality (places to visit/eat, etc). The shepherd's hut was excellently presented and well-laid out, making optimum use of the space, eg clever little features like a couple of foldable tables on which to lay out meals. The whole place had a feeling of warmth and cosiness to it, besides being very clean. It had everything needed to make the stay very enjoyable - well sufficient crockery, cutlery, etc - plus a welcome basket and other basics. The hut looks out onto open fields, so there is no way that one feels overlooked. It has its own little garden equipped with garden furniture and a hot tub, as well as tubs of pretty flowers. At the end of a long day visiting RSPB Bempton Cliffs it was a very welcome bolthole. The directions were easy to follow and we arrived at the property at first try. Thank you, Martha. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend booking.

Sue's cottage was such a great find! We took my Dad away for his 80th birthday. He absolutely loved the cottage and area. It is right in the dales of Scarborough. So handy for all the great places to visit: Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. It was immaculate and beautiful inside the cottage and we slept so well. All the basics in the kitchen for what you'd need. We did cook one evening and this was so helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sue's place and I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Breaday Gill Cottage, the location is beautifully rural yet only 10 mins from Scarborough! The cottage was pristine with luxurious underfloor heating, couldn’t fault a thing. We also found it was great with both a toddler and a dog, as everything was on one level with open plan living space and an outdoor area too. We even had perfect weather for March. Lorna was an excellent host, we highly recommend this Air BnB and would love to stay again in the future. Thanks!

We had a lovely short break. The cottage is located perfectly for visits to the coast and local towns and villages. The courtyard garden was secure for the dog and lovely to sit in the sunshine. The cottage had everything we needed and Adrian was really helpful. Thank you for having us.

Lovely cottage in a peaceful village location. We stayed for a week with our toddler. There are lots of local walks and places to see and a great base for exploring the rest of Yorkshire. Elaine who met us at the door was lovely and always very responsive.

Wonderful stay with John and his mrs . Would recommend to anyone wanting a step back away from life to unwind in the countryside. When pulling up on the drive , John gave a very warm welcoming to what made it feel like home for the few days of the trip. The garden itself was probably my favourite part about the stay , as it gave a taste of the countryside itself - definitely with the two horses and chicken. The house itself was perfect and had everything that was needed. Very comfortable too. As a whole with the stay , I couldn’t tweak anything with it - it was perfect. John was most probably the best host I have ever came across - really friendly bloke and easy to talk too , willing to make the stay as comfortable as possible . Nice classic car too. Will definitely be back in the near future - until then - Thank you for the stay!

Sharon’s place is perfect, the pictures really don’t do it justice. Gorgeously decorated and extremely cozy. The garden that surrounds it is beautiful (and features the adorable cat called Poppy) and the centre of Pickering is only a short walk. This place has everything we needed for a lovely staycation weekend - thank you for having us!

Super cosy little cottage for two that sits separately from the main house with a good parking space. Fits the pictures and description perfectly. Susan was a helpful & considerate host and we were greeted by a lovely little welcome hamper of festive & home made goodies. We felt relaxed and comfortable at The Penfold and we had everything we needed for a thoroughly relaxing stay. Would highly recommend. Many thanks to Susan and Alan.
