Quiet, peaceful garden setting. A great little find.

Robyn and Peter were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. Their lovely unit was clean, comfortable, and warm, with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. I especially appreciated Robyn's flexibility with our very late check-in. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we visit this beautiful city

My parents stayed here and really loved the getaway. Wendy was very responsive and accomodating. Lots of nice touches including fresh eggs. Wendy extended the trip post a cancellation which was fantastic. The weather wasn’t ideal but it was the perfect spot for a cosy getaway, right by the ocean. Thanks so much, we will be back!

Such a beautiful spot! The cabin is simple but beautifully done. Loved the walks the owners have marked out and the friendly bird life. There’s some pretty frisky sandflies down by the river but they weren’t too much of a hassle up by the cabin itself. I actually did end up having cell coverage, albeit limited, but everything’s otherwise off the grid which was nice and helped disconnect from work. I got lucky and had gloriously sunny days, so no troubles with the solar hot water. Great stay! Could’ve happily stayed another day, which the owners have noted is a common piece of feedback they get and I can see why.

Such a beautiful and cosy little spot! Perfect for our last night in Christchurch. Clear instructions on how to find the place and how to check in. Parking spot very spacious, short and level walk to the entry which made loading/unloading our luggage a breeze. Amazing attention to detail everywhere we looked, perfect for a couple, would highly recommend to all!

A peaceful well-appointed cottage surrounded by picturesque mountains and farmland. Muesli, yoghurt and chocolates etc were a lovely homely touch. And the 4 ducks - hilarious! Geoff was a friendly host. Thank you

Stayed here 4 nights and really enjoyed it. Small place but had everything we needed - kitchenette, little dining table, space to open up our bags. Photos were spot on, but the lake view in person was next level. It was cold in April but the heater worked well and the bed was really comfy. Everything was clean and well looked after. Bit hard to find at night and the driveway’s a bit tight, so best to arrive during the day if you can. It’s close to restaurants and a small supermarket - bigger shops are about an hour away. Quiet, safe and a good spot to relax. Would stay again. Great for couples or solo travellers.

I really enjoyed my stay at Te Whare o Kea. Anna was friendly and helpful and gave me good instructions on how to get there. The buildings were clean, cosy and a pleasure to spend time in with a beautiful view in all directions. It was worth the drive to spend some time in the peaceful surroundings getting visited by the birds.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The place was so cute, cozy and well decorated. We had everything we needed for our stay and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Definitely will visit again!

Cozy & lovely space on a sweet farm. Angela is super friendly, she took us to watch lamb sheering and feed the animals. We had a great stay!

This place is exactly how it is pictures except better. We stayed the night after our wedding and could not have been more blissed out. The stars and spa, the rain shower and cosy bed. Just perfection. Thank you so much!

What a fantastic place! From the moment you arrive, the magical experience begins. Soft music plays in the cabin, and you're surrounded by majestic views of the valley and high mountains. Amy and Jason have a remarkable eye for detail. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook a delicious meal, and stargazing from the hot tub is an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this place—and without a doubt, we'll be coming back again!

The suite was very clean with a comfortable bed and ample amount of space. The kitchen had everything you would need and the bathroom was spacious. Close proximity to the town center, but within a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for stargazing at night on a clear evening and great mountain/lake views during the day. Hosts were very responsive and provided several local recommendations both of things to do/see and places to eat. Highly recommend!

Ruataniwha Hut is such a beautiful spot! Coming from a country area in aus ourselves, we have a special appreciation for the beauty and the peacefulness of this place 😊 The hut was so cosy, had everything we needed and made for a perfect stay whilst travelling around the area. Huge credit to Andrew who has put in so much effort to make this place special!

Awesome place to stay. Pete's place is very warm and has amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The amenities make you feel like you are at home!

Comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. The carriage has been beautifully restored and is well appointed with all we needed. Lovely to hear the birds in the bush and to make the acquaintance of the sheep.

If you are thinking about staying here - stay here! A standout experience of thoughtful accommodation. Guided to the cabin by solar lights on the driveway, the cabin was spotless and welcoming. The spa is fantastic, and the surroundings are stunning. Lots to do in the surrounding areas but plenty to keep you occupied just on the property. A favourite Airbnb stay for sure!

Such a great cosy spot in beautiful Ōkārito. We loved the outdoor bath under the stars and sitting outside on the deck. Really recommend hiring kayaks from next door too! We’d love to come back soon.
