Clean, very polite.

It was a great stay at Elizabeth’s place. I enjoyed the 1970’s retro decoration and layout of the house is cool. It was nice to have a backyard for quick access from the garage and also nice to use the garage when unpacking/packing. Elizabeth left snacks and drinks which was so kind.

Sylvia, answered us last minute! She was very accommodating to our situation. We reached out pretty late and she was very helpful and ready for us to stay! She had a lovely home for us to stay at. We felt so welcomed! She had toys for our one year old to play! She was very responsive and easy going! I would definitely recommend staying at Sylvia’s! She helped us when we really needed it. Sylvia and her husband are incredibly nice and I’m thankful they had somewhere for us to stay at a reasonable price!

Ben and his wife are awesome hosts. their house is beautiful just like the pictures they provide.

We loved the deck and the quiet area!

We loved our stay! The gardens were beautiful. There were wild turkeys and we got to bottle feed puppies! Breakfast each morning was a lovely treat! Thank you for lettuce us use your home :)

5 stars. Check in was easy. Jackie communicated well and the house was stocked with everything you need. You can tell they put in a lot of work to make this a comfortable place. Nice kitchen, bathroom, rooms etc. Would stay again!

Rose Cottage has been tastefully restored. This Arts & Crafts brick cottage maintains original architectural details and features antique furniture throughout along with time-period appropriate light fixtures and decorative objects. It is very lovely! There is a gas fireplace where you can have coffee in the mornings. Lizzie is definitely a people person and has much experience in hospitality which shows in her friendly demeanor and the way she provides for her guests. She lives in this home where guests can rent rooms. There is one downstairs bedroom with a private bath, we had an upstairs room, one of three upstairs I believe and a common bathroom is shared by all the upstairs guests. These rooms are clean and cozy. Flannel sheets were on the bed, space heater and fan were in the closet if needed. There is adequate lighting to read in bed. There are cheaper places to stay in Wayne, but if you appreciate historical surroundings and a nice personal touch it is worth the money.
