Beautiful little cottage next to Wombat Botanical Gardens. Spotless comfortable and cosy with lovely garden. Perfect for a weekend to explore Daylesford and region. Catherine was so helpful recommending local restaurants.

The perfect spot to stay in Daylesford. This immaculate house has a dreamy view across the valley. Immaculately clean, this property is spacious and has every amenity a guest requires for a beautiful stay. Close enough to town that we walked in for dinner but so quiet and relaxing. We have been to Daylesford several times and would definitely stay in James’s property again.

Great sized 1-bdrm. Beautiful outdoor areas, surrounded by trees. Well equipped/ stocked, great heating/ cooling, very close to the hot springs. We had a great few days, & would definitely return/ recommend to others.

We had a wonderful two nights in the Garden Loft at Poets Lodge. A beautiful and comfortable space that was ideal for a weekend getaway. Angeline and Richard were responsive and gracious hosts.

Beautiful little area, easy to find and clear check-in instructions, the spa was the perfect temperature, very clean and the perfect distance from town to be walkable but also nice and quiet and very private. The only issues we had was a lack of sponge or cloth to wash the dishes with but aside from that it was well worth it, I highly recommend

Neal was a great host from check in to check out! All the thoughtful extras were appreciated. The cottage felt very welcoming and homely on arrival and throughout our stay. A beautiful base to travel within the Central Goldfields region. Neal's knowledge of the area and recommendations were appreciated as we were able to visit some of these places which we enjoyed.

We had a great stay at Daylesford Country Retreats. The accommodation was just as described and as per the photos. The beautiful scenery around the property made our stay so peaceful. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for having us!

Kim’s place was lovely. We took our two golden retrievers who really appreciated all the little touches that make it ideal for pups - things like snacks for them on arrival and pup friendly bed linen. The area is ideal if you’re looking to step away from the city hustle and bustle, and just vanish into the countryside. Whilst Vaughan is very quiet and peaceful, Daylesford was about a 20-30 mins drive away which of course has plenty to do. An ideal balance of both worlds. Kim’s responses were super quick which was hugely appreciated and a great welcome pack was available too. Highly recommend to anyone who just wants to step away from the world for a little hush time. I'd highly recommend Stephanie's country cottages to anyone looking for a peaceful bush getaway. A friendly and gracious host, we felt right at home straight away and the cottage was lovely and comfortable. The garden is a fantastic place to do some star gazing, then have a copy fire to warm back up. Just loved it. Thank you for having us Stephanie!

Piccolo Cottage is the perfect place for a cosy getaway. We could have stayed in the whole time just to relax and enjoy. Loved all the amenities and quiet location.

Lovely old miners cottage. Great bed. Had everything required for a relaxing stay. Short walk into Daylesford. Nice extra touches.

Wombat Cottage is the ideal place to stay if you have your furry friend with you. The cottage is secure and well equipped for dogs and the walks with them in the parks, to the shops and around lakes are limitless. For us humans, Wombat Cottage was clean, warm, cosy and had everything we needed for a 4 day holiday. I would highly recommend it and we are already planning to return next year.

Ellen and Kevin are attentive and welcoming hosts. Astley Cottage is clean and cozy with beautiful views of the surrounding native forest. Daylesford is a beautiful town with so much to see and experience, wish we'd booked a longer stay!

This is a beautiful cottage with lots of little extras for a family. Centrally located,it’s only a 5-10 minute drive to almost any attraction in Ballarat. The house is private and quiet, and Deb is a fantastic host. We had stayed here a few years ago and were very happy to visit once again. If you’re looking for a family getaway Dunwoody should be at the top of your list.

We had the most wonderful time at the Maggie May cottage! Selena was such a great host, giving us awesome local recommendations and being available to answer any questions we had. The cottage was impeccably clean and organised, with everything being easy to find. Our stay felt very comfortable and luxurious, our children enjoyed all of the toys & games available too! The Cottage was very well presented, spacious and had top quality bedding and bed furniture. The kitchen had an extensive range of crockery, cutlery and tools. It is an ideal location for the rail trail cycle path. We would stay again if we revisited the area.

A beautifully furnished, lovely cottage. Amber’s local restaurant and cafe recommendations were phenomenal - we jam packed a long weekend trying to get to as many of them as possible! A fraction noisy with the train line nearby but we knew that going in and all still slept well.

Great place to stay and we can’t thank Daniel enough for sharing his amazing beautiful little donkeys with us, so affectionate and such beautiful little cuddle bugs, hope to come back again ❤️🫏

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It’s very cosy and clean. There’s everything you need in the kitchen. There were even games and colouring books for the kids. There are farms around you so it’s perfect if you want to escape the hustle of the city. Just a quick drive to all the sights in the area. Kylie is a very friendly and helpful host, always responded quickly. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful home and perfect location for our visit to Sovereign Hill. Jane was helpful, check in/out was easy and we felt right at home. Highly recommend!
