We had the best stay at Jockey Ridge. Two adults, a 10yo and a dog. The space was beyond perfect, inside and out! The location was EXACTLY what we hoped for and more. The host was as fantastic as the property. Her attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. We forgot a couple things, and to our surprise, it was included. Sound machine, etc. even poop bags for the dog! And a chew bone waiting for him outside. She made our vacation seamless. Not to mention being able to walk out the door and hike the beautiful sand dunes. Our 10yo loved sand boarding on a boogie board that she provided. We tried all the restaurants she suggested, and more. They were all a hit. What a special place! We booked it from what we saw online, out of hundreds of other locations, and something drew us to this place. And in person, it was better than we could have ever imagined. We hope to do it again next year, and maybe a couple times in between, too! Thank you Jockey Ridge. You made memories forever!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy Airbnb overlooking the Currituck Sound! The location near the heart of Duck is hard to beat, with easy access to fantastic shops, restaurants, and local coffee shops. The views over the sound are stunning, and the peaceful setting made it a truly relaxing getaway for this time of year. Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive, ensuring we were set for a smooth check-in. 10/10 would recommend!

What a neat little spot! The space was perfect for our family of three. Close to beaches, restaurants, shops, and the ferry. Gracie, her place, and her art gallery next door encapsulate what makes the Outer Banks so welcoming and charming very well. Will 100% be back in the future.

I had an amazing few days at Jayme's place. Everything was exactly as described. I look forward to returning. This may sound like a cliche, but it truly is a hidden gem. The apartment is spacious and welcoming. Perfect for a small family or getaway with a few friends. I was able to visit with my family, while having my own quiet space where I could work in the day and see my kids/grandkids in the afternoons and evenings. Just steps away, you can rent a bike and go anywhere. The area is also very walkable. A wonderful restaurant is also just steps away from the property. Everything is very close, including groceries, restaurants, and things to do. And, of course, there is a very easy short stroll to the beach so no worries about looking for parking :) Jayme is super friendly and helpful. It was a treat to meet her. I don't think I have ever met a host in person. I have been fortunate to have wonderful AirBnB experiences, but this has been one of my best.

Landing here made the drive through Nags Head and Kitty Hawk so worthwhile! Waking up from a very comfortable sleep to this amazing view every morning is indescribable:). The loft had everything we needed for our 3 nights there and the location was perfect. Several places are seasonal, so do your homework, but we had no problem finding a good meal:). Plan ahead also if you want to see the horses.

Really enjoyed the condo it was a perfect base camp for a variety of activities in the OBX. There was a well stocked kitchen which was great as we did a lot of home meals. The condo was nicely decorated, and the beds were super comfy! James was easy to contact and communicated back quickly if asked a question. Was a great stay.

We found the apartment to be very comfortable, neat and tidy. We liked the location and the fact that it was away from the noise and traffic of the main road. The apartment fit our needs perfectly. We would certainly come back and stay here on a return visit to the Outer Banks.

Beautiful home and setting- exactly as described. We didn’t have good luck with weather so the hot tub and area under the house were lifesavers. Probably the best stocked Airbnb we’ve stayed in and hosts are very responsive. I will mention that there are a lot of things that aren’t open this time of year, but there was enough for us to eat out a few times. Overall a great stay.

Very cute little place. At first, we thought the layout was strange but fell in love with it by the end of the trip. Two rooms and a bathroom for the kids and a master suite with stable mid-century layout that I fell in love with by the end of the trip. Loved the amenities and there was enough kayaks for everyone to go out together. We picked this place just for our kids to be about to safely fish and it was perfect for that. At one point the lock broke and there were right over as they live next door. Was a good trip and everything was close. We’d stay here again.

I can't say enought about this AirBnb!! The house is in the perfect location, the views are amazing, it is super clean, the house is wonderful!!! If you have fur babies - you can't ask for better. Fully fenced in HUGE yard (ours are escape artists and they didn't even try to get out). They provide 2 dog crates, dog bows, and even toys! The layout is awesome for hanging out in comfort with lots of people and cooking! Dana - is the best host we have ever had. She texted me her cell number prior to arrival and when we had a crises involving our dogs she came to the rescue and helped us! This house is worth every penny and we will defiantly be back! Thank you for making our trip amazing!

We had a great stay! We visited outer banks for my mother’s birthday and she loved every minute. This home is very close to the Wright Brothers Memorial and all the nice beaches of the outer banks. All of their restaurant/eatery recommendations were spot on. Of note, if you are traveling with dogs, the neighbors on either side of the home have dogs and they are frequently barking. If you want a quick breakfast before heading out for the day, stop at the gas station down the road (TJs) they make a pretty egg and cheese on a biscuit!

I had been looking forward to this trip as an opportunity to make memories with our young adult children and it did not disappoint! The home was very clean, and sunrises from the dock were beautiful. The four bedrooms provided ample space for everyone yet the layout made it cozy and inviting. We enjoyed fishing off of the dock, close proximity to Manteo, and interacting with the friendly neighbors of the four and two-legged varieties. We had an amazing time! We typically never stay at the same home twice when we travel, but we loved our time at ‘Always Sonny’ and hope to return very soon!

Andy and the place were awesome. Great location, good view, loved biking to downtown Manteo, easy checkin, clean. The only downsides were the neighbors/view on either side of the home, which are obviously not within the owners control. Otherwise, great experience.

The house is in Duck. It was easy to find and the neighborhood amenities were lovely and well maintained. The house was well equipped and in good condition. The only updates needed are the outdoor cushions. The property manager was available and responsive and we were grateful for his quick and helpful responses. We hope to return soon!

Our stay was pretty perfect! The views were amazing and the condo was comfortable. Easily accessible, very close to a lot of really great places like Swells’a Brewing brewery, which is a 5 minute walk. Gene was very responsive and helpful, he made the stay a breeze! The condo was so clean and felt like home. We will definitely stay again.

Exactly as expected, pictures say it all! Very clean, easy to communicate with the host, well appointed condo. With 4 kids, it can be tough to find something everyone likes to do, no problem with the recommendations and coupons! Thank you!! I really appreciated the communication I had with Dave as we definitely walked to the local grill next-door and had an amazing dinner! I thought it was a great location, could see the ocean and sunrises and public access to the beach was just a short walk! It was great. Thanks Dave!

This was a wonderful place to stay-quiet, peaceful with lots of light and a beautiful view from the deck! The condo was beautifully appointed. It was also easy to get to the National Seashore. An added bonus was an easy ride to hook up with the bike path!

Private beach access and parking. We had a roof shell on our car so had to park in a spot that was just a few feet away from our condo. A local neighbor gave us the tip to park there. Quiet, beautiful, and you can hear the ocean from the deck 😍 Thanks John!

The say at ‘Sea Too’ was the most enjoyable, peaceful and relaxing stay I have ever had at Cape Hatteras. Beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and the perfect atmosphere. I really couldn’t have asked for more!
