Fantastic property, very beautiful setting, house is full of character and has an amazing beach outlook. I would highly recommend this property, especially to anyone visiting from overseas or who has not experienced staying this close to the beach. One small bit of constructive critique however is the attempt to monetise almost every aspect of the stay - e.g. early check in and late check out is excessively monetised. Extra linen was left in an accessible area but also had a sign stating not for use - $10 per item charged. This just felt off and took away from what was a great stay (just slightly). That all being said it is a very unique and fun property. I would return again.

Mokihinui is a very special place. Private, peaceful, with some of NZ’s most stunning scenery on your doorstep and an easy explore away. The bach is everything you need and the campground, approx 1km down the road provides great coffee. The Beach Cabin at Mokihinui was everything we were looking for. Thanks for sharing such a special place Jesse, keep up the great work! Brendon and Georgina.

We enjoyed a great long weekend here. It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog and the hosts were very friendly. Great location, right across from the domain and beach access.

Charmante petite chambre chez Karen et Nigel. Un coucher de soleil magnifique à 5 minutes à pied ! Nous avons été acceuilli chaleureusement. Le lieu est calme et reposant ! Le jaccusi était à bonne température pour se détendre quelques minutes !

We loved our stay at the Old Bakery - great location in central Collingwood, clean and comfortable accommodation and stunning views from the back yard. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely home, filled with art and light. Wild and remote coast. Had a great time and our body was understanding when we briefly lost the key!

Wow what an awesome place to stay! Beautiful house tastefully decorated with everything you could want. Loved all the special features of this place such as a great outdoor fire, so close to beautiful beach, spacious house, beautiful flooring, such comfortable beds, etc. Our family group loved our stay at The Cook's House!

Staying at Anthea & Wayne's B&B was a delight! The clean, tidy bedroom offered stunning sunset sea views from the hill. The well-equipped kitchen was perfect for our needs for simple breakfast, and the outdoor BBQ added a lovely touch. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway! Five stars all the way!

Kirsty’s place was perfect for our stay while we were in hokitika for South Island rowing masters champs. Highly recommend.

Great location! Beautiful spot to see the sunset. Easy walk into town. Had everything we needed!

Que dire qui n'a pas déjà été dit! super logement, super environnement, super vue, super accueil ! même si c'est un peu loin des sites touristiques, le trajet en voiture est aussi beau à voir. A y aller sans hésitation, un vrai moment particulier au cours d'un voyage !

Unbelievable value the best place we stayed on our honeymoon. We both loved the container, the newness and cleanliness and the incredible design and style throughout. The bath was stunning and we both fell asleep on the couch under the stars with the sound of the sea close by.

Absolutely outstanding, better than the description. Everything was perfect including hokitika itself. We will return

Wow, wow!! Beautifully presented, perfect location to beach and town. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 infants. Only suggestions I’d make is fly screens on the doors, it got quite hot upstairs during the day. Also a fire guard for gas heater. Tv in downstairs bedroom didn’t work either. But just very small things. Certainly would recommend staying here, we will if we’re back this way. Thanks for being an awesome host with all my questions

WOW. This stay was one in a million. It was amazing to arrive at the Ghost Lodge! We felt so at home and welcome in this amazing house and setting. It was absolutely immaculate, and the rooms were stunning. The backyard was awesome with a deck, chairs, and a beautiful outlook from upstairs and downstairs, and only a 20-second walk to an unspoiled beach. There were so many thoughtful touches that we appreciated (bread, cereal, excellent instructions, amazing and comfortable beds - we all had the best sleep!, all the tea towels, and the fire beautifully laid. Thank you Simon and Guy - you made us feel so very welcome and we look forward to staying in Ghost Lodge again.

This is a stunning place to stay .the views , the gardens amazing . There were 15 of us ranging in age from 1 year to 68.we booked all the cabins and the house. We had our meals around the big table and played cards every night. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds . Lots of games and books there. Elizabeth and Duan and children were lovely and very responsive to any queries. It was a good lesson for us townies to be mindful of our water use as it’s reliant on rain water. We all loved our stay there. A New Zealand paradise
